  3. In no way ever in a million years would I risk an injury to my knees for some silly game, it could be world series game 7, 9th inning, I'm moving out of the way a 90mph cannonball that's coming for my knee. It could be career ending for all I know.

  6. How many people making comments here that they would have taken a HBP have been hit by a slider/sweeper thrown by a major league pitcher? So you would deliberately get hit in the knee, maybe miss the remainder of the post season, and possibly require surgery in the off-season. Right.

  11. I mean as upset as I am about this i would have really loved to see him choke up and protect the plate but at the same time i cant be mad that he went down swinging atleast. All these dudes try so hard to hit the long ball with the bases juiced when all we needed was a base ripper.

  25. I have less problem with him avoiding the inside pitch than I have with him swinging at that last ball up at his eyes. Guess hitters don't ever change their mind. Bouncing 2 feet in front of the plate or one above the shoulders, they're swinging, regardless.

  29. Situational awareness. I was 4 for 4 bases loaded 2 outs tie game bottom last inning snd the catcher was creeping up on the plate cuz i used to stand toward the mid front of the box. Next pitch i went to the back of the box and intentionally hit the catchers mit. 100% on purpose. But we won and went on to state finals to win. U win by any means possible
