NHL Highlights | Lightning vs. Bruins | October 13, 2025
who played three of the last five seasons in
the National Hockey League with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He’s on the ice to start as is Tanner
Jano Mackoy had it swiped. Countering now is Gonz across sent out in front. They score. Anthony
Celli tipped it home and the Lightning out to an early one- nothing lead. Well, some
indecision by Charlie Makavoy right around his own defensive blue line leads to a turnover.
Puck just kind of squirts towards the boards, but Tampa’s going to make a nice play. Bruins
are up ice cuz you have possession. You thinking offense and now there’s an overcommit to the
puck. That means the trailers open. This is kind of reminiscent of what Chicago was able
to do to Boston. And that’s just a perfect good work by that line to create a power
play chance for the Bruins down one. And a great opportunity to square the game. Sent
out in front. Deflected Johansson. A stick save. And now Luri Will hits Peak to the dot.
Shoots. Good blocker save made by Johansson. Middlestat wins the drop. Peak shoots just wide.
The rebound. Chipped out in front off the pad of Johansson. And out comes Hegel. Cooerov. Send it
out in front. Not sure if that was on side, but the Bruins are going to exit the zone. Zaka with
a step across to Arbitson. Shoots. Yansson. The save. Zidorova to Yoki Haru. That puck deflected
down and I think it hit up top. It comes. Croer Cooer to the slot. Point shoots. Corposel the
save. The rebound and Corposel able to snag it. Gonzalez sent it to the corner. Mcdana threw
it up top. Gets it back. Dish into the slot. Corbos great stop back door and then he stays
with it. Uh got a little lost in coverage here. Watching the puck and not picking up Gensel.
Kensel takes that pass. Catch and release. Nice stop by Corposal able to get across. Able to stick
that left pad. Threeon two the other way. Gordon Bjorkstrand right into the glove of his former
Blue Jackets teammate Yonis Corposello. Mitten couldn’t get that puck to stay on his forehand.
There’s a chance to make a play there from behind the net. Bad hop out in front. Corposal lunges to
his left and snatches it away from Gourd. And I believe jumps right out in front. You’re expecting
the wrap around. You can see the reaction by Jordan Harris. Totally surprised by that puck
coming back towards the middle of the ice. loses an edge and Gourd gets a good opportunity on a
short little pass from Borkstrand. Glove star, but I just want to this one deflects all the
way down. Corposal settles it. Dished it to the corner. Zadora picked off. Celli who has the
game’s only goal. Celli again shoots. He scores. Anthony Celli. Two goals and a two nothing
lead for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Decision with the puck. And when a puck turns over, now
you’re in trouble because you don’t have enough bodies back and you’re not in good position. Now,
even though the play doesn’t develop immediately, you’re still a little lost in coverage as to who’s
got who, where are we, how we sorting this out, where’s the help supposed to be if the
two defenseman are aggressive down below the goal line. And Posternok has it. Just over a
minute remaining in the first. He catches cross. One-time post stop in front. Yeah, we’re looking
for this kind of surge right here. It’s going to start off the rush. Boston’s going to find Geeky.
Pulls up, finds Mackoy for the one-time. Master gets a piece of it. Puck up the wall. Looks
like they’re going to get an easy exit out of the defensive zone. And there’s a turnover.
Mismanaged the puck. Slides off the stick. He tried to bat a puck down. Ends up being a
perfect pass for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Right to Homeberg. And Homeberg gets real
creative. He draws Corposalo over to the back end and then he spins it right around to
Zaka. Arbitson Middlestack shoots. He scores. Happen when you execute, when you manage the
puck and you make plays tape to tape. I mean, this is basically a threeon three and the Bruins
take advantage of loose coverage by Tampa. Tampa felt pretty confident going up three nothing early
in the second period. This was the line on the ice for Tampa that did the damage in the first period,
but the Bruins enabled that. Now Homer races back with Makavoy. They not up in the corner.
Makavoy being held up. We play on Croer shoots. Save rebound. They score that puck skidded off of
Corposello to a wide open near post and it looked like Pis Homeberg easily potted it and the Bruins
trail 4-1 play by Tampa. There’s a one-on-one battle. Homeberg and Macka Boy. Crowd wanted a
holding call on Homeberg. Didn’t happen, but the Bruins get a little scrambly in the defensive
zone. There’s been some breakdowns in coverage. watching pucks, not eliminating, not a head twoon
one. Harris with Saka. Harris shoots. He scores. Bruins give the Bruins a goal right back at
3-1. Then you go back up 4-1 to say, “All right, we got this game. We’re totally controlled.” And
then you get a bad pinch by Churn at the wrong time. And the Bruins with a nice little touch
pass by Posanok. Twoon one with Harris leading the rush. They overplay the pass. He reached shot and
he goes short side like Middlestat on Johansson. Zaka out there with Geeki. player to score off another clean face off when Morgan Gei
whistles it by Johansson. It’s a one-goal hockey game. And this is the Morgan Geeky we saw
the entire second half last year. Confident with a shot mentality right off the draw. Zaka with
another big play. the little things that he does, the details in his game. No matter what position
he’s playing, he’s able to win this puck right back behind of a set play. Really, I’m going
to try to win this right through my skates. You come off that hash mark in a shooting
position and rip it. He’s a little weasel. Churnack to York. He said lovingly. He did.
Chernax send it out in front. Corposero. A point blank save on Holberg. That was huge
to keep it a onegoal margin. Be in both. Here’s the rebound chance for Homeberg. Dead
center. Think that punt on Gourd. Gave it away up the middle. Laurai shoots off the post.
Cranked it off the iron. Back to the Bruins. Chances right here. Good feed from behind the
net. Laurai just takes space. He takes ice. He gets to the scoring area and
just flat out beats Johansson toel across point back of it. Cooerov fired out in
front and point denied by Corposel. He read it but the Bruins were able to get get it out.
So it goes by the board. Here’s that play we were talking about. Coocher off the point well
executed all the way coov back off to center ice. How is that not an offside? Mos makes the
save anyway. Taped the Hegel for an empty net and Mosa committed to the hit. Absolutely.
The Lightning have it. They’ll bang it back into the Bruins zone. This is going to flow wide
and the Lightning going to hang on and pick up their first victory of the season. Your final
here today, the Lightning four and the Bruins

Ive seen enough, give Pasta MVP
Bruins – sloppy sloppy sloppy! Loosing game just 4 minutes into second period! Allowing goals in first minute of both periods! Fix your damn power play: today 0-5! Where did Pasta disappear to in last 3 games?!
This is not a very good Bruins team despite their record.
You shouldve seen how good they played in the third period in person, despite the score it was a very close game almost 4-4 in the last minute.
Pasta’s hit on Kucherov was a highlight in itself
3rd times the charm .. what a disappointment after the preseason
Lohrei was stand out awful today
