Chiefs’ Offensive Juggernaut COLLIDES with Battered Secondary | Can Mahomes EXPLOIT the Weakness?

We’re going to get into this. We’re going to talk a lot about this game. Keys to win is going to be a little bit later. We’re going to talk about the Chiefs offensive line and versus the Lions defensive line, which I think is going to be a huge matchup in the in the next segment, but we’re going to start with the CB injuries with the Detroit Lions and how this game is going to start off because that’s one of the biggest storylines in this game. Matt, when you look at how this is going to play out, you were talking about it kind of before we even started the show. This is a huge issue for for Detroit right now. It is, Chris and Ryan. Great to be with you guys. And look, the Lions are playing great football right now. you know, many including uh ESPN and and the herd hierarchy the other day. I had it on my show on Wednesday of the Lions number one. People are power ranking Detroit up to that top spot where of course your Chiefs have been for so long. Uh but right now, I mean, going into this game, you’re facing still facing Mahomes, still facing Travis Kelce and good receivers. The Lions, you know, their top five corners going into training camp in the preseason. Four of the five are out. DJ Reed out for a while with a hamstring. Terion Arnold going to be out at least this week and and probably a few more with a shoulder. And Ra has put on season ending IR at the start of the year. Khil Dorsy now has a a uh an injury uh their fourth corner and he’s going to be out for a little while, four weeks with on the IR. So that leaves Aique Robertson and then anybody’s guess. I mean Rock Yine has played pretty well. Uh they’ve got depth there. There are some guys they like, some young guys, and and they’ve made some moves, but you know, that’s that’s a tough road to talk about this week with Patrick Mahomes and next week with Baker Mayfield without the guys that are that are stopping the guys on the outside. This is still a passing league. Lions pass rush has been really good this year. Hutchinson’s playing unbelievably well, but I would I would think the Chiefs would be kind of picking on some of those corners, maybe just some home run balls down the field, hope for some pass interference or some holding and and and find that as a spot that they can kind of take advantage of. What do you guys think? You know, I think that should be the way to go. I I do see this as an offensive kind of game back and forth. We’ll talk about that a little bit more coming up here. But, uh, on the injury report on Wednesday, the another name in Brian Branch, somebody I didn’t expect to see on there. At this point, is there are there enough bodies in the secondary for them to man be able to run their scheme the way that I think that sometimes they can be very successful at? And with the Chiefs having a wide receiver core that is either banged up, substituted, or trying to find its way, that might be an interesting matchup. Do you think there’s enough bodies in the secondary to really put it out there and be able to play their full game plan? Yeah, I mean I think Branch and Kirby Joseph are going to be fine as far as the safety tandem goes. They’re healthy enough. They’ll be out there and that’s as good a safety tandem as there is in the league. Those guys just do everything. And Branch, I love that you mentioned Ryan is just an absolute stud and a missile out there in terms of against the run, against the pass, doesn’t matter. He’s he’s he’s a special player. So, yeah, I think they’ll be okay. You know, you’re throwing in guys like I said, Rocky has played a lot of football. Avante Maddox has played a lot. Um, you know, Meek Robertson’s been really good, but you know, eventually attrition catches up to you. We saw that with the 2024 Lions. There’s just you hope that that’s it and you hope that uh Arnold is back sooner than you think and DJ Reed’s back sooner than you think. Um, but I think they’ll be all right. It’s just, you know, right now the the way the defense is playing, the linebackers have been unreal and and the the pass rush has been better than expected. And uh like we’ll talk about when we get to the Keys here and Dline O line could be adding Lee McNeel this week um to their defensive line which no one’s talking about. He’s he’s been working out and training and and rehabbing so well that they think he might be able to play. So that’d be a huge huge kind of pickme up for that defensive line which has already played pretty well. Yeah. And you look at that and we’ll talk about the defensive line and the offensive line in just a couple minutes, but you look at how this game is going to play out. It’s kind of surprising to me and one of the things I brought up before we started is the Chiefs are actually favored in this game which with the way that they’ve played doesn’t make sense to me at all because they have played so horribly and and we also you also mentioned this Matt Kansas City kind of needs this game more than Detroit does. Not saying that that should matter but the reality is is Kansas City’s two and three. Going to two and four is going to be really detrimental to anything that they want to do in the postseason. being three and three and then getting Rasheed Rice back the next week would be huge for this team. But the biggest storyline from Kansas City is the inconsistency. Week to week it’s just been so different. Like you you look at week one, the defense couldn’t do anything. Week two, three, and four, their defense was probably the best unit on the team and then the offense started to come alive against the Ravens and then really looked a lot better in week five, but the defense kind of fell apart a little bit towards the end of the game. So, it’s the consistent it’s the inconsistency of this team and things that happened last year. I think they were 11 and0 in one score games. This year, they’re 0 and3. You can’t just have I mean, the amount of flip-flop from what you dealt with last year to what you’re dealing with this year is crazy. And you always revert to the mean, but it’s a lot different than you would expect for Kansas City right now. Chris and Ryan, I gotta ask, and I I’m assuming you guys have talked about this, but like even that last play where Trevor Lawrence falls down and and everybody now has seen the footage of Chris Jones basically just stop playing, which you never see Chris Jones do, but like is that those things never happen to the Chiefs? And I know the national people, oh, the Chiefs get all the calls. You guys got no calls the other night. It was wild. The whistle that that went against you. I I you have to say it. I I know there is this narrative that Kansas City always gets the calls and you went into that Giants game and everyone went there is no way they’re gonna lose on national TV uh and go to 0 and three, but what is it? I mean, why does Chris Jones not why does he just stop on a play like that when he never does that? Is it just one of those years? It’s one of those years where I think everybody has expectations. There’s also the look thing of like no matter what we do, Patrick’s going to bail us out, right? This is this is superstar itis is what I call it because Chris Jones expected other people to make that play. He’s been he’s been a oneman wrecking crew this whole season to this point. He’s not getting a whole lot of support. I’m sure we’ll talk about that coming up here shortly. But it’s too much of expectation and not enough follow through right now. This is a team that has enough experience that they kind of expect things to fall where they’re able to make plays. And that’s not true of the rest of the league. the rest of the league’s like, “You know what? Go prove it. You’re getting old. You have to play every play.” And that’s what’s catching up with them right now. They have to buckle down and really focus on making sure that they execute their game plan the way that they have to to its fullest, not just 90 95%. It’s wild. It’s uh it’s not No one’s used to this. And I know there’s a lot of people that are like, “Great, we need to see somebody new in the Super Bowl representing the AFC.” And obviously it’s it’s pretty wide open. Look, the league is wide open, but uh definitely was a head scratcher. that you guys had that game Monday night. I really did. You were not the only one. I was sitting there watching the game thinking, especially with the way the offense started in the first two drives, it looked like they were just going to run away with that game and it was going to be a two-score at least two-score game at the very end and then all of a sudden uh you know, a couple mistakes happen and they just kind of gave the game away in multiple different ways. When we get back, we’re going to talk about the Chiefs offensive line and the defensive line and some other key matchups in this Sunday night showdown. Chiefs versus Lions when we get back from this. Locked on Chiefs, locked on Lions. getting down into the matchups that are really going to make this game go. Matt, I will give it to you when we look at the first matchup. What do you want to throw out there? Well, yeah. You know, you guys have it up on the screen, too, for those watching on uh our YouTube channels. I I do believe that that O line Dline matchup is going to be interesting. You know, uh obviously you guys for years have had this really good offensive line. I love your center. I think he’s the best there is out there. I thought really this would have been a matchup if Rank Ragnau had not retired of the two best centers. Not that they go up against each other, but in the league and Humphrey and Ragnow and Frank of course has retired. Graham Glascow has done a nice job at center, but you got a special one there. But did see it the other night kind of at times. Mahomes not having the time to throw that he wanted. And the Lions Dline, which everybody was worried about coming into the season, who’s going to be the edge opposite of Aiden Hudson? Oh no. Uh Lee McNeel won’t start the year healthy. Levi owner lost for the year. Not a lot of depth interior-wise on that Dline yet. Uh the rookie Tyreek Williams is playing really well. DJ Reer is playing at a high level and they’re getting a lot of pressure. Second and sacks in the league. Hutchinson, Aiden Hutchinson’s been unreal. Um so so good. And um so it should be interesting to see if they can get to Mahomes or at least bother him because remember it was just a couple of weeks ago everybody went the Lions going to get to Lamar Jackson and they sacked him seven times. So something to keep an eye on certainly is that matchup. If the Lions Dline can win up front, it could be a long night for Kansas City. This is why you got to play the games. And I think the thing that impresses me the most, I think they are third in this metric. 38.5 success rate allowed on the defensive side. So, it’s not just the pressure, it’s the fact that they’re playing as a unit. Obviously, we talked about what may be troublesome, but for the Chiefs to try to attack this team, is it one edge opposite Hudson that they have to go after? Is it trying to get to the second level? If you were going to flip it over and try to attack your own defense, where would you go? Well, I mean, you know, it’s interesting. The Lions at times, it hasn’t been consistent this year. Like Mark Andrews had a decent night against them. I’m I’m trying to find Travis Kelce and some one-on-one opportunities. Uh, I know it’s not the same Travis. Uh, no, I’m not going to tell any Taylor Swift jokes or anything because that’s played out, too. But I I do believe that, you know, you got to take some shots down the field against the corners. If Terry Arnold were healthy, I would tell you there’s always, especially in the first drive of the game that the Lions are playing defensively, there’s always a Terry Arnold hold or a PI. Um, now if it’s Rocky, you maybe look up and go, all right, we got to go after number 20 23 out there and see what he can do. Uh, but I also think that Kelsey at times could could get free in this game. um if he’s matt the Lions linebackers have played great like I said but uh you know scheme wise at times they can give up some plays to the tight end so that’s where I would go. Tell me you guys on the Chie line what’s what’s the biggest concern right now? That’s a great question. I honestly uh maybe penalties uh the right tackle what was that Ryan lining up right? I don’t know. Yeah, we got a right tackle that doesn’t seem to understand where the back field is, but other than that, it’s fine. Honestly though, that actually, thank you for asking that question because that’s exactly what I wanted to talk about a little bit. Uh, when looking at this Chief’s offensive line, the big question going into this season was, have they found their left tackle? And while, don’t get me wrong, Aiden Hudson is a fantastic player, that could be a fun matchup if he goes up against Josh Simmons. And I’m not saying he’s not going to beat Josh Simmons. He’s a rookie. Rookies are going to learn. You’re going to have some bad nights, but Josh Simmons has looked better every single week. And that’s the big thing for this Chiefs team is can he be continue to be consistent? Can he continue to give Mahomes time? And will Mahomes continue to trust him? Because one of the things you talked about is testing the corners and going deep. Well, you’re not going to do that if you can’t block and and you can’t give your quarterback time to do that. So, I do think that that’s going to be something that the Chiefs could really try to take advantage of when you talk about being down to your to one of your top five corners at this point in in the season already. Uh, throw some deep shots. You have Xavier Worthy. You have three guys that can run under four or three. Take advantage of that. Use that to your advantage. And when it comes to the offensive line and where they’re struggling right now, I think it’s it is lining up. is sometimes the penalties, but the reality is is that they’re playing so much better than they were last year that I don’t think it’s as big of an issue. And I do think that they’re in a situation where Mahomes is finally starting to trust the offensive line and this offense is going to start taking off when you get a guy like Rasheed Rice back in week seven. What about St. Brown against McDuffy? I I think that’d be fun to watch. Uh, I don’t know how much they’ll be matched up if it’s the entire game if he just follows number 14 around, but it’s a damn good corner you got there and uh made some really nice plays the other night. I I know. And um but Aman RA has just been unbelievable. I know he was in the same draft class as a guy like Jamar Chase and they talked about on the Fox broadcast this past Sunday, Lions and Bengals and how Jamar and Pane Su that the Bengals were choosing between one of the two. They went with Chase. Lions got their guy in Su who is as good a right tackle as there is in the game and that would be fun too to watch Su and Chris Jones go at it. But I think St. Brown versus McDuffy is something to watch too. I’m excited to see how that one goes. Yeah, I think the area of the field is really intriguing as well because Leaport is starting to get cooking now, right? What was it? Five first six targets last week. So you have that middle section that you feel like they can maybe attack. The Chiefs linebackers have been a little bit suspect at time particularly in dropping backwards. So I expect them to do that. They’re going to have a lot of safeties roaming out there and we’re going to see the rotation whatever it becomes because they can’t run the same three safety set yet this season. It’s always different. So, we don’t even know. But the attack there, I think, is what’s most intriguing to me. And I do I I would feel bad if I didn’t mention the fact that this is a family affair as well with Su and Suya both playing. I I think maybe there’s a little bit of rivalry. Like I the emotion of that kind of game I think is what maybe the Chiefs have a slight advantage just because they’ve been in emotional games before. Their backs are against the wall. But do you think that the experiences SU brings maybe might balance out what uh what the younger cousin brings? Pane, I don’t care if his family across the way. I don’t care if it’s Mean Joe Green got reincarnated and got traded to the Chiefs for one week or like two Tall Jones or Reggie White. I mean, I don’t know where I came up with two Tall Jones, but you know what I mean. Like, it’s just you could bring anybody back and say, I want to see him play against Ben Penul is unreal. And I know we did our list this summer on lockdown in the top 100 players and this dude is he’s top 10 in the league. I mean, it’s and maybe top five. he’s that good and is, you know, he’s just so damn good out there that I don’t care who he’s going against and what the situation is. You don’t worry about right tackle. Uh, uh, Sunday night, I’m worried about left tackle because if Taylor Decker is not healthy and this will likely come down to a game time thing, uh, I would think he didn’t play last week. He’s been bothered by his shoulder. They started the rookie Giovani Manu last week or secondyear guy and Manu really was kind of red shirted last year. Trey Hendendrickson went around him twice for for for big-time hits uh on Jared Goff. Dan Skipper is a possibility coming back to kind of be a veteran that could plug and play. So, you’re looking at three options right now as you as we record here on Thursday uh at left tackle. So, that could be something to keep an eye on. It’s going to be fascinating to see how that plays out if Decker is able to go. Uh because Chris Chris Jones can line up anywhere on the defensive line. He is lined up at defensive end. He’s lined up at def defensive tackle. Just depends on where he feels like he has the best matchup. So that could be fun. I expect that at some point we’ll see Chris Jones against Pane Su. That’s going to be a fun matchup. I thousand% agree with you on that one. You know, really when I look at this game, it’s it’s a matter of which team, and this goes back to the consistency that we talked about in the first segment, which team for the Chief shows up because if their offense shows up, I feel decent about how this game can go. But that’s going to be the question. Is their offense going to show up? Because the defense is going to struggle just with the matchup that they have with the Detroit Lions because this offense is something to be worried about uh no matter who is playing at that left tackle position. and Jared Goff has been playing fantastic and as you said Alman Ross St. Brown has been playing great as well. And I just, you know, I watched you guys the other the other night obviously and it’s like like Buter kicks the kickoff out of bounds. Like there’s just things that you the Chiefs never did for years and and and that was just a glaring mistake. And like you said, Jones giving up on the play. There’s just little things that is that a lot of what this is right now or is is there is there times you go maybe the talent level is not what it’s been? Tough to say that the talent level isn’t there. They’ve drafted well. They’re getting good production. The injury thing, you could call it at the wide receiver position, but the rest is is more lack of depth and I think overstressing some of the stars now that are getting up there like Chris Jones. I think there’s still just a shock value to this. The more that this quote unquote regime has gone on with Andy Reid, the slower the starts are year after year after year, they’re just not getting into gear until later in the season. I think this is more of the same to tell you the truth. And it comes down to who’s going to punch you in the face and wake you up. And I think that may have just happened to them giving up this game to the Jaguars. I think unfortunately the Lions might reap the the negative benefits of that uh with waking the Chiefs up from a sleeping giant. Were you guys h were you guys at least happy for T- Wig or or were you like no way because he’s the best. You got to love Tone. I mean Yeah. Like you know can you can you lob a text and go hey man good win cuz you know a lot of No, I couldn’t because of the way that they lost. I’m just going to be honest. If like if if I didn’t feel like and this isn’t against what the Jaguars did, they went out and they did what they had to do to win, but I still I still feel like the Chiefs left three or four plays on the field that if they make any of them completely changed the way that game goes. And I know you can say that in just about all the games, but they literally the pick six, that’s 14 point swing. the dropped interception by Nick Bolton and Drew Tranquil as it went off four people’s hands. That’s another turnover that leads to a Jacksonville touchdown. I mean, the Jacksonville Jaguars did enough to win, but man, Kansas City really beat themselves in a lot of ways in that game. No question about it. No, I think that’s why that the Chiefs are favored. I I think people expect especially at home and a couple years ago everybody said the Lions have no chance in Kansas City and it’s opening night and you know we know how that we know how that one went. Uh you know asterisk win or not it was a win for the Lions. Yes it was and Chris Jones was sitting in in the booth at that or in uh the up in the stands at that point for that game. Lot more to talk about when we start getting into the keys for the win coming right after this. Let’s get down into it right now. Matt, what do you think is one of the biggest keys for this Lions team to pull off a victory again in Kansas City? You know, this is kind of crazy, but the the Lions punter, Jack Fox, has been tremendous and has pinned teams deep. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens uh throughout that day. Um had long fields this past week with the Bengals and that was Jake Browning and we know how that turned out. Uh he’s being replaced by Joe Flacco. But regardless uh pin deep, Lions had a safety this past week. Should have had two. Fox has flipped the field uh tremendously over the last few weeks. One of the reasons why this team has won four in a row. So, their defense has been put in spots where, you know, it’s it’s a little simple thing here, but on the road, you get a bad punt or you get uh uh uh Dan Campbell deciding to go for it from his own 35 or something and you don’t get short fields for the Chiefs, I think, are are gifts for for Patrick and that offense. So, I I think the Lions key is to make the Chiefs go 90 yards, make the Chiefs go 80 yards. And I know things are different now with kickoff rules and everything, but I think that’s a big key for the Lions is to kind of make Kansas City play play the long game throughout the night. This is a tough one for the Chiefs because they have to do what they haven’t been able to do. Job number one is to pressure the quarterback. That’s it. He’s got the second lowest scramble rate in this league. He is somebody that you can actually move off the spot and attack. The Chiefs just haven’t been able to do it. So whether they have to bring five, they brought a lot of linebackers last week, still wasn’t that effectual. They have to come up with something that isn’t a cover zero blitz because that seems to be the only thing that specs can get actually executed on the on the night and they have to find a way to find that crease and just blow it apart. They are too soft in not exploiting something that is a weakness. They have to find that. Uh more from us tomorrow on what I think that it is. But this is about attacking and consistently making somebody stop you to the point that maybe they can even lower the their EPA on the run. Uh, I’m really surprised to find that the, correct me if I’m wrong, the Lions are only averaging 15 yards more per game on the ground than the Chiefs are. That’s pretty rare here. So, if you force him into having to run the ball a little bit more, I think that works in the Chief’s advantage. Let me ask you this. You mentioned Spags. Uh, more blitzing, less blitzing this year so far than the past. It’s been dramatically upticked in the beginning. And it’s it’s not even so much the volume, it’s the variety. things that he usually doesn’t pull out until after the buy or even going into the playoff run. Now he’s having to to mix it up so much earlier. It’s going to get creative. It’s going to look very weird. So keep an eye on the middle of the secondary there because you never know who’s going to be manning what position. Yeah, I mean that’s where you know Jared Goff and and again with Ragnau gone, I still think Glascow as a veteran center is pointing some things out, but that’s where you’re right. You know, Brian Flores has tried for years and and he’s done a nice job of the Vikings, don’t get me wrong, but G seems to have that those guys numbers whenever that’s like he’ll see something coming and he gets rid of the ball. You’re right. If you can get to him or you get in his face, uh it’s it’s gold. He just is not going to scramble. He was sacked four times this past week, but man, does he pick up those things pretty quickly and finds those outlets. And if he hits Gibbs in the flat, the blitzes come, look out. you know, Jir could turn a a 10- yard play into a 70 yard play. So, what else you guys thinking on the on the Chief side for Keys? You know, I I loved what you were talking about with Jack Fox. I was sitting there thinking former Chief Jack Fox uh because he was in Kansas City for a little bit of time. Uh I agree. I think, you know, blitzing golf is going to be interesting and I’m going to be curious to see if it happens because they didn’t blitz. They blitzed Lawrence a little bit, but not near as much as I expected. But the bigger thing with golf and it’s a question of, you know, you get him off the point, uh, he’s not going to be a guy that scrambles like Lamar Jackson the week before or Trevor Lawrence. So that that could be huge in this game. When I look at this and I just think that it’s a matter of Kansas City controlling the ball and controlling the clock. I’m not going to say that they have to run the ball, you know, 30 times, but I think that they need to run the ball 20 to 25 times. And I know Ryan is probably going to be sitting there going, “Please let that happen.” Uh, but the the reality is is look at what the Detroit Lions do. Their offense scores and they usually they can score pretty quick. So, it’s a matter of controlling the ball, controlling the tempo a little bit. And the one thing I will say about Kansas City is the two games, two of the three games that they’ve lost this year have been caused by directly by a horrible turnover. They’ve been very good with the football otherwise. That is a huge key. If they can win the turnover battle against the Lions and force them into a mistake where, you know, they get a short field or just, you know, the Lions lose a possession. I think that’s huge in this game. Yeah. I’ll throw another thing out there as far as a key. Um, his name has not been called a lot and maybe Sunday night prime time NBC, he breaks out. That’s Jameson Williams. Uh, I think teams are taking the deep ball away. They’re taking the the home run ball away. He and Golf have just not been on the same page. Uh, there’s no relationship problems there. JMO has been awesome again on the run uh in the run game blocking and he’s just picked up his he’s as good a re blocking receiver as there is and you got to block to play in this offense. But just hasn’t gotten going at all. If you look at his numbers, you’re you’re shaking your head like what’s going on here. He had two fantasy points this past week. So, um, J Mo on a deep ball or a reverse something where he can get out in space, he’s dying to touch the ball. And that has not happened yet. So, maybe that’s a key is that if he gets going, then that this could really go to another level with this offense because, as you guys said, it’s been pretty good this year. Real good. And the corner that gets to guard him is going to be interested. I will say that. One more bonus from me, too, is it’s about the red zone. the Chiefs uh running a middle to grade 14th in red zone efficiency, but the Lions giving up number 25 on the defensive red zone efficiency. So, if you can get inside the 20, you got to make it pay. That’s a key for the Chiefs. Yeah, the Lions defense, you know, week one was really bad and and excuse some of the numbers because that was an abominable performance against Green Bay, but since it’s just been, you know, Lions going back to being what they’ve been the last few years and they put up over 34 points these last four games and there was always some sidebar with each game. The whether it was the Ben Johnson return or obviously the night game in Baltimore um on Monday night. Uh they really wanted that one. um you know in this past Sunday you had David Montgomery going back to Cincinnati and DJ Reer. So there’s been storylines everywhere but this one will be this one will be a lot of fun because like we said I mean Kansas City needs this game. Not to say the Lions don’t um they want to win every game. I don’t think anybody thought at this point of the year with how tough the schedule was that the Lions would be four- one. I think the even the even the slappies would have said three and two. Um, so the Lions are giving their fans a little bonus right now and this would be some kind of win to win against a desperate Chiefs team on the road. This would be something else. Yeah. And I do think that one of the biggest matchups in this game is the Detroit Lions offense versus this Chiefs off this Chiefs defense because you look at what they did to the Baltimore Ravens who had one of the best offenses in the in football before uh they played the Chiefs and they’ve struggled with Lamar Jackson being out and and they slowed down uh they were able to slow down and stop Derrick Henry. that could lead to a big chance for Kansas City to win this game if they can find a way to slow this Lions offense down that’s tremendous and has a lot of good players and a lot of different ways that they can beat you. Really going to be a lot of fun to watch this game. Cannot wait. Matt, you got anything else you want to add? I don’t, you know, I was thinking predictions, but I’m still It’s terrible to say, but I’m I really am on the fence. Obviously, I could see the Lions winning because they played so well, but I just have a hard time picking against Kansas City in a game they have got to get. And are they really going to lose back-to-back, you know, prime time games, a Monday nighter and a Sunday nighter? That’s I know how Mahomes operates. I know you guys, they always seem to find a way. So, that scares me a little bit. My prediction is there’ll be no tie. Oh jeez. We Yeah, we we did already have one earlier in the year, right? So, yeah, I don’t think it’s going to be 40 to 40, but the Lions can score 40 and probably the Chiefs could probably score 402 if uh well, especially if they get their the wide receivers going on deep balls against these corners, so that’ll be a lot of fun to watch. Cannot wait. Thank you all for listening. We really appreciate it. We will be covering this a lot more in detail on Friday’s show, giving you the game day previews for this game. Thank you, Matt, so much Matt. Really appreciate having you. And that will be it for us today. And we will talk to you all tomorrow.

my favorite show! I know the Chiefs are capable but…. IDK but PLEASE W
The Chiefs aren’t a super team
Let’s be honest
They aren’t
If this was an NBA Comp
Golden State comes to mind
Multiple championships
Star players who are now older
They need to get younger if they want to keep winning 🏆
The Chiefs need to give Nohl Williams more snaps
The Chiefs offense was good to me it was the penalties and lack of focus
The Chiefs had 13 penalties
4:52 Wrong. Standard home field advantage worths 3 points. Favored only by 1.5 points mean the Chiefs are actually "HOME DOGS".
Chiefs have to watch out for the 2 headed monsters Gibbs and Montgomery
6:03 *regress
Lions 42 – Chiefs 6
This narrative that our secondary is ass with amik and rock back there will be tested
I call BS to Jones never quits on a play. I see every single game. Every game.
Titling the chiefs offense a juggernaught is a little misleading at this point and calling Chris Jones a game wrecker when the dude has 1 sack in 5 games is like trying to put lipstick on a pig.
I don't know about this game??? Both teams could win and the Chiefs have got to put a full game together for an hour long. I have to go with the Chiefs because I'm a homer LOL Score heck if I know but if the loins put up 30 or more it will be hard for the Chiefs to this point. If the Lions put up 40 I don't think the Chiefs can keep up right now unless more then Mahomes plays out of there minds. GO CHIEFS!!
Goff has the best completion percentage against the blitz this year.
