Naylor might be the new dad on the team but Polanco is the postseason’s father
10-3 ALCS game and somehow the ump gave the worst performance out of anyone on the field.
I’m not going to say anything with too much arrogance because I’m a lifelong Mariners fan lol, but this is probably the most impressive two games the Seattle Mariners have ever played.
Coming into Toronto, after having very little rest, and just snatching the Blue Jays hearts out of their chests is incredible. The Blue Jays looked white hot after the Yankees series and Mariners pitching has completely shut them down, while Mariner bats have shown they are every bit as good as the vaunted Toronto offense.
The Blue Jays have the ability to come in and win game 3 in Seattle and make this a series. They have that kind of talent. But they are teetering and the M’s can deliver a knockout blow at home with their starting pitching lineup.
WELCOME TO POLANTO
I dont know about you but I would say that was a huge win and that the seattle mariners are a damn good baseball club
Man.
Fuck that ump.
FUCK DOUG EDDINGS
I think we are good
It’s not over until it’s over, but what a showing. I love y’all and I love this team
Doug Eddings is a baseball terrorist
Maybe the tigers just have the best pitching staff in baseball.
What a nightmare scenario for the Jays.
Feeling very good about our pitching staff going forward rn
Like holy shit we’ve never gone 2-0 in the lcs… is it FINALLY our time?! I am unfamiliar with this feeling.
I’m ngl I moved out of the PNW for the first time in my life this year and I’m gonna be kinda pissed if I’m not around to celebrate
Well I’ve definitely had better Thanksgivings
What a game, just relieved that didn’t go into extra Eddings
I never wanna see Doug Eddings again
MASTRABONI LEGACY GAME
Mariners bullpen has been incredible these last three games.
My favorite part of being a Mariners fan is that our wins are convincing, no-doubt, solid victories. It’s nice knowing that our team plays consistent baseball and it puts my heart at ease being certain that we have a game in the bag. I have never doubted this Mariners team, ever. And I have no reason to, with this magnificent team that gives me no stress at all./s
. . .
wait.
So im actually kind of starting to unironically believe that magic is real
Imagine being up 2-0 before the NLCS even starts
The Blue Jays have gotta be stunned right now. You did THAT to the Yankees and then come into the ALCS scoring 4 runs across 2 games? And now you have to go to the deadzone that is T-Mobile??
Just fade us out and gimme a brewers mariners world series
Mariners are now 3-0 since I busted out my trusty old trident hat.
You know maybe the tigers offense isn’t that bad. Mariners pitching is just that good.
They didn’t just lose home field advantage, the jays basically forfeited any kind of advantage they had in this series with that marathon game. The entire M’s rotation is back to full rest.
THE SEATTLE MARINERS ARE 3-0 IN THE HUMPY ERA
Maybe we’re a lot better than I thought.
“Mariners will be tired.”
“The first game will be an automatic loss.”
Lmfao. Loving this turn of events.
