Thank goodness Boz didn’t get hurt on that kick. Steelers need to have a discussion about switching to an artificial turf or hybrid turf.
I mean…Boswell slid one foot forward and somehow also 3″ down while trying to kick that last FG. It clearly wasn’t a banner day for grass at the stadium.
Steelers sharing this field to have it wrecked for Sundays is the dumbest thing ever.

When the Stillers best player (Boz) blows out his knee next time because of the field will they finally do something about it then?
I would like to say as someone who worked in the turf industry, please don’t blame the staff. I’m sure they are doing the best they can with the budget and timeline they’re given considering the Pitt games there. I’m sure they’d prefer to replace the field more often if allowed to do so.
Send Pitt back to Oakland. Having an NFL team “share” a field is ridiculous.
I read that they tore up the field right after the game
Certainly looked like a potato field. It’s all about the Desso GrassMaster system, I’ve never seen a field (pitch) look so good, all the time, than at Twickenham (Wembley also uses it as well)
