It’s not fair to expect the Canucks to be the team they were 3 seasons ago

the learning curve is uh is steep for some of those guys. There’s no no question. I mean, but then you I think you can take snippets of some of the stuff that we saw like Bane’s killing penalties the other night and say, “Wow, there is something there.” And um it’s it’s just not fair to think that this team is going to be what it was three seasons ago. Uh at the same time, I do think there’s enough there and and now it’s about EP 40. It’s about Jake De Brusk. I I’ve actually and I’ve actually been impressed with what Evander Kane has done. I mean, Evander Kane is doing Evander Kane things in Vancouver, and that’s that’s a good thing. And I I just think that we’re we’re seeing a team transition. Um, and everybody’s everybody’s on a on a learning curve right

  1. They talk about playing in a system, I don't see the system to be honest. If the system is for the d-man to wring the puck around the boards the forwards cannot be playing the system where they are expecting the puck to come out the middle. I cannot tell you or count how many times they wring the puck around the boards and the opposition defenseman pinches down to cut it off with the winger standing in the middle of the ice. They also need more pressure on the defensemen at the point they are always hanging way too far back.
