Tua Tagovailoa and Mike McDaniel differ on player-only meetings 😬 #NFL #Dolphins

I think it starts with the leadership in in helping articulate that for the guys and then what we’re expecting out of the guys right we’re expecting this are we getting that are we not getting that we have guys showing up to only player only meetings late guys not showing up to player only me only meet there there’s a lot that goes into that do we have to make this mandatory do we not have to make this mandatory so so it it’s it’s a lot of uh it’s a lot of things of of that nature said shortly that some players have not been going to players only curious how aware you were that something that you’re worried about any kind of fracturing lock guys not buying in whatever the case may no um so yeah I didn’t uh playerled meetings are um extra things outside of you know what I what I demand we’ve we’ve been very accountable to me um it sounds like uh there something on his mind with regard to um the specific meetings with a couple individuals that he was trying to get corrected by being with direct communication. So, um you know, I I think that’s that’s uh the only way to lead um as far as uh where we’ve been at as a program. I think um you know we’ve we’ve opened the air on all all of that and it’s very um clear what our what our uh uh how we hold people accountable and you know where where my um what’s non-negotiable uh with all those things. So um it clearly he’s uh sending a message. Um but from my standpoint um you know the the every everything that um I’ve asked of uh asked of the guys, they have delivered on.

  11. talking about players being late to player only meetings is a knock against the leaders of the team who play and organized the meeting not the coaches they didn't know it was organized. tua throwing teammates under the bus.

  12. Tua is over rated since his first yr as a pro. Since he can’t run and will not run any defense only need to concentrate on pass and back runs. Please tell me everyone can see he can’t throw like he used. Tua has no arm past 25yds. All his long throws just float. As for his inceptions they aren’t great defense plays, he throws them right to the other jersey’s numbers. Then there is unworthy leader that blames others when he turns the ball over three times and falls to the turf 5yds before a tackler gets near. Ross makes money regardless of winning or losing. Losing might even be more lucrative as tax write offs. Ross has no interest in football.

    How many interceptions has McDaniels thrown in the last 4 games? If the answer is zero, he's not the problem.

    Why would the coach be involved in the Player ONLY meetings? Player ONLY is that…. players ONLY.

    You guys want it both ways. Is it a players only or players and coaches? Because players and coaches is just a meeting.

  33. All these guys are worried about is their $$$$$$$$$’s. They see stupid people buying their jerseys and wearing them proudly for team sprit, but there are only a couple players who put forth enough effort to earn the money they are making. Have nobody show up at the stadium next game and I bet things change. Our season is practically done and meaningless so why go.

  35. How fast does Mike rip off his Dolphins stuff and switch glasses so he looks like anyone else when he leaves the campus? Just goes incognito ASAP. Where will he go when fired?

  37. Please keep McDaniel, I'm really enjoying his press conferences. I also enjoy the fact that he doesn't seem to be a leader of men, which some might say is important quality for a HC to have. Keep going, Mikey, you're the best.
