Chicago Cubs Eliminated! Reds Fan Reaction: Welcome to Cancun! 🌴

Chicago Cubs, welcome to Cancun. Join us in Cancun. Please join us. I’m very, very happy. Congrats to the Milwaukee Brewers. Um, I didn’t really have a huge preference of who won this series because it’s two division rivals and I really don’t I just can’t pull for a division rival. That’s just me. I’ve never pulled for division rivals, unless like maybe they play another division rival like this, but yeah, I uh definitely dislike the Cubs more than I dislike the Brewers. Um their fans are just very very toxic and um no fan base deserves to see their team eliminated more than Chicago Cubs. Um, but you know, everybody everybody in the Cubs organization, everybody on the Cubs, you know, um, fan base is going to just point to that 2016 trophy and use that as an excuse for why they don’t have to win for another 108 years. It’s already 9 years, so you got 99 more years to go in the drought. Uh, but it’s great to see this feudal, pathetic fan base just get what they deserve. I mean, you were talking about, you know, selling out Milwaukee um in the in the playoffs and then your fan base just doesn’t show up. Your fan base didn’t show up. Brewer fans didn’t want forget Brewer fans not wanting to sell the ticket to Cubs fans. You just couldn’t bring the energy to game five. I really didn’t hear a lot of noise when the Cubs got their lone run. And you know, um let’s talk about that pathetic crybaby PCA. This dude hits a grand slam in the game that I was at. By the way, by the way, Cubs fans, the absolute worst people to be around. And yeah, I can bag on, you can say I’m bagging on them cuz they lost and whatnot. No, they are legit some of the worst people to be around at a game. They make the experience so miserable in Cincinnati. And it’s just so great to see like this dude when he when he when when uh the Brewers got that home run, there was nothing he could do about it on that catch, but he still threw a temper tantrum like he did in every single at bat that he cried. He just dropped his bat, slammed the bat um like a little like baby. Um but you know, that’s just uh who he is and that’s just what Cubs fans just got to, you know, realize that this is just who PCA is. He’s just a you know, a loser um when when things don’t go well and he’s just a front runner when things do go well. So um you can enjoy him, enjoy, you know, his you know, he’s a great center fielder. I’ll give him that. But at the end of the day, he’s just has very poor attitude, and I just think that’s going to come back to cost the culture of the Chicago Cubs. So, yeah, continuously choking in the playoffs, getting one breakthrough year where you claimed that you were going to be a dynasty after that one, you know, title that you got for the first time in 108 years. Uh, but you guys just flamed out in 2017, 2018, didn’t make it back until 2020. And then, you know, obviously you got swept by the Miami Marlins, and then the last three years have been pathetic. Um, but you can point to like saying, “Oh, but you’re why are you talking? The Reds didn’t make the the Reds didn’t get past the first round either, and you guys didn’t make the playoffs since 2020 either.” See, here’s the difference. We don’t We’re not expected to do anything. I mean, no one expects the Reds to do anything. And, you know, we I would say we uh I would say just based on the expectations that we had, I some might say that we overachieved and we even swept you guys in a four game series. So, you can talk about how we didn’t, you know, exceed expectations. we still whooped your ass this year. So, you know, you can just keep on um riding off that 2016 title because uh that’s going to just, you know, I’m not going to lie, that’s a great comeback, great year, but that’s just something that you’re just going to have to milk because I just don’t see you breaking through anytime soon, man. And um at the end of the day, man, Cubs fans, like I said, they are just very feudal, very pathetic. There’s a bar in Cincinnati. I think it’s like I mean, they they say like Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs. just an eyesore to see in Cincinnati, by the way. Uh but yeah, the Cubs bandwagon whenever they’re in Cincinnati, um I get mad at my own fan base because I just don’t like seeing that team take over. Um it’s just not not not a pleasant sight. But at the end of the day, man, the Cubs uh they they they they show up when things are going well, and when it’s not going well, it’s a it’s not as big of a turnout. I’m not saying like, you know, you know, I’ll be the first to say rides fans also do the same thing. But at the end of the day, man, we’re there when we’re there and we don’t, you know, we’re not obnoxious when we’re there. So, I think Cubs fans, you can start that let’s go Cubbies chant when you’re up like six runs, but when you’re down six, it’s just crickets, crickets, crickets. So, um, yeah, at the end of the day, you lost to your biggest rival. I mean, you’ve taunted them and I I I taunt the Brewers, too, when when, you know, the we talk about how many rings they have and whatnot. Um, I don’t I’m not saying I I don’t want them to win the ring this year by any stretch, but, you know, if they if they do, they’re they’re not going to rub it in Reds fans face. The first people they’re going to rub it in is Cubs fans faces, Cardinals fans even. So, I mean, you better hope that the Dodgers get it done. Otherwise, the Brewers fan base is going to be all over you. All over you. You guys deserve to see it happen, though. I’m not going to lie. I hope I hope it doesn’t happen, but you your fan base definitely deserves to see it happen. So, yeah, kudos to the Milwaukee Brewers, though. At the end of the day, they are a division rival, so I’m not going to say I’m pulling for them. Um, but it is kind of a win-win when you look at it. On one side, a division rival does lose, but on the other side, if the Brewers somehow do win, then I mean, you’re tech I mean, in a way, you’re avenging the Reds because the Dodgers obviously beat the crap out of us in the playoffs. So, whatever happens, it happens, man. Um, but we got four teams that I honestly I mean, I wouldn’t really I mean, for me, the big no nos, man. Especially the St. Louis Cardinals. Like, that that’s the one team I just like I I would not want to see win the World Series. Um, but, you know, if these four teams win, it’s like, yeah, whatever. Um, but, you know, good luck to the Brewers. Uh, congrats on beating the Chicago Cubs. Uh, thank you in a way for beating the Chicago Cubs because I can’t I don’t like the Cubs at all. Um, but you know, again, Brewers are division rivals, so I mean, not exactly happy seeing them go to the NLCS, but we’ll see what happens in the NLCS, man. Dodgers are obviously the defending champs and they have every reason to be the favorite, I guess, quote unquote, but Brewers are still a good team, and you saw that in the regular season. They were six and0 against them. So, playoffs are obviously a different game, but we’ll see what happens. Um, but you know, one thing I one thing I I want to know from Cubs fans is uh how does it feel like for the 116th time in 117 years, um, you don’t win the World Series, which is just it’s just laughable. And and and remember, man, Choke is the official drink of the Chicago Cubs. Just a quick sponsor update. And, uh, you know, from all of Red’s country, five beats three. And yeah, you just got to live with that. So, join us on the couch in uh in Cancun. We’ll uh we’ll book your reservations as did the Brewers today. And uh yeah, good luck next season. And uh Reds country, the Chicago Cubs are eliminated. You guys have a good one, man.

The Chicago Cubs have been eliminated by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2025 NLDS, and as a Cincinnati Reds fan, I couldn’t be happier. I talk about the series, Cubs fans, and what it was like seeing two NL Central rivals going at it. Congrats to Milwaukee on moving on, and enjoy Cancun, Cubs.
