Son of a Mitch!
I mean we’d be 5-1 If Denver didn’t have a literal last second penalty. 5-1 is the best in the conference I’ll take itv
Colts have the 4th scoring D as well
I’m really excited to AD’s redemption arc. I think he has a few more weeks on the bench though
Trey Hendrickson, por favor
“Fumble”
Let’s just pump the brakes and see how they fare against some elite-ish teams and play the divisional teams a second time before we start the fireworks.
If we can put points on the board against Chargers, then everyone should stop talking smack that Colts wouldn’t be able to put points on the board against good teams. They already did against Denver
That fumble is going to follow him around for the rest of his career, mark my words.
The humilation is just going to get stronger and stronger until we finally lose a game on our own merits. By all accounts we should at 6-0 and he is the singular reason why we arent
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but AD didn’t lose us that game. AD had that 1 turnover, but DJ had 3. I’d even say it’s on our o-line for not blocking Verse on the final drive. AD also didn’t wipe points off the board with a holding penalty. He caused a TD by holding. If he didn’t hold, then there wasn’t a TD to begin with. He had a bad few plays, one being a cardinal sin, but he wasn’t even the worst player on the field. That would be Howard who got TORCHED by Nakua so bad he had to retire. Lets also not forget the defense having 10 players on the field and let them get the game winning TD. Thats not ADs fault.
As much as I love the start, I look at the quality of defenses the team has played so far and the records of those teams. They’ll be facing much better offenses and QBs as well coming up. Just looking at the schedule, you have Herbert, Ward again (who is still dangerous), Penix, Mahomes, Stroud twice, Lawrence twice (Can they win in Jacksonville?), Sam Darnold (last seasons Daniel Jones), and Brock Purdy (Super Bowl QB). It’s going to be tough, but it’s fun to enjoy the ride.
