Lucas Raymond’s Injury Could Be Why The Detroit Red Wings MISS The Playoffs
If he’s out for a significant amount of time, that could be the difference between making the playoffs and not. Like that’s how significant of a loss losing Lucas Draymond is. And I don’t think it’s insane to say that because he was your points leader last year. He was the first Red Wing in a decade, over a decade to have 80 points. And he’s was at large points of last season over a 90 point pace before Four Nations where he got banged up and then played through it and slumped in this, you know, after fe in February and March. So yeah, losing him would be a big deal, but yes, also we don’t know the extent of it yet. And so we have to sit here and just cross our fingers.
If Lucas Raymond misses an extended period of time, that could be the reason that the Detroit Red Wings miss the playoffs for the 10th straight season.

Can you say fear monger? lol the whole point is to have a team that doesn’t depend on Lucas Raymond and Dylan Larkin. It’s good it happen early so they can figure out how to be a contender without these guys. Also, shouldn’t they be able to fine Tanev for the boarding if Raymond is injured as a result?
Also, let’s not forget Finnie has 2 points in his first 3 NHL games

Ridiculous, Raymond was shaking and moving his arm like it was stinger. IMO, the worst case scenario is a deep bruise and maybe misses a week. Before you click bait you should actually look at that play and then assess
Losing Raymond would be devastating however I don't think it will have anything to do with this team missing the playoffs.
