How commentators treat Tlaw

  1. The hilarious thing about all the “it’s his fifth year – it’s now or never!” pundits is they’re usually the same pundits who fawn over Mayfield, Darnold or Danny Dimes with no hint of irony.

  2. Yeah, forget the fact that he’s never had consistency in an OC, for the majority of his career he had average at best WRs and NOW his WRs apparently can’t catch a cold.

Can he improve? Yes, of course. Is he ass? Not by a long shot.

  3. Mark Schlereth has really never been a fan of the Jags. Don’t get me wrong, there wasn’t much to like about Sunday’s performance but Schlereth goes a little more over-the-top against the Jags than others.

  4. Ok thank god I wasn’t the only one absolutely annoyed by the commentary, every single Trevor miss was talked about at length by whoever that one commentator was and it pissed me off, didn’t need an entire essay on Trevor after each fucking play

  5. The most annoying one was when the pocket was closing in around Trevor and at the last second he tried to under arm the ball to his RB to salvage the play.

It doesn’t make it there, but it does prevent the snap. And I’m not sure if Trev has the space to try anything else. Anyways Schlareth goes off on Trevor and I just decide to mute the game until the end.

C’mon man, that’s the play you want to criticize him for, THAT one?

  6. dude i couldn’t believe how much schlereth criticized trevor. im not saying that he deserves no criticism but at a certain point you’re just beating a dead horse

  7. I hate Fox so much. Last week was annoying because of all the commercials but at least Aikman was objective. CBS is guilty of this too depending on the color guy, some times it’s just nonstop hate for Trev

  8. Trevor has real issues that we could be talking about, but instead the fans who don’t think he’s an absolute bum have to spend their time defending him against the most low football IQ criticisms.

He’s not a perfect QB. He’s somewhere in that 12-18 ranking depending on the week. Still has issues that most of us hoped he would fix by now, but he’s in year 5 and for the first time ever has an actual front office and coaches to support him. Players, no matter how “generational” they are, still need coaching help to improve. He didn’t get *ANY* coaching under Urban and he got very little under Pederson/Taylor. He’s still young and he’s showing improvement every week. Last week was his best game of 25 despite the loss.

Also, QBs make mistakes. Josh Allen just threw 2 INTs and lost to a pretty mediocre Falcons squad. Every week elite QBs make mental mistakes, throw inaccurate passes, and make boneheaded plays. Trevor does that more often than elites do, but based on his trend line he’s cleaning it up every week and improving.

  9. My favorite part of Sundays game was when the announcers were silent for about 3 minutes while the game went on. It was so nice to only hear the sounds of the game and not these two buffoons blathering on.

  10. Quit being a bunch of bitches you know it’s never gonna go away until he wins

  11. A notably bad broadcast booth last weekend. Bad takes and SO MUCH dead air. Maybe I’m just used to Redzone.

“””someone mentioned possible audio issues. Which explains the mute commentators

  12. This is just a dumb meme about the commentators, I’m not saying Trevor doesn’t have a couple bad overthrows in each game (I’ll still defend him to the death). Thought it was funny that they blamed some OL penalties on him and don’t seem to shred any other QB this hard, other than Caleb Williams
