2025-26 Season Hype | Reloaded
You know, there was a job there that we didn’t finish. Pisses me off every time I wake up. But it’s a bit of anger, disappointment, but uh also a lot of drive. This is going to be harder summer than the ones prior. Time to maybe look yourself in the mirror. I really took it personal and and you’re just hungry to go back on the ice and work on things. You want to be the best, you better learn from the best. And that’s what I’ve been trying to do. This year we’re looking forward to a fresh start with these guys. Can’t wait to get going. Win as many games as we can this year, next year, every year. I love it. What drives us is trying to win a championship. When you walk in in training camp, they’re not here to get through the season and hopefully make playoffs. This is different. The Tampa Bay Lightning are a team that needs to be in the playoffs and that’s there’s no other if ends or buts about it. All right, work at it. All right, let’s go here, boys. Don’t look in the rearview mirror. Look out the windshield and see what’s ahead of us. Yeah, boy. It’s what you’ve been waiting for. Just excited to get it going again. That energy, the crowd, the the beginning of hockey season, who’s not going to be intimidated by the moment, who’s going to be assertive, who’s going to step up and compete. A lot of preparation, a lot of hard work, a lot of sacrifice, a lot of excitement built up. Exciting to get back and play in this building. a new year, new goals, a new standard. [Music] Focus on getting our game to an even higher level. Every year is an opportunity to to make something great. And you know, that’s all the motivation I need. You want to be the best, you have to the best. The goal is to make the playoffs. You ask me that question again once we punch our playoff ticket, then the answer will change.
