[Bodner] Nick Nurse was asked whether Joel Embiid could play in the preseason opener on Friday: “I think there’s some chance, yeah. I don’t think we’re there yet.” Nurse says it could go either way depending on how the next few days go.

1. Very good sign, even if he doesn’t play. Looks like he is in a better spot now than he was last year.
