NHL Highlights | Predators vs. Senators | October 13, 2025
And away we go. Brady Martin, fifth overall pick
in last summer’s draft. He played the first two games in Nashville. He’s a healthy scratch for the
face off against Eric Holla. Face off. One back to Sanders in a shot and Jussi Soros makes the stop
and hangs on. Soros an 896 save percentage last year. Jamie terrific awareness. A lead pass finds
forward cricket alone. shoots a realist awareness. So watch this pass. Forsber gets behind coverage.
The initial shot and the rebound as Mark nears the puck. Forsber tries to go short side high glove.
Omar makes plays that back to Forsber. Shoot and Sanderson in front. Zoo trying to clear it
out. Puck still bouncing in front. Little dribble down to Mark. He’ll hang on to that.
Here is Spence with it. Jordan Spence pivots away and has a look. Drops that back for Shabbat.
Down to Spence. Walking in centering pass on goal and Soros kicked that away. Sanderson back down to
Stutzler. Stutzler feeds it back across. Cousins now with a quick shot. Sos got a piece of that.
Stutzler logs back in. Back across to Sanderson shoots. It’s almost saved. Rebound picked
up by Pervix as he banks it back down the ice. Final seconds of the first penalty to
Nashville. Back to Shiru. Centers it. It’s knocked away from the break. Allison had a
chance now for Smith. Short-handed breakaway. Cole Smith walking in. She wide. So another
breakaway for Nashville here in the opening moments of the game. Certainly a shooters
mentality on this power play as fired the puck a few times. Two shots for Ottawa on the
extended power play including the five on three. remains scoreless here in the first period.
He’s had pretty good chuck in the center dressing room. Sanderson back to Zoo Zoo
with a long shot and Soros swings it down to Forsber back across with a chance and
a good stop by Omar got that with a stick. Third and sixth round picks to get him. Sanderson watching the shot goes Jake
Sanderson fires it homes the lead prior to scoring goals. So that’s my
initial reaction gourd was if you look at the body of Jussi Sorrowos there’s
the you know speech coming through the crease. Yeah. You know what his right his
right skate touches the left skate of USO. After review, it was determined that there
was goalender interference in the book. Ottawa crowd incense in the home opener. Shabbat
wide pass through and shoot and makes a great stop in tight on Clou. Another good scoring
chance for Ottawa moments after one was taken off the board. Straw here in period number two on
Canadian Tires. There’s hockey for Adam Wilsby. Cole Smith was rebind for Tyson. Joe’s moving
in. Shoot. Oh my god. Keeps it out and knocked it wide. Bounced away from Justin Baron. Here’s
Spence racing to it. Up ahead for Dylan Cousins. That was knocked away. Puns chips right down
the front of the ball. Marges and scores. And Nashville opens the score with 749 to go in
the second period to get to the wall. Spences trying to chip that up the wall. Cousins tries to
take that to his backand a touch little play down low to Maraso. Comes off that wall and gets
to the front of the net. There’s the turnover off the skate of Holla down low. Marshes from
backhand to forehand. He’s going to slide it, power it through Lena. Nashville
has the game’s opening goal. Sanderson slaps that back across centers
from Pinto feed down to Kachchuck. Walks it in. Shoots and Zos keeps it. Sanderson
keeping that puck in down low. Kachchuck looking for options. Turns Saros just
slides that back to Shabbat with time. Back to spins to Shabbat. On comes Kachchuck in
the fouron four. Takes that back a couple. Excuse and finally picked up by Spence. Jabbot over
and then through the seam. This hits the he might hit the post and use Sorrowos as well.
Gourd, but he gets across post and back skate. Chance save now. Stanos plays it across
eventually. Good shot. Pad save by Omar. Feeds it across. Sharon with a chance. Put that
wide. Forsber back with it. One-on-one with Nick Jensen. And Forsber gets around it. Ranging
back the stand. Drops in the high. They score. Guard. It’s a broken play. Ryan O’Reillyy’s going
to finish it off. Wall. The one-time comes right around. Vick Jensen goes to pinch off Forsber.
Cousins goes across now. Stampos. Everybody thinks that Stanos is shooting this puck. He pops it back
into the slot. I think this might hit Cousins. I’m not even sure Riley O’Reilly shot that puck.
Rolled towards the net. Here’s the the fake back through the middle of the ice. Oh, this could
go off the skates. You’re right. of Zetterland. Stampos might get credit credit for it, but it’s
move back. Sanders holds and fires. Earl receive lost his goal stick in the process. Some
frustrated shot gets the initial save by Jussi Soros. And gets around him. Soros, as
you mentioned, throws everything he can at it. Gets the glove at the last second. Stuss
wins the face off back to Sanderson for shoot by Ridley Greg and with 203 to go in the third
period. The power play goal brings Ottawa back within long. The importance of winning a draw
on the power play in a sixon four situation. Grant to that Brady Kachchuck position right
to the front of the net. directs it with his skates. His stick is being lifted, but he still
gets in position as Shay pushes him over top of the goalender. But it’s a heads up play to get
it down to the front of the net and Reng Greg has cut Nashville’s lead in half. Crowd urging the
owners on here in their home opener held by Pinto. Final minute now in the third period.
Out the center ice comes Mariso with the empty net. Jonathan Maro scores and Mareso
has his second to make it 3-1 Nashville. Sans never got set up. Closing off the wall
chipping it out and Marsho supporting the puck with McCarron. Skates into a lane
where he can knock down to Peron. Shabbat centered by Peron. Another chance at the
center of the goal and Zelin turned away. Shabbat back across. That’s chipped
up by Cole Smith. Evangelisa for Smith busting in and Cole Smith makes it 4-1. Just the his first in 26 games. DDD play.
Smith has actually got the long reach. Going to break up that DDD pass then skate into it.
Nashville Predators will skate away from Ottawa with a 41 win. Nashville to Toronto tomorrow. The
Senators will play in Buffalo on Wednesday night.

Here come the Ottawa fans complaining about Goaltender Interference
It's great that we won (Go, Preds, go!), but I have to admit that we wouldn't have a single point without Saros making amazing saves in our net.
Predators seem doing well
Classy of Vange to get that back to Smith for the 2nd empty netter
Go preds!
What If Sebastian Aho From Carolina Hurricanes Is Traded To The Ottawa Senators Exchange With Fabian Zetterlund?
Goaltender interference is like the meaning of life. No one knows what it is.
