BUFFALO SABRES BIG TRADES ARE COMING AFTER LOSING FIRST 3 GAMES | SABRES TRADE RUMORS / RANT

It’s time to talk about the Buffalo Sabres already. So, welcome back to the channel. If you’ve been here before, welcome if you’re new. The Buffalo Sabres are 0 and3 to start the season. Uh, all three regulation losses. They’ve scored two goals in three games, facing a lot of injuries. So, we’re going to go over all that. Hope you subscribe if you haven’t yet. I was at the Sabres home opener and I just think the worst part about all this is the fact that first game home opener sold out. Fans are dialed. fans are into it. Fresh start and all these injuries which are obviously out of your control. Uh but just the effort the effort at some points in this game. I thought maybe like the second period Shurkin really stood on his head in some parts of the game, but when you just put a goose egg on the board, lose four nothing to the Rangers who put on a horrible performance against the Penguins. Um and then you just only score two goals in your next uh two games, right? Like I think the fact that you went into that home opener and got embarrassed and you still only scored two goals in your next two games. Yes, I understand it’s in Boston. It’s tough environment and the Bruins have been hot to start the season and it’s against the ABS, a really good team. You do look at the rest of the schedule coming up here in October and it’s all division rivals essentially, right? like except for the Blue Jackets later in the month, but outside of that, you see Florida, Montreal, Detroit, Ottawa, Boston, like they’re playing all division rivals. So, the reason I’m making this video is also because of what I just said there. If you lose a bunch of these games coming up against your division rivals and you see all these teams get those wins and you just stay at the bottom, like Buffalo, it’s going to change really quickly. So, from Elliot Freeman about the Sabres, we basically know that two of their franchise players, Dallian and Thompson, have indicated that it has to get better this year. The Sabres don’t have a long runway for this. They’re not going to let this happen again, right? Like, you’re already seeing the the paper bags. You’re already seeing it happen. Um it’s it’s not a good situation. And uh I think a lot of people feel just at this point feel sick for Sabres fans, right? Like jerseys are being tossed in the first few games of the season. Um, I think that’s not something that you want to be happening three games in if this was to happen like on a really bad loss and just kind of a mediocre season. But, uh, it’s kind of just a message that Sabres fans are done with this. So, is Kevin Adams done? Do they have to just part ways with a few guys? Um, I think the biggest thing for me is like there’s a couple guys that are injured here that would make the difference. Um like when you went into the home opener and I saw no power like no Benson like those are those are big pieces and obviously no Lukan in to start the year is also big too. Uh I would love to hear from Sabres fans on their thoughts on Lindy Ruff of course like a legendary name in the history of the Buffalo Sabres. So that’s a tough situation to kind of go through but uh you just see like like even Jay here goes through some of his thoughts I think and I I tweeted it out if you guys want to go check it out. The fact that they traded Cousins for Norris was one of the worst things I had ever seen. I thought it was pretty bad like in terms of overall value to get like what they got for Purka, but I was like, you know what, they got two needs. Like I actually like Josh Stone a lot. I actually think the fact that they didn’t get the value that I expected but still got two players I love that are fits for this team. Like Kesler Ring again, another guy that got injured to start the year. Uh going to be out week to week. And then Josh Dones looked good. Like Josh Don is one of the positive signs of this team right now. And I do want to bring Sabres fans on to the channel to kind of talk about this. But it’s it’s bad, guys. It is bad. And I just I can’t wrap my head around it. I really can’t. And even the Bernard Docker part of that trade, the Cousins trade, like he could have been used right now. Like I just have so many problems with the decisions that the Savers have made. Um, you know what, the Ryan Mloud one is probably the one where you can look at right now and it’s benefited the Sabres for sure. Like you you got to appreciate what Ryan Mloud brings, but there’s just so many things up and down the Sabres lineup. Injuries are out of the control of obviously management and the team. So like you can’t be mad at the team for that scenario, but Josh Norris, I don’t know what the Sabres were thinking and I and I now it looks even worse that he’s going to be out for weeks to months again. like he cannot stay healthy and Dylan Cousins to me a right shot center the skill set he has there could have been some patience there right I understand it’s a tough situation like you look at the Sam Reinhardt trade you look at different trades like the value sometimes is just tough to get for guys that are in a bad situation that want out that are underwhelming but you just know they’re going to go to a different team and end up being great or be good and Cousins is going to stay healthy and Norris is not and there just won’t be a comparison for at. So, like you look on Puck Pedia, it’s it’s all people are talking about the Buffalo Sabres trades and Tae Thompson. For me, guys, I think we’re going to talk about Tae Thompson potentially being dealt at some point if it continues down this road. Of course, it can be turned around. Uh, but I think between Taage and Alex Tuck, there’s a likely scenario one of those guys are gone. Uh, I just don’t think you’re trading Raspus down lean. I think it would be an outright crazy bidding war and I think Sabres fans would completely give up on this team for good if they traded another franchise generational talent after the Eel situation. The Eel situation is very different because of the medical stuff and all that, but you cannot have a scenario where you lose Raspian or have to move Raspian. You just can’t. You make the guy happy. You do whatever you can to keep that guy for a saber for life. It’s just very simple. So, Tage and Tuck, as great as those players are, if you can get a hall for both those players, if the season’s going completely sideways, it it’s something you consider because at this point, those two guys are not generational forward talents. And if the Sabres in any capacity could get a shot at getting a Gavin McKenna, yeah, that’s pretty legit. That would be pretty legit. So, uh, we’ll see what happens here with the Sabres, but these are some of the trades I’m already seeing like Alex Tuck potentially to like Colorado and Carolina. Those teams make a lot of sense for me. Uh, but again, to me, you’d have to get multiple first round picks. You’d have to get a couple legit prospects. And then you flip those pieces hopefully at some point, but I know Savers fans have talked about like they don’t want prospects. They don’t want picks. It’s going to be a tough situation with Alex Tuck because Tuck either wants to be in Buffalo or he doesn’t. Like to me, it’s beyond there’s no conversation of like success or conversation of like just a great team. If the Sabres turn it around, maybe they become a playoff team. Maybe. I don’t know. I mean, they have the skill on their team if they if they can get healthy. Uh but yeah, with these injuries to start the year, it’s going to go worse sooner than than it could go better. So, um the Tuck and Ta Thompson situation is going to be very very fascinating for me. And but frankly, I just feel bad for Sabres fans and I want to get my ri my buddy Riley and like a few other guys that are from Buffalo or just Sabres fans on this channel and just speak like I want to hear their voice. So whether it’s a live stream and I just bring them in or record videos. So if you guys have thoughts on that, give it in the comments. But um that’s my thoughts right now. Like I’m going to talk maybe more trade specific, but I just kind of wanted to go over what’s happening here. 0 and three only have scored two goals, massive injuries. Like when you’re talking about like I said, Benson Power, Kesslering, Lucadin, like there’s some major major injuries here. They’re not small. And then now Josh Norris add him to the list and I’m probably forgetting a couple more, right? So anyways guys, let me know your thoughts on the Sabres and uh the situation that we’re seeing right now. Uh we’ll see what it looks like after uh this next week. So like for me, the Sanders Sabres game, I guess we can evaluate after that, but very much more so uh after the Saturday game against the Panthers at home. Like there’s two games coming up in Buffalo, right? So, if they really finish this home stand in in a rough way and they don’t get a win out of it, like one of these two games, if they don’t get a win, uh yeah, 0 and5 would be a really really really bad look.
