Los Angeles Kings at Minnesota Wild | FULL Shootout Highlights – October 13, 2025
Carill Capriovv first to shoot. [Applause] Here comes Capri off. Save by Keer. Yeah, I think you could hear it. I don’t think Capri off was happy with his attempt. It looked like maybe it rolled just off his heel and fanned on. He tried going high glove and it never just got up and wasn’t happy. But I think it was there. Now Adrian Kempe, a game tying goal scorer for LA. Kempe in and a save by Boston. And a little fist bump. I love it. He’s feeling it. Uh is out on top. Came out with authority. I like his depth. He’s out on top. Stayed with him the whole way. Keep had nothing to shoot on and then added at the end. Little fist pump, baby. I like it. Swede versus Swede. Yep. Now it’s Baldi. [Music] He’s got plenty of tricks up his sleeve. That’s for sure. I’ve witnessed that many practices watching him. He can do it all. Little discussion here between the officials. Not sure about what, but here comes Baldi. Baldi. Baldi works against Keer. And a pad save by Keer. Again, I think he’s looking five hole. He’s trying to make Keer make the first move and just beat him along his heel of his stick. And as a lefty, you see a lot of lefties try to do that. Keer beats him to the ice and makes a save. [Music] Number 12, Trevor Moore. Now Trevor Moore. Moore comes in with some speed against Valstead. And a save by Volstead. Yeah, Moore comes in, elects to take a quick little shot, try to beat him with a quick release. Ball set again, just confident, calm, not sure where it ends up, but keeps it out of the crease, gets lost at his feet. Vladimir Terasenko, third to shoot for Minnesota. At the post, and the Kings will have a chance to win it with Kevin Fiala. Los Angeles does what he does best. Shoots the puck, rips it just just off the iron, but had Keer beat high in the glove side. Here comes Fio for Los Angeles. And a save by Volstead as he went back to the back hand. We’ll head to a sudden death fourth round of the shootout. Great job staying with y’all the whole way. He’s got, you know, makes five or six quick moves in tight. Gets a good push, beats him to the post, and then another one. I like it. He’s into it tonight with that fist bump. Marco Rossi looking to give Minnesota the lead. He scores. Well, the scouting report might have been watch high glove on the they get an iPad a chance to look at breakaways that Keer’s given up in shootouts and maybe it’s something high glove. He saw Capri off want to go there. Terasenko goes there now. Finally Rosie finds Twine. Ballstead can win it with a save against Keno. Save by Boston and a win for the Wild. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yes. For Volstead with the first home win of his career. That’s a great feeling. You could tell the amount of fist bumps he was given. But as a goalie, what you’re always asked to do is make the last save every night. You see it here. Skilled player Kuzo stays square on him all night. And right there, baby. Boom. Win number one at home. Great night for him. Good for the Wild to head out on the road with the win at home. The Kings came from three down to force an extra session, but Minnesota with a penalty kill in overtime. And four saves in the shootout for Volstead. Marco Rossi wins it 43 the final. [Music]
