[Rapoport] Kyler Murray’s injury, a mid-foot sprain, is a version of a Lisfranc injury, source said. There is a possibility Murray is out more than this week, as pushing it can cause an aggravation.

  1. I believe some of us yesterday joked “what if” Kyler missed a 2nd week, and it looks like its actually possible. Wouldnt mind seeing if we play well on offense a 2nd game on a row with Brissett.

  2. nobody cares….. I just laugh because a team owner is definitely getting his 250 million dollars worth of crap from kyler.

  3. This is also a reason why we need to move from Murray, he is very fragile. The play that forced him out of the game against the titans he wasn’t even touched, he just moved to get the ball and sprained his foot.

  4. He’s definitely not playing with a bye the following week. Those liscfranc injuries could linger and can worsen if you push it.

  5. I know people want to clown but that lisfranc effing sucks!! I work UPS and I had that and I hated life. But I still went to work 😉 but I wasn’t trying to dodge 300lb lineman.

  6. I bet they want to see how they play with BRISSETT with the packers and cowboys. Before they bring Kyler back

  7. The way the season is going, we might not see him play another game as a Cardinals player.

  8. An Arizona Cardinals injury that they say might be a couple of weeks? I think we can expect a month or two based on how this team reports on injuries.

  9. In the post over on r/nfl it was mentioned that this is the same injury that basically ended Cam Newton’s career.

  10. Under the circumstances with Brissett playing decently last week no one’s going to complain too much if he gets another chance to go out there. He did exactly what a good backup needs to do against the Colts, hang in there and put his team in position to win. Wasn’t quite able to finish but if the defense had made one more stop he would have.

You guys do need to consider the possibility that lisfranc injuries can cause permanent damage and Murray may come back with his trademark mobility somewhat reduced. It’s a possibility.

  11. ok so we’ll have good time with Brissett at the helm. If he balls out, or our offense just looks competent, I think that’s the final nail in the coffin for Kyler here

  12. Had a lisfranc fracture a few years back. Had to keep working my warehouse job through it. Never healed right. My foot is “stiff feeling” at best and in pain at worst, all the time now, except for the rare instances where I can get it to pop right… even then, the relief is only temporary.

He should definitely not play and let it heal right. No sense ruining his foot for the rest of his career/life by hurrying this injury recovery.

  13. this season is so fucking depressing bro like if they were just flat out bad like the titans (lmao) or the saints then it wouldn’t hurt as bad cause there would b no hope but coming into the season I predicted 10 wins and I think many fans did as well but now they’re 2-4 . and even with that they could EASILY b 4-2 but they CANNOT finish at all, they don’t finish drives, finish quarters, or finish games
