What would’ve happened if for whatever reason Muncy just left the base paths and started walking back to the dugout?
I am an overseas very fresh baseball enthusiast. I think you do send Snell back out there. you’re up by 2, worst case he gives up a home run and then you pull him. Which seemed very unlikely.
If the closer comes in when the other obviously is trending down, they have more courage imo. But Roki was basically sent out there and the mission was you can only fuck up all the work Snell did.
In General I don’t understand when you take out a pitcher before they show signs of fatigue or inaccuracy. Ride them till they show they can’t anymore. and in this case that dude was unreal so I think it was wrong to pull him.
