I’ll eat the downvotes but I’m just gonna say it: his tackling worries me. These are the highlights and still in many he needs assistance in getting the ball carrier down and he’s not wrapping up. He has one perfect one at 0:52 where he throws Thomas Jr. to the ground (hell yes) but generally when he’s one-on-one with a ball carrier in the open field I kinda just pray he can slow it down until another player finishes the play, and so far he’s done that.
That said: The athleticsm is definitely translating and he’s learning the system well; he really seems to be able to follow his assignment but identify when to switch off and attack. Hopeful to see him become a Hawk legend!
When Spoon and him are on the same field at the same time, its gonna be fun to watch
Being coached by Mike and the rest of this coaching staff is going to be great. He has all the potential to be one of the best DB’s in the league and I think he can reach that potential with Macdonald.
Obviously nothing is guaranteed, but I do think this kid can be special. He just has to stay healthy and the sky’s the limit. Once our secondary can (hopefully) get healthy, I think we’re finally going to see the defense Mike’s been wanting to run.
I remember he made some nice stops in important situations, but I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the box score – 9 tackles (6 solo, 1 TFL)!!
Crazy excited for the mans
Just fast forward a couple years and imagine him and spoon back there.
Jesus that closing speed

Crazy how fast he can back pedal
I was listening to the radio call on this game and felt like I was constantly hearing his name. Dude is making plays. Hope he can get healthy.
Damn. He gets compared to Kam. He looks like Kenny Easley to me if his tackling improves.
