I promise I won’t continue to use that as a segue to we’ve got big problems, but we do have big problems here as uh media members of this fine market with this team. Um, and listen, we’re fans first. I, uh, it’s hard right now to be I think it’s hard right now to be a Cardinal fan. And this is where, you know, to look my young son in the eye and be like, “Hey, man, this is this is what makes you a sports fan. This is you don’t want to be a bandwagon fan wearing every other jersey. It’s like you’re with the Cardinals or you’re against them. And right now, these are the times we have to get in the trenches. We got to dig ourselves out of this muck because right now this team, you can’t believe anything they say. I don’t I don’t I love you, John Ganon. I don’t believe anything you’re saying. I don’t believe anything that’s coming out of Drew Petting’s mouth. And I don’t think I don’t think anybody knows what’s going to happen these next 10 weeks. What’s got to happen is they have to get a win at some point for this for this season not to be completely lost uh before the by-week. That that that’s what has to happen. They’ve only got one more opportunity. They’ve got a pretty daunting task of taking on one of the best teams in the conference as far as the Green Bay Packers who are at 31 and one. Can the Cardinals shock the football world with a win over a Packers team that probably hasn’t played its best football yet? They they’ve taken advantage. They beat up on Joe Flacco and the Bengals last week. They ti or they lost to Joe Flacco and the Browns and Flaco and they tied, you know, the the Cowboys on prime time. So, it’s like, you know, they’re looking for their best performance of the season. You don’t want to have it uh come in front of probably 50 to 60% cheese heads at State Farm Stadium in your house on Sunday. Yeah. I mean, the the bi-week projection that you and I did, I went and looked at it. It’s not pretty. Uh, in terms of our prediction, I remember I think Damon was still with us and Damon had picked the Cardinals to go four and three before the buy and like we slung so many arrows at Damon that day. We’re like, how could you? There’s no way they start four and three. He’s like, I still like them guys. I think I had them before the buy at six and one. I think I had them losing this game. So, it would be very poetic if they won it. But you were at five and two. I was at six and one and Dame was at four and three. They’re a they’re a seven-point underdog in route to potentially being two and five. I mean, just and again like I love a lot of our media friends here in the market. You lose me as a contributor to this market when you talk about they’ve only lost their four games by combined nine points. I don’t give two you know whats about that. You’re you’re like I I don’t care what you have to say. You lose me. you lose my credibility. Um, or you lose your own credibility when you make that argue. It’s the NFL. Everybody’s losing games. Close, right? We just The Browns just beat the Packers a couple weeks ago. Are you winning or are you losing? Right? Like clo close losses. Congratulations, you’re unemployed. It’s the same thing. Like now you might be quicker to the unemployment line when you lose like 560 Ken Wizenhun style but you know if if you’re losing more than you’re winning which is the current case with this regime eventually you’re going to find yourself unemployed. So like I I’m the the close loss thing I the Ganon and company have to say they’re close. What else are they going to say? But like let’s let’s let’s have some teeth here in the media like let’s not make excuses for them. We’ve all watched the games. These are not close losses like last year to the Bills and the Lions. You lost to Tennessee who fired their coach. This is We’re not I’m not putting a glaze over this turd right now, right? No. Yeah. Uh you know, you have a double digit lead against the Titans. You squander it. You just you found multiple ways to lose that game. Yeah. Um it it it’s it’s a true sign uh that things are unwell here. And it’s not like, hey, we’re just play away. It’s like, no, but you squandered plays to put yourself in that position. It’s it it really is uh times are tough here in B in Bird City, right? Remember that hashtag worse. Oh, so bad. No one calls them that. Cardinals get called like two two 10 year olds like Bird City. Let’s do it. Yeah. Uh but yeah, we we were out there today at the facility after uh Ganon talked yesterday uh said they made a few tweaks to the offense. Actually, let’s hear from Ganon yesterday. If you missed yesterday’s show, this was what the head coach was saying as far as how the Cardinals set up Jacobe Brassette for success. Or are they two different quarterbacks? You know what I mean? I I just wonder why the offense looked so different with Jacobe at times on Sunday. Um well, I think two It’s a good question. that like that defense plays a little different than all the other game, you know, and Green Bay is going to play different than them. So, that lends its hand. Um, but, you know, obviously we tailored a little bit the the the scheme um going into this week with, you know, the the possibility of Jacobe starting, I would say. Um, so we kind of had that up. I thought it was good job by Drew and his staff to make sure that we’re putting Jacobe. It’s just like all our guys, make sure that we’re putting Jacobe in spots that, you know, he does well with. Uh, and I thought we did that. And I don’t disagree with the head coach. I mean, they did. They set Jacobe Purcette up for success on Sunday. And the Cardinals as an offensive unit had their best performance of 2025. And I don’t think that’s even up for debate, right? 27 points was a season high. Jacobe Brassette threw for a season high team high 320 yards, had two touchdowns, and he had seven big play passes which matched their season total uh combined in one game. He had nine plays or more. I mean, it was it was there there’s no doubt that it was their best downfield passing performance of the season. So JG says, “Yeah, we tailored it to the strengths of in skill set.” Jacobe Brassette, we’re out there today, Johnny. We’re talking to Drew Pson, Cardinals offensive play caller. Wanted to kind of get more into this. Uh this is a tag team effort. Uh maybe Darren Urban didn’t want me to say it, but it was he asked the question and I followed up with Drew Ping. Um this was the back and forth with uh Urban to start, me and then me and then Drew just kind of finishing here. Not at all. Not at all. I and honestly I don’t think that game looks drastically different if one of the others in the game. So you think the same things that Jacobe had successfully with Kyler could have similar success? Absolutely. And then then there Yeah, there’s going to be tweaks and changes. It’s not, you know, that like, hey, Jacobe did this, Kyler might do that. Um, but I think from a overall standpoint, I think their skill sets are similar. That’s cute. You guys should start a podcast together. Um, you lies, lies, lies. More lies from the liar man. That’s not true. We all know that’s not true. And listen, I don’t blame him. This is the one time I’m going to give Drew his flowers. Like, he obviously ran an offense that he was comfortable with and he had a quarterback that executed. We have a bigger problem here. First of all, do you believe what he’s saying? I don’t. No, I don’t believe it. Like you’re going to tell me the 6’4 quarterback has the and who’s kind of um he’s not statuesque, but he’s not mobile by any means. Even though he made a couple plays with his leg, he’s not he doesn’t have the athleticism that Kyler has standing at 510. I I think that they have very different skill sets. Like very different skill sets. They’re the same they’re the same players. They’re the same guys. Um, like do I think like that the the offense train changes drastically? No, it’s the same plays, but how they’re deployed as far as how they can run this offense, I think it’s it’s it’s it’s pretty drastically different. Um, so no, I I I don’t necessarily agree with that, but at the same time, like, can you go up there in front of a a microphone and say like, “No, we we put in more plays that were conducive to throwing the ball downfield because we felt more comfortable with, you know, Brousett’s ability to do that because then that becomes an indictment on your starting quarterback that your head coach has doubled and tripled down on is is isn’t going to move from that spot no matter how well Jacobe Brassette played or could play. I’m going to give you my theory as to what has happened and I could be way off base. I think the mindset was to come here if you’re Drew Petting and Jonathan Ganon and Monty Oen for and try to tailor an offense that yes is is designed for Kyler Murray but also is a rund dominant offense bow that limits his hits and his exposure gets the ball out quickly but we all saw like have a shelf life with that. Now, the best version of that offense, and I don’t think you guys can dispute this, was like mid-season last year when they were six and four, top rushing team, and they ran out of gas. They did not play well at the end of the season, and this regime, I I’ll put Clayton Adams off to the side. They said, “Well, we don’t we don’t think we need wholesale changes. We think we can salvage this. Let’s double down on the personnel, including Kyler Murray, another year with Drew, and then like we we figure we’re going to be more explosive because another year of Marv. Like they banked on continuity, and that’s not new. We’ve talked about that, right? Problem is, and why this is been exposed now, Bo, is because they can’t run the ball effectively. their personnel warrants throwing the football more and the offense is not conducive for Kyler Murray to sit back, work off a play action, throw the football downfield. Whether or not he can do it or not, like I’m not I don’t want to have that argument. All I know is like when he’s in the game, they don’t do that. Okay. So now it’s almost like worst case scenario because you’re continuing to lose games, but you played a different quarterback who can do it and suddenly the offense looks dramatically better. dramatically better in a hostile environment with a backup without Marv for most of the game. So, I’m at the point where it’s just like you made a gamble. You made a series of gamles this off season offensively. They’ve all blown up in your face and they’re costing you now. Kyler is not a good fit for this offense. I don’t think that can be disputed now. So, like, but who’s that a bigger indictment on? Monte and Ganon. They should have they should have been able to say like okay like if we’re gonna stick with Drew and again I go back to like we had these conversations last January like I would have stuck with Kyler Murray but like if they came to Monty and they said you know what Monty we feel like there’s a cap on this offense because Kyler can’t run the offense the way we wanted to then why didn’t you go after Sam Darnold? Like the Darnold thing is interesting now because he’s succeeding and like he would clearly fit this offense. Like why didn’t you sign Sam Darnold? Why didn’t you trade Kyler Murray to the Raiders? Why didn’t you draft a developmental quarterback? You you made us all assume like, well, he’s a great fit because he’s in year three of your system. He’s not a great fit. It’s clear now. Like, so Drew and and and Kyler something’s got to give. I happen to think like both will be gone this off season, but like to sit here and try to, you know, spoon feed this fan base. The fact that like they’re the same and it’s the same. know Drew Kyler had trouble getting a 200 yards passing in your offense. Yeah. As as I sit back and I like look at the evidence, right? It’s like the I don’t know if the lightning bolt gone off yet as far as like where the true smoking gun is on who uh what the downfall in this offense is, but like I I think back to conversations we had and you brought it up like when we talked to Ganon in Indianapolis and he says, “I’m not going to make any power statements, but I think Kyler Murray is going to have, you know, his the best season of his career because I believe he’s gonna play he’s going to play at a high level consistently. And it’s like I’m I’m wondering what gave him confidence that what iteration what version of the offense because like what you’re saying like what we’re seeing here is Jacobe Brassette goes out there and they’re reigning threes, right? And and they’re putting up they’re getting chunk plays and the offense looks like it’s it’s it’s it’s operating at an optimal level where with Kyler Murray everything looks hard. What does the optimal version of Kyler Murray look like? because it doesn’t seem like there’s going to be a similar type and rhythm of play calling. It it seems like it has to be different. That’s why I take kind of exception to saying they’ve got similar skill sets and then Kyler Murray would have had similar success as Jacobe Brassette. Let’s just have this hypothetical conversation. What do you think the offense would have looked like on Sunday with a healthy Kyler Murray against the Colts? You think it would have been effective but different? No. No. Right. That would have been the the definition of insanity, right? I think they would have struggled to get to 20 points like every week. I think he would have been sacked a lot. It’s just not a I’m not This is not like I’m I’m ripping Kyler Murray here. It’s just like the offense that we have seen go up against Carolina, New Orleans, and Tennessee. Let’s just focus on those dumpster franchises sucked. They couldn’t move the ball. They they the second half they were out of it. Those games were over offensively for the Cardinals at the half. So like anybody who thinks that the car the Cardinals probably would have scored maybe 21 points maybe. I mean J Jacobe Brassette I saw this Tale Mackey quote tweeted um a video that I embedded of Jacobe Brousette. It was this beautiful pass to Michael Wilson for about what 30 plus yards down the field inside the red zone or Trey McBride I’m sorry it was to Trey. Yeah. I can’t remember if that was the last scoring drive or the or it was second to last. I I think they converted a touchdown there. It was the Cardinals longest third down conversion in four seasons. 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 since 2022. That was that was early in the game. Third and 17, correct? Third and 17. Yeah, he completed a third and 17 just tear drop. It dropped in the bucket to Tramy Bride and it’s just like what? this has been available. I It’s hard to have this conversation though, Bo, and we talked about it yesterday because, you know, Jacobe Brassette is not the answer long term, right? He might not be the answer this weekend, but what it shows you is the fact that whether or not they they’re too stubborn, they they knew he couldn’t do it, whatever, that Kyler Murray can’t run the offense that they want to run, and they are not capable of tailoring an offense like Cliff Kingsbury to where you can get the most out of Kyler Murray. So now we’re just doing this, right? If you wanted to have an offense with K1 and maximize his skill set, you put him in the gun, you get a bunch of playmakers, you delegate, right? You do what he did with Cliff, you do what McDaniel has done with Tua at times, but they went away from that. They’re like, we’re going to be this run dominant 12, 13 personnel with a 59 quarterback. I understand trying to make it work for the first two years. Like you could have you could have made a move this off season to say like the the Seattle Seahawks with Gino Smith don’t make the playoffs this year. The Seattle Seahawks might have a top three seed in the NFC because of their willingness to be aggressive to go out and get Sam Darl and fire their play caller. I I just Yeah, they banked on continuity and it was just a disastrous decision. Let me play devil’s advocate here just for the sake of it. Okay. The Kyler Murray optimizing him him becoming tapping into his potential, having the most consistent season that he’s had playing at a high level, right? All those things. Like, does it did it fall victim to them overlooking the offensive line taking a step back and the run game going away and not being there? I think if you’re saying, are you saying that last year was his most efficient year? No. No. No, no. I’m saying that the way that they were positioning themselves this season was it was going to be a third consecutive season of successful ground and pound game like where they’re going to be able to run the ball effectively like they did with James Connor and Trey Benson and the offensive line was going to be geared up towards that. And as we’ve heard earlier in press conferences that even though you you’ll push back on that they didn’t do this last year that the run was going to be able to set up success in the passing game. That’s a lie. That’s never been true. Or at least it’s not true with K1 and this offense. My opinion, and I 100% believe this, is that this offense with Kyler Murray peaked last year. And by peaked, it had 21 passing touchdowns and it was like very like vanilla. It’s like, you know, just outside the top 10 somewhere between like 12 to 14. I I mean, I But I know what they thought. They thought that, well, the schedule’s easier and we’re going to beef up the roster and the defense will be better and our run game’s going to remain dominant and we just need Kai. Who did I compare Kyler to like the entire off seasonason? I was like, they just want him to be Alex Smith. They just want him to delegate and be Alex Smith with some special plays mixed in. But the problem is now is it’s just like, okay, they they’ve had some roster deterioration with some injuries and they’re like, okay, now we need to crank it up. They don’t know how to do that. And the Clayton Adams thing is just the wrench to this entire organization where you took away the best attribute of this offense, the thing that made it go last year, and now you’re left with Kyler Murray who doesn’t fit in this offense, and a team that now is too relying on a on a couple old defensive tackles. I I really really disheartening, but it it’s easy to we have enough evidence now respectfully to Drew and JG like what they say publicly like they’re not that’s not what they’re thinking privately. I’m sure that’s not what they’re like the messaging to the team probably like to come out and say that Kyler and Drew and and Jacobe are the same same skill set play you know very similar production is just a croc of you know what there’s no way Kyler Murray has that kind of passing performance based off what we have too many games now of evidence. Yeah. You have five games of Kyler starting for this team and I’m going back to like the beginning last year. Right. But and then you have this kind of anomaly, this this performance from from Jacobe Brassette that just it doesn’t doesn’t match. It doesn’t fit together. It’s it’s a different puzzle and you’re trying to fit this to say that you it’s it’s the same and you’re trying to fit the wrong pieces in there. And that’s that’s where I think but here like here’s where I’ll come to their defense. It’s like when you’re riding a four-game losing streak and everything is going right, I I don’t know what you’re supposed to say. Like I know people want them to take the arrow to the forehead here, but at the same time, you have a locker room that that you have to keep high spirits and you have you you have to tread lightly with a quarterback competition and you have to you have to try to dumb that down as as as much as possible. But here’s the next thing, like the Cardinals are going to start Kyler Murray once he is healthy again. That is coming. Like this is not this is not like Jacobe Brassette had a great performance and if he has another if he gets another shot and has another good performance that doesn’t mean he’s going to be entrenched as a starter that he’s the new QB1 going forward. No the Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Yeah. So you better prepare and you better figure out what’s going to work for him. What’s going to make him look successful because you can’t put this cat back in the bag any longer. It’s out there. If he comes out and throws for like 170 and like six yards per completion, it’s just like guys, well, and that’s the thing. It’s like he’s capable of throwing for high yardage. He’s done in his career. Put him in his position to be successful for four quarters. Everybody’s to blame. Players, coaches, the executives comes back to like I’m going to keep using this as a copout, Bo. Like, here’s where I’m at with this. I don’t care whose fault of this. I just I honestly don’t because these things have a way of working itself out. It’s like Kyler will be gone. Drew will be gone. We’re gonna talk about Jonathan Ganon’s odds later in the show. It’s just like I it’s in your best interest, guys, to figure it out. We shouldn’t have to tell you every day to be like, “Hey, you know what? Kyler Murray probably would have a tough time in just traditional eye formation. So, let’s look at the tape when he really excelled in the NFL. He’s throwing five touchdowns against the Titans and lighting up teams and looking great against Pete Carol’s defense. Like, let’s go back and and chart some of that. Lighten up Robert Salah. No, you know what? We’re just going to do our thing and then and then we’ll put Jacobe in and he looks different, but we’ll tell everybody it’s exactly the same. It’s It’s disheartening, but I’m with you. Like, they’ll never come out and say that it’s they botched this whole thing. They’ll never come out and say Jacobe, you know, overreaction off of one game because like Kyler had good games last year and and like he’s he’s a startable quarterback, but like you can’t have it look like that and then look at everybody the following Monday, Tuesday and be like, “Yeah, this is this is what we’ve been doing.” Lies. Li Michael Wilson had 55 yards receiving in in five games. Lies. Four games. We all is a viable option downfield, right? I mean, it’s you you you were able to like you lost your best player in the receiving game outside of Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr. in the second quarter and you were able to light it up like Jacobe Bro 17 for 24 over 200 yards in the second half with two touchdowns and you’re like, but that’s the same Kyler is Jacobe. Jacobe is Kyler. If if that game had gone another like five minutes, he might have thrown for 400 yards. They they were ripping it down field, right? Even the drive where they’re unsuccessful, where he misses Trey McBride in the end zone, like they move the ball with ease down the field. They did it every single drive. Like Drew said that in his press conference, they didn’t punt in the second half because they were so successful that did you guys see that I didn’t punt. Congrats, Drew. Congrats on those 27 points. Uh we got more to get to, man. I this this team, man, you want to just love them, but then you just want to two and four. Come on, guys. Get it together. We’ve got more quotes. No phone. That’s wild. No phone for me. Did you have I’m still working with the cracked iPhone. Oh my gosh. I’m so sorry. I think I have you one up for this week though. Trending up, trending down coming up. Uh we think later in this episode, we don’t want to make any promises any longer. Maybe how I mean this was once a staple segment of of this proud show and now we’re just in such disarray and just trying to pick up the pieces. It gets pushed and pushed. Uh yeah, Drew Petting. Uh just as far as what is this on the expectations of uh explosives? Explosives. That’s right. The explosives that Jacobe Brant was able to find on Sunday. I think we’re, you know, able to take advantage of some things they did on defense. I think that’s going to be our focus every week. You know, some of the things that they were showing us from a front structure and a coverage structure in terms of how we could, you know, protect and get the ball down the field. And I thought, you know, even though we didn’t hit the explosives in the run game, I thought the efficiency efficiency of the run game was a little bit better, which was good to see. So, I think that all plays hand in hand. Well, if you’re Drew Petting, do you push to play Jacob Verset moving forward? No, you if you’re with your worth your salt as an offensive coordinate, you should be able to find a way to have a successful offense with Kyler Murray. That’s my belief. But he can’t though. We’ve seen it now. He can’t do it. That’s the his biggest and diamond right now. and you know, he’s still not a great play caller, but like if I’m Drew and I’m three months away from my Drew, for those of you who don’t know, Drew’s contract expires the end of the year. So like they don’t have to fire him. They just wouldn’t renew his contract. He just become a coaching free agent. If I’m trying to get a deal with with Nick Ross, if I’m trying to be re-uped, and certainly if I’m Jonathan Gan, it’s just like I I’m gonna play the guy who just threw for 320 yards like it was nothing. We scored 27 points. I I I think that comes into play there. He and Kyler Murray just are not a good match for whatever reason. But I mean like Austin Ford, Michael Bidwell, there are so many competing factors involved with this. But it is something to watch for as you mentioned yesterday, Bo, like should they go back to Kyler and it doesn’t look good, start stacking losses, would they then go back to Jacobe once and for all? Yeah, that’s when it gets really messy. That’s when this season is you just get the the garden hose out because you just need to spray the dumpster. That’s what that that’s when I mean that that’s that’s usually seasons reserved for organizations like the Browns or like the Giants where Oh, the Cardinals are in that wheelhouse, right? Yeah, sure. I mean, I’m trying to think when was the last time they they did that. Well, not like a top draft pick. I mean, Rosen started his whole rookie season after Bradford was Sam Bradford was like, “All right, I’m out.” As soon as they were like, “Hey, you can’t play. I’m take million.” Yeah. Yeah. And then they they outright released him. He was terrible. Um, so Rosen was never benched. Liner lost straight up to Curt Warner in his second season or his third season because he broke his collar bone the year before. But no, I mean, we’ve never had like I John Skelton lost Kevin Cobb Cobbs last year. I can’t even remember. It’s been so long. I mean, Kyler Murray’s been the starter. Isn’t there like they put in Max Hall at one point and then they had to pull him out because they realized, oh god, he’s terrible. He’s so bad. He won the game like they won the game against the Saints despite how bad he was. So, he got another start. Yeah. No, I I think but you have to be better like you have to show your your your better more buttonup franchise than that. So, you have to you have to realize that if if you’re going to go forward and and they are they’re like Ganon said about just overall organizationally they’re going to double down on what they know to be true. Yeah. If they know Kyler Murray’s QB1 without a shadow of a doubt and they know that he can put them back in the win column, they have to do it. They have to put it out and they have to figure out a game plan that’s going to work that’s going to find this offense the amount of points that it found on Sunday. Jacobe Brassette in the lineup. You’re playing in a division where you know Kyle Shanahan’s getting above average QB play from M. Jones and the Seahawks had enough self-awareness. We know it’s um McVey has done with quarterbacks. I mean like it it gives you a lot of pause that they’ve botched this so much. It’s a botch job and they’ve they’ve they’ve had a very difficult time with backups the last couple of years. Tune was a very poor, you know, project toward the end. Desmond Ritter’s acquisition was a disaster. I mean, it it makes you nervous because we’re we’re going to talk about like the prospects of this team drafting a quarterback indefinitely now. And it’s like, do you trust these guys? Do these guys know what they’re doing? Like for me it’s like I’m gonna need to be swayed like with Ganon going out and getting like I I thought about it more like Stfansky as an OC like I I you could you could sell me on that and having him develop you know um a quarterback I I would feel better about but like Ganon’s next hire as an offensive coordinator assuming Drew and and Kyler aren’t back will will be I I think what makes or breaks his tenure frankly. I mean, this this there this there’s all this is so fluid, too. Like, I want to be able to come up here on the show and be like, well, they’re a couple games away from like really having their juice back, but you made this point time and time again. You made on the postgame show Sunday. Does anyone feel like they’re close? I just I like don’t I don’t think they have the pieces to be close. I And especially their schedule now. Like sure they could they could beat Dallas and we talked about some of the winnable games in the second half, but like man there’s something so damning about two and five and then you’re off for 15 days. I mean that that is you got to eat that for 15 days in front of your friends and family and like that’s who you are seven games in if you lose this game. Yeah. And you can’t have a poor performance like you can’t have your first lopsided loss either going into that kind of layoff because because then that’s going to linger. that’s going to leave a a a bad taste in your mouth that’s going to expire during that time. And you know, are you going to be able to have people come back into the facility and prepare for Monday Night Football and the the stretch the the long stretch that you have after an early buy the rest of the season with full buyin? it it’s gonna it’s going to be tough and and the fact that you’re going up against one of the better teams in your conference, it doesn’t help that that’s why these these losses like the loss on the road to Santa Cl in Santa Clara to the Niners where they’re extremely under man and the game was there to be won and put away and then the loss to the Titans like those are two game where it completely changes the complexion of your season, how you approach this week and how you can get, you know, on the on the right track post buy because now it just puts pressure on yet because if you take one misstep, your margin for error is gone. It’s gone. It’s completely gone. It’s eviscerated. They don’t have any. And especially head coach Jonathan Ganon. No, man. Let’s take a look. This was available via our friends in Vegas uh earlier today. It’s the updated coaching odds. Next to be fired. Uh this is never a list you want to find yourself on. Mike McDaniel, you can’t even get uh even money on him. Minus 200. Obviously, Brian Callahan was just fired. Jonathan Ganon though, next in line. I mean, this is this is very very disheartening for a guy. And I I had egg on my face. I I quote tweeted a tweet they put out last year. The Cardinals at the by-week last year at six and four had a 64% chance to win the NFC West. And and since then, they’re 4-10. I mean, there’s not a good team. And so, like, you know, I think Stfansky and Dave are both gone. You know, Kell Moore, Aaron Glenn, they’re in their first year. Zack Taylor probably he needs to go. But I mean, he’s been to a Super Bowl and has been to the playoffs a few times. Like, I mean, this this is this is a hard reality right now for Cardinal fans because I I believe in Ganon, the leader of men. I believe that he has helped this franchise move forward, but I also am not going to come up on this show, Bo, and be like, well, it’s okay to just continue to lose. That’s fine. Let’s just continue to lose close games. Let you know we’ll do we’ll continue to lose divisional games. I mean, like Bo, they’re I think they’re something like one and five in their last divisional playoff games dating back to last year. So, it’s just like I I it’s hard. I can’t wrap my arms around you guys as culture builders and leaders of men when you keep losing. I I h eventually it has to be about winning. And yeah, that’s that’s the beauty of this league is just like you’re either getting it done or you’re not. I’ve got some a bit of breaking news. Like let’s not let’s I don’t want to like get people riled up and say that this is like really big news, but this is interesting to me. Arizona Cardinals just tweaked their availability for tomorrow. So Wednesday is usually the big day. Ganon talks in the morning. The Cardinals hold their practice and then starting quarterback Kyler Murray usually speaks and then we get locker room availability. The Cardinals have tweaked this to where tomorrow Ganon will speak at 9:45 and then there’s going to be a closed walkth through. So no actual practice that can be covered by the media. It’s going to be a closed walkthrough. So we won’t be able to see really who’s out there, who’s available for the Cardinals. And then uh media availability will be later in the day. And it doesn’t it doesn’t say anything about the usual scheduled quarterback press conference. So all right. So explain that to us in layman’s terms, Mr. Media Man. So we’re not going to be able to take kind of role of uh you know which players are going to be on the practice field on Wednesday and then I it’s looking unlikely like we’re going to hear from a quarterback tomorrow at the you where we usually have a set press conference every week. Great guys. Awesome. What do I mean? Like semantics. Is that what this is? What What are we doing here? Like people in the chat spamming secret secrets. What do they say? Secret secrets are no fun. Secret secrets help no one. That’s what this is right now. I I I don’t really I’m confused. They’re confused. What are we doing here, guys? It’s like It’s like ringing the bell. It’s like look over here. nothing to see. Like I expect they’re they’re clearly trying to keep kind of a a smoke screen on who’s going to be available at quarterback tomorrow, don’t you think? I don’t care. I mean, like I know you don’t care. I know you’ve been beaten down and you’re people are saying like, “How are you still alive after this team? What it’s done to you?” Um, friends have checked in on me, but I told you. Hey, props to them. Usually I’m doing the opposite on you. You text well. You’re usually texting me. He’s like, “Hey, still here.” Uh, yeah, but it’s they’re lean they’re leaning more against the grain with this. They want I I guess to try to they they view it as as gamesmanship. They they maybe view it as giving them an edge. No. As far as you know, you know, given the comments from the head coach and today you’re play caller and then tomorrow like we’re we’re not going to have a true idea outside of you know the injury report. The injury report’s going to come out and and that’s going to give you your best idea of who participated and it will say you know either Kyler practiced and was limited and and this is what it looked like. But out, you know, before that, you’re not going to have any real idea about it. Yeah, I’m sure Matt Laflur really shaken from from that decision tomorrow. Matt, let’s get Matt Laflur on the record. Yeah, that’s what he thinks about what’s going on right now. So, they’re going to have to release a practice report. So, why not let people come and watch practice? probably because because they don’t want to have me and my dumb phone out there shooting video of wow of quarterbacks warming up and how they look and you know okay I see I understand now so Kylin will probably be limited on the practice reports but we won’t know if he’s out there because like it’s not going to be it’s going to be a walkth through it’s it’s not going to be a full there’s not going to be sevens there’s not going to be 11s why aren’t they doing why aren’t they doing a regular practice then don’t know probably because they wouldn’t be able to close it to the media. So you’re not pra So that’s your answer is you want to keep this from the media so you’re not going to pra I think that would be completely speculative but I think the Cardinals need to practice. I don’t know about you guys. Cardinals who have lost four straight. Maybe they feel like they’re they’re so beaten up. Maybe I don’t know. I think the team that’s been losing a lot lately could probably stand to get better on the practice field. But yeah, Bo put out a tweet last Friday and it was like Kyler Murray’s throwing to backups and the Cardinals were probably like can’t have this from Bo Brock. So it is probably from you. I did this. Did you Did they get mad at you for doing that? I never asked you. It’s all within the rules. It’s all It’s all on the up and up from your boy. Man, what a time. That’s weird. That’s weird that they’re doing that. I’m sure that if you ask JG in the morning though, he’ll get he’ll give it to you straight. You’ll get exactly what you need. You’ll get exactly what you want. He’s just gonna come out at 9:45, he’s going to say, “Kyler starting, prepare yourself, Green Bay, what’s this Tom Foolery this afternoon thoughts? You’ll know.” He’ll give us one of these. You’ll know when you know. Oh my god. Who do you expect to be? Who do you expect to practice today? Like you’ll see the injury report. That’s that’s probably what we’re going to get. And then hopefully you’re right that the practice window uh the long awaited practice window for Walter Nolan will open just in time for a close walkth through. It’s like Walter’s back at practice to not practice. So dumb. All right, we’re going to come back. We’re going to do trending up, trending down. Trending up for your boy after the Cardinals starting two and four. Drew Petting a lot of arrows slung at him, a lot of mudslinging. I still think he’s gone after this year. Nice performance over the weekend. Liked the play calling, like the aggressiveness. Didn’t love everything. Hated those screen passes, but it was nice to see the Cardinals not get conservative. Let’s see if he can allow himself this weekend. The temptation of not getting conservative again, continue to rip it. Um, but I I I I was happy with the progress, albeit with a different quarterback, as was Michael Wilson, who many people um have slandered him as a player, uh, and said the Cardinals needed to get more uh, from their wide receivers, and they should have added people. I think Michael Wilson is a very at worst, Michael Wilson’s a three, but I think Michael Wilson on any given day can be a big- time contributor. I thought he was fantastic playing through a finger injury. And then speaking of fantastic, Bam Knight, Bam Knight’s the best Cardinal running back in between the tackles. He and Jacobe Brassette were excellent in short yardage. Like you’re getting what you need from Bam Knight until Trey Benson comes back. We all assume with the knee torn meniscus, Trey Ben would be back in about a month. So puts him on track for like right around after the buy, but I like Bam Knight has been more than serviceable. So yeah, I mean I’m going to give flowers to guys that don’t typically get it. And uh you know, as much as I have issues with Drew, like you scored 27 points for the backup quarterback, like I’m I’m going to tell you, good job. Nice. That’s very big of you. I I I can really appreciate that you you’re you’re growing emotionally, maturity. I’m not It’s unbelievable. Yeah, you’re getting so wise in your old age. Uh, and you have to go with the offense here because if you look at my trending up, uh, it was the offense that had the good day on Sunday. And why not just go to the man who kind of triggered that, Jacobe Brassette 320, two touchdowns. I know he had the bad pick in the first half, but the offense just looked uh like it was it was moving very well, especially the second half. Jacobe Brassette 17 for 24, 200 yards in those two ties in the second half. Uh, one of those to Trey McBride, who I thought had his best performance despite facing a lot of uh, bracket coverage by the Colts. The Colts were clearly keying in on the Cardinals tight end, and he was able to avoid that. They even held him uh, on the final play, which Trey McBride was egregiously uh, they did not call it or flag it, which is brutal, but I liked his performance. And then Z Jones, who somebody on this show, I’m not going to name names, said he needed to be cut. Uh, I stood there strong for Z Jones and he ended up having his best performance as an Arizona Cardinal and was key as far as their rally in the second half. So, all trending up on the offensive side of the football, Johnny, because the defense uh they took a step back on Sunday, which is unfortunate. Couldn’t have uh suffered that, but they did unfortunately, and it cost them. Love those selections. Um, yeah, the offense in general was fantastic. Everybody who stepped up, uh, helped make things look much more efficient. Will Hernandez, PFF scores weren’t great, but again, just give him time. Let him lean back into it. Disappointing for Isaiah Adams. Don’t know when he’s going to play again. Uh, let’s look at trending down. Common theme here uh, for your boy. Um, Nick Rollins. Uh, I’ll start with him. Disappointing day for somebody who we think is a future head coach um, with most of his players healthy. You know, I know there’s no Garrett Williams and he’s missing Yeah, he’s missing Darius and Walter Nolan, but like his starting defense was available and I again got to be more opportunistic. Buddha Baker is also on this list. You got to be able to come away with that interception. I didn’t think Buddha looked great in coverage. Like the defense needed to step up and I I’m especially disappointed because, you know, this supposed to be a defensive team led by JG and Rollis. Like after the week you had, you couldn’t just come out with your hair on fire ready to f up Daniel Jones. So really disheartening performance and whatever’s going on with Rollins’s defense in the fourth quarter. Like they need to switch things up. And I I’m I’m sorry. You’re at the point now where like you’re not consistently winning with four um until you know you get some more juice. Whether that’s Walter, whether that’s Darius. So start blitzing people. They should have blitzed Daniel Jones more. And then lastly on that list, Kyler Murray’s trending down just from the fact that Jacobe Reset looked infinitely better throwing the football. Like I again not knocking Kyler Murray the person. Uh, I think he’s he’s played efficient at times this year, but like that that was an indictment of of what’s happening with Kyler and Drew. So, I’m putting Kyler on this list. It’s disappointing. I want Kyler Murray to succeed, but the Cardinals scored 27 points for the backup quarterback who threw for the the highest yardage total of the year. And Jacobe Brousette when asked to do so was doing a nice job scrambling and short yardage. So, it’s tough right now for for Kyler Murray, I’m sure. Let’s go to my trending down. And as I said, it was going to be mostly uh defense, but let’s start with just overall hope. Hope is trending down here around this organization. Uh two and four for a second consecutive season. Can they kind of uh get things on the right track with a similar run like they had after this like going into week seven, they had a big win on a an app game. We’ll call it the Monday Night Football game that you had to download the app and and get on ESPN Plus. But, uh, Hope right now trending down. They’ve got to change that. They’ve got to do it as as soon as possible. And then, uh, you mentioned it. We’ll start on the the bottom here. Fourth quarter defense. As somebody pointed out, they hadn’t forced a punt in the fourth quarters. Now, they got off the field and ended the game at one point uh, for forcing the uh, the Panthers and also the Saints uh, at the end of the game to to not convert on fourth. But they’ve got one punt since the first game of the season in the fourth quarter. So it’s uh in the fourth quarter it’s it’s just hasn’t been good enough. Uh they got to figure it out. Somebody needs to play make a play to get off the field. And then Aake Davis Gaither just had a very brutal performance on Sunday. I think you pointed this out correctly. Lou Amarumo in Arumo who coached Keem Davis Gaither ADG with in Cincinnati who didn’t start him or play him you know that much. think he knew that the Cardinals, if they were going to have him out there on the field, that the Colts offense should target him and they did at a pretty high volume and they took advantage of it. Also, he struggled just getting ball carriers on the turf. Uh he’s had flashes here and there, but I you can’t have it liked what you’ve seen from 27 so far this season. Yeah, Lannor Rumo is like, we’re going after that guy. We’re putting Jonathan Taylor. And man, that’s what, listen, that’s what the great coaches can do is they can say Shane Stikin can say, “I’m going to put our two best skilled players, a tight end and a running back, in space against 27.” Like, the Cardinals would be so lucky to be able to operate that way offensively. Um, so those are some sad things. Let’s keep it sad here on a PHX Cardinals Tuesday or happy depending on how you look at this. The Arizona Cardinals bum are 10th overall in the draft standings. Two and four. That’s what that’ll get you. And moving up uh via ESPN this morning, Bo, they had the football power index projection. Cardinals have a 60% chance to have a top 10 pick. They have a better than 20% chance to have a top five pick. They have a less than 1% chance, however, to have the first overall pick. It’s because the Jets are a dumpster fire. They’re absolutely an embarrassment. Um, I looked at this today and last night and while like I’m optimistic that the Cardinals, they need one, can get a quarterback, I mean, count how many teams need a QB right here. Jets, Browns, probably Dolphins. You think the Browns? Oh, come on. Yes. Jets. They’re not They’ve got a third and a fifth round pick that they’re not gonna Yeah. try to see what they have. That’s never been more over. No, they’ll have a new regime. Th those guys will be gone. Jets, Browns, Dolphins, Saints, Raiders, Cardinals. So, there’s six of the 10 teams need a quarterback right now. So, I I do think like if the Cardinals want to get one that’s any good, you’re you’re probably going to need a top 10 pick. Just looking because the Jets and the Browns, they’re they’re they’re they’re in. Dolphins, they’re in. Saints, they’re in. Raiders, you know, who knows? I mean, what Kyler Murray could go to one of these teams, honestly, so we’ll see. But, man, I don’t like this. I hate this, but this is where we’re at, so we’re gonna talk about it. Yeah. And when you start to go through the quarterback prospects, I mean, we’re talking about Fernando Mendoza as, you know, one of the top quarterback prospects. um good story transferring from Cal and being a part of this Indiana team that I’m sure it’s hard you’re hardressed to find another loss on their schedule, you know, having a really good season, but like what’s your confidence that this guy’s going to be able to be a big- time quarterback at the next level? Um I feel hate I hate it. Yeah. No, I mean it’s the it’s the head smack emoji that that we have if you’re a supporter that you light it up when you think about it. I said, ‘ Noah, I need a nice fancy draft chart today, top 10, because we got to bust it out until this team gives us a reason not to. And like the NFL doesn’t slow down for anybody. So if like you sitting there and you’re thinking we’ll turn this around, we have time. You don’t have time. Mhm. Like we’re we’re on pace right now to have a head coach GM combination that have lost double the amount of games that they’ve won. Right now I think they’re 14 and 26. So let’s say like conservatively, let’s say they get five more wins this year and they can get to seven, right? Seven and 10. You’re talking about being 19 and 30 or whatever it is. I don’t know the math in my head, but like that’s tough, man. That’s not a place you want to be. Like you’ve had three years and I know the Cardinals roster was poverty in 2023. Don’t get me wrong, but like here’s the comp that I’ll use and I the AFC South is atrocious, but like Ryan’s and CJ Strad went to that went to that bad organization and turned it around immediately. Bruce Arian, same division with Andrew Luck as a rookie and a terrible roster. won 11 12 games his his first year. Like I I’m not saying you have to do it overnight, but like preaching hope in into year four, it’s going to be the hardest thing that we’re going to have to deal with November, December, January as doing this and the the scale is about to tip whether or not JG and Austin are back. It’s like can you look if you’re Michael Bidwell, this fan base in the eye and be like, give us one more year with these guys. You gotta you got to show something like that. To your point, you like I I and a lot of people are like tank for a quarterback. Do what you need to do if if you lose to the Packers this weekend. They do not think like that. Of course they don’t. That’s why the NFL is the best because they’re these are grown men. They’re trying to win. I need to see some I thought we would see some pride defensively this weekend. I’m I’m really disappointed with how they performed. Yeah. And I think they were pointing it out, was it on yesterday’s broadcast on the in the prime time game where it was like Caleb Williams obviously was drafted and he had Eberloose as his uh head coach and he was fired and you know these top quarterback prospects that are drafted in organizations that they’re drafted under a different head coach and then the head coach is quickly sent shown the door. Yeah. And um you know that that’s not anything that you want to overlook because it’s it’s a very real reality in this league unfortunately. And it’s like because you have to get it right as far as you couple them with the play caller. Put them in the right circumstance. Like people are blowing us crap about you know what we said about Bo Nicks and I’m not going to retract what I said. He looked horrible at the Senior Bowl and he went on to have a fantastic rookie season because Shawn Peyton put him in a great position for success. Right. So, like who are you going to be able to find? Well, like now every off seasonason everybody’s looking for the next top offensive coordinator. It’s not easy to find. Like that’s why it’s so, you know, impressive what Seattle’s done as far as retooling their offense like they did. Finding the quarterback, finding the OC in the same offense off season and and finding immense early success with it. But uh we continue our conversation as uh we say goodbye to our friends watching on TV and we continue at gophnx.com in overtime. Shots explosives. We got shots. Uh we’re jumping into your super chats. Uh kicking us off. It’s Tyler. $5 from one Star Wars fan to another. Johnny, help me. Jacobe one Kenobi, you’re my only hope. Wow. Uh let’s think. Let’s think for a second. So, how could I rationalize this in a Star Wars analogy that will really give Bo a tough time? Does Does Jacobe possess the Force? I I was more thinking is Kyler Murray Jake Lloyd from Phantom Menace and then Jacobe is Hayden Christensen in Revenge of the Sith. I don’t know. So, he’s Darth Vader. Yeah. But, you know, but then he’s the you know, there’s a chosen one. We’re I’m botching this. Uh that’s unfortunate. I He’s more like Finn. We don’t talk about the sequel choices here. Bees, who’s been a member for one month for Congrats so much, Bees. We appreciate you. In other news, Mike McCoy has a job in the NFL again. Um Mike McCoy for Drew Pine who says no. We got to relive um rehash some Mike McCoy moments in the press room today and uh somebody brought up the point that I believe it was Josh Winefist that Mike McCoy was fired in back-to-back November including the Cardinals offensive coordinator possession job. But the previous season he was fired as Chargers head coach. So although he has experience he also has experience being fired. I could see the Titans losing out. Um, I already thought that was a possibility. We should have had a defeated season potentially on the line. Yep. Thanks, guys. Dark Con one gaming $5. What QB we drafting for next year? Let’s just start talking about it now. We are talking about it. Um, Bose sent me. How about this? I I don’t know what quarterback, but I’m going to read you the free agent quarterbacks that Bose sent me. These quarterbacks that are scheduled to be free agents. Jimmy Garopolo, Mitchell Trabiscy, Case Keenum, Trey Lance, Russell Wilson, Kenny Picket. So, it’s like, well, you could probably get a good amount for Kyler Murray, but then are you just waiting for everybody to get fired? What are you doing? What are we doing here, guys? You can add like Jameus Winston in there. I think you can look at Denver’s Jared Stidum is somebody that they’ll probably try to get a draft pick out of you for, but those are your options. Mac Jones. Mac. Jones. Bad. I hate this. Let’s just draft your own guy. Brian P, friend of the show. Quote, “Kyler doesn’t want to show want to throw downfield.” Close quote. Every play that breaks down, Kyler throws deep every time. New O line should help. Miho played well. Do you think Kyler plays this weekend, Bo? I have no idea. I mean, as far as the injury goes, he’s going to be pretty close to it. I mean, being healthy because you thought he looked good last Friday. Yeah. But like the risk with it was, you know, you could you’re sore, but you’re putting yourself in a position to tear that ligament and just be done for the year. So like if it’s if he feels good, it it should be in a good enough spot to where he’s not going to risk reinjuring it or or you know, aggravating it and making it worse. So then like you have a decision to make and a conversation to be had. Lo two bucks. Go get uh Sanders. I think he’s talking about Sher. No, I think it’s Barry. Barry Sanders. Maybe a little too long in the tooth. We’re about two weeks away from talking about which players the Cardinals are going to have to trade on their roster. That’ll be fun. I’m going to enjoy that segment a lot with a barf bag. But I don’t see the Cardinals bringing in players. They didn’t trade for a back. You can’t trade away draft capital right now. You You need to hunker down. I don’t think there’s any scenario where Monty Austin Fort or Jonathan Ganon are in the positions that they are and they say we’ll take Sugar Sanders as a player on our team. What about when he does the mime impression locker? I need some of that content. That’s what I need. This franchise is missing. Let’s keep it going here with Brock Petty 199 Kirk Cousins to complete the Warner Palmer trilogy. He’s got a dead arm. He’s got the He’s got the Colt McCoy dead arm. His arm strength ain’t there. I’m He’s cashing checks. He’s snapping necks and cashing checks for the Atlanta Falcons on the bench. They knew it. He can’t throw anymore. But I I think, you know, I think that would be a good fit, you know, five years ago, but they’re they’re in a really tight spot right now. Lo coming back $2 M. Jones trade. If if the answer to the Cardinals problems is trading the Niners a draft pick for M. Jones. We might we might do the Panther podcast and pack up. That might be it for us. I might We’ll just We’ll w our fandom will be raffled off and we’ll just go into the go into the night. We be like, “Welcome your new PHX Cardinal host, Damon Dog and Kevin.” Yeah. Hey guys, we’re gonna go spend some more time with our family and I’ll be working at Kinko’s down the street. I’ve had enough. Certainly. Are you hiring? short stock goblin 199. I’m looking forward to a new QB era. Honestly, I think a lot of people feel that way and it’s not an indictment b of like Kyler or anybody else, but like I think a lot of people are just like I’m tired of the noise. I’m tired of losing. I don’t care whose fault it is. I want a clean slate. But I’m going to tell you right now, if you move off of Kyler and Jonathan Ganon and Monty Oenford are still here, they’re gonna have an immense amount of pressure to whomever they bring in. It looks dramatically better. I uh there’s still a part of me and it’s probably unpart popular take and people don’t have an appetite for it, but I would love to see Kyler come out and play well. Yes, I would love that too. I I just I’m numb because I haven’t seen it in for I would love for him to come out guns ablazing and just let it rip. But yeah, this offense has been banged over the head all season long and they finally run the offense that fits their personnel throwing the football on Sunday and it worked. Like they ran it half against Tennessee the previous week and it worked, but then they’re like, “Nah, we’re going to go back to this running thing and it’s it was a unmitigated disaster.” It’s like they finally ran it for the entire entirety of the game. It’s like it worked. Like give Kyler that shot. We’re gonna have a talk about putting them back in the lineup. We’re gonna have a clearly defined picture of this whole thing by the end of the season. Yeah. Arizona Cardich chokes, one of my favorites as a former artich choke. Uh Jacobe pro proved that our receivers get open just fine. At least we know we can move forward with Marv Michaels and Dorch. I think Marv was showing it before this. Like I I I like the performances from Marv and he continued it into this game before uh suffering the the concussion which I hope doesn’t linger on this week and has has a tough time. Hopefully he doesn’t have a tough time getting out of protocol. We need a Marv breakout game like we need air on Sunday. Joey Kennedy 199 Jacobe less than K1. Have some faith guys. I think Kyler is a better player. I’ve been consistent with that. But I can’t like I you can’t deny like the the way that they’ve tailored their offense for Jacobe and it’s a fit for what Drew wants to do and that Kyler is not a fit for this offense. Like can’t be disputed. It’s numbers. It’s the aesthetically how it looks, the receivers involved. Like I I would I would think that a great offensive coordinator could look at Kyler’s skill set and say, “Okay, like what what does he do? Well, okay, we’ll lean into that.” But they don’t do that. Uh our guy Tyler jumping in. Uh, Bo, we don’t talk about 789 or acolyte, my guy. Okay, those are Star Wars terms. No, we do not. Uh, we just keep to the classics. Thank you, Tyler. We do not. I’ll teach both. Uh, Darth Vader 199. What is it going to cost to move off of Kyler? Nothing. That another team will trade for him and you’ll get a premium draft pick. Like I can point out like there are people in this league um that think they can take that skill set and they can they can get a good version of Kyler Murray. They can get a Kyler Murray that can be a franchise quarterback. There’s that the Cardinals are going to have to endure it too. By the way, Kurt Warner talked about it because you don’t know what it’s going to be on the other side. You don’t know if like he they find the right system and they put it in and like I know people and they’ll roll their eyes at it like year seven. It’s like but it’s happened before. There’s a president happened all the time now. Yeah. Yeah. I mean like you’re telling me if you if the Vikings are like we’ll give you our first next year for Kyler Murray. You might want to think twice about that. I mean it’s just like you don’t think that’s going to work out? Like I I think your preference would be to deal him to the AFC. Um see the Seahawks did it right. They shipped Gino out to the to the dumpster Raiders. They got a couple picks. They endured a little bit of feet blowback and then now it’s they’re you know they’re Schneider might be the executive of the year. Theo 499 aside from the Titans loss which was bad optically. We’re in all the games. The Colts were down corners. We still see no hope for the future. Ask me in about two weeks. But I They need a good performance, Theo. Like we need to see a good performance, a complete performance. We need to see a defense come up and make a play in the fourth quarter. the offense to be consistent throughout the game um like they were on Sunday. Just that needs to happen before we can start to say, “Hey, I’m feeling hopeful about the next couple weeks.” It’s not enough. Not going to happen. It happens all the time. It’s not enough for me, Theo, in year three to be like, “They’re close, but they’re losers. They’re losers right now. They’re losing games. They’re four- 10 in their last 14. They have never had a stretch where they’re consistently winning. And in this division, they’ll you’ll get eaten alive. You’ll get exposed. Taco Corp 499. Okay, but hear me out. Flip Kyler to Baltimore for a first rounder. His payback for Hollywood Brown. That’ll show him. You know, it’s not funny. Taco Corp. I heard Howard Es Esan or something from Phil. Yeah. Went on a podcast, maybe it was his own, God help the sponsors of that show, basically say that they they need to get rid of Jaylen Herz and start Tanner McKe. And I I had to respond. I’m like, “Oh my god, like this is Philly content.” Yeah, Philadelphia Eagles want to trade away Jaylen Herz. Please God, let us be first on line one. But but franchises don’t know how good they have it. Like I was watching that game where they ran four consecutive uh tush pushes and I’m like this is terrible. I hate this. But I’ll be there with my uh I’ll be like at rally house with my number one finger like let’s go tush push it. Let’s go Jaylen Herz. I’d love it. I mean I I do think like when they remove that in the offseason like it’s going to impact his game. Brian, we saw that they can there’s there’s a version of like what the Cardinals were running and Jacobe Brassette was getting like three to four yards a push. Yeah, it was a it was more of a traditional QB sneak. Yeah, Jacobe looked great doing that. $5. Stafford didn’t win a playoff game in 12 years. Went to a real franchise, won a Super Bowl. Kyler could do the same with a good coach. I think we’ll find out. And I I I Cardinals, this is gonna be man, this like we’re gonna get a lot of news and a lot of talking points on this show for a lot of non-foot related stuff coming up, which is disappointing because I Bo and I thought this would really be the season where we can really dive into the games and talk about it and break down what’s happening. And the Cardinals just historically they’re they’re more of a a circus off the field that you have to pay attention to. And it’s just like will they or won’t they with Ganon and Austin Ford? If they fire Drew, who they bringing in, where is Kyler Murray go? Who do you add in the quarterback room? Who do you draft? Like there there are so many dominoes that are going to fall based on how these last 11 games go. Somebody’s saying that Kyler Ger should say he he should be playing. It’s not Liz Frank. It is a version of Liz Frank. It is a the version where he’s got a mild strain. Yeah. And if he goes out there and plays this style ball where he’s pivoting, there’s a lot of stop and go pivoting. You could tear it and it would be a full-on list Frank injury and he’s not an asset that you could move or build around. Then it just become like that becomes it becomes a multiple month process getting back from it. Some new members, some new supporters. Yeah. Brian $5. Thank you so much, Brian. Love Brian. Brian’s the best. See him out there at Cardinals training camp all the time. Big loyal supporter of the show. Love our guy Brian. Love him on social media. He’s the man. Welcome to the supporter club. And then as I was saying, Arizona Cartichokes became a supporter today. Huge. What is an artich choke? Can you explain that to me? It’s a vegetable, right? Yeah. But the Scottsdale Community College fighting artich chokes where I knew about that force. Yeah. What was the RA for the RH? Uh, it was like Kyler, it was Jacobe Brassett’s QB rating on Sunday. That was what it was. I think it was I think some people are saying it was sub four. I’ll let you run with that. I’ve heard some people say that. Uh, hit that like button, subscribe. Listen, it’s just good to see everybody today. We’re picking ourselves off the mat. We’ve watched a lot of bad football. this team, this this, you know, future of this team is up in the air, but thankfully this podcast ain’t going anywhere. Hit that join button. We got our guy Fran Duffy on speed dial for the coming weeks to break down these college QBs and strap in. Brace yourself. Brian Baldinger tomorrow is going to unload on this franchise. I cannot wait. Bo, what if he just comes on and he’s just like sunshine and butterflies and rainbows? I guarantee you he’s going to say that Jacobe Brouset should start. That’s my one prediction. Knowing Baldi, I think he’s going to say like Jacobe Brouset is better equipped for what they want to do. Um that’s Do you think we should show a split screen of his pinky and Michael Wilson’s pinky on Sunday and see who’s who’s got it who’s got it worse because that thing was gruesome. I think Mike managed to pop his back into place. I think Brian Baldy was probably just like, “Yeah, just leave it.” Yeah, let it let it go. Yeah, it’s gonna get mangled. Just cut it off. Brian P, Brian’s and Brian’s eyes and Y’s are killing it for this fan base. No doubt about it. You guys are the best. A lot of people are saying they’re the they’re the foothold. They’re the future of this fan base. So, we appreciate that. The Johnny’s and Jonathans are struggling. I’m having a tough time. Here’s where I’m gonna have a great time, though. I want to plug this. I’m going to be out at Chicken and Pickle this Sunday for a tailgate for uh Cards Packers. So, I’m going to do my best. I said there’s going to be a lot of cheese heads out, a lot of Packer fans. I’m like, I need to get down with the people with our team and mix it up at Chicken and Pickle. We’re going to be doing the live prehalftime and postgame show from there. Uh, and just having a blast uh talking Cardinal Ball uh hanging out. So, yeah, if you’re in the area, come on out to Chicken and Pickle. If you’re not going to the game or if you are, come by before. Yeah. No, it’s uh it’s just uh maybe a good wedge from Cardinals State Farm Stadium. It’s right there in the shadow. State Farm Stadium. Come over Chicken Pickle. Actually, if you are going to the game, I think it’s mandatory. Stop by. I’m going to be hanging out with Johnny. Britain going to be out there with you probably, right? I have a dream ✨️ 😌 😪 A dream of a NEW TEAM🎉🎉😅😅.
This is what I meant by ‘Carson Palmer’ would run this offense. I didn’t literally mean get Carson, and I don’t mean stick with Jacoby. What I meant was, Kyler Murray has been in the air raid his entire football life. He won the Herman in an Air Raid offense. We went to the playoffs running the Air Raid. Kyler Murray is an incredible QB, but he is not equipped to run a Stefanski West Coast system. You’re asking him to completely change his entire game and turn into a pocket passer, under center. He can’t and he shouldn’t.
Let him go somewhere else, and find success again, I want nothing but the best for him.
My crazy idea is, finish out the season, trade Kyler for draft capital. Use that to move up and take a QB next year, but sign a stop gap QB on a 2 year deal, and the one who comes to my mind is Carson Wentz. He would execute Petzings offense just as good as, and better than Jacoby did. Yes you’d get the Carson Wentz Experience, but he’s more athletic, more mobile and has an absolute canon for an arm.
Or we can continue to try and fit a square into a round hole and then scratch our heads and wonder why it doesn’t work.
See you boys tomorrow in the live chat!
Go Cardinals!
I think Petzing has been making improvements in the offensive scheme and is passing more. Nobody has brought up Kyler going off 21 points in the first quarter against the titans.. what lost us that game is really bad plays by Demercado and Rabbit.. cap me crazy but I think we're a lot closer than people think with Kyler, and we still have a chance to win games and make the playoffs.. we could easily be 3-3 or 4-2 and be at the top of the NFC
Eat crow fools! Tried to tell yall…
Draft defense again next year .
Build a damn defense and Oline .
Then and only then you get a damn QB . This ain’t hard .
A Running game and a defense what a concept .
The difference was, the running game had nothing to do with the quarterback. If you know anything about football, then you would have seen that. With this same offense, kyler put up twenty one points in the first half. If the team can't adjust, which has been shown clearly throughout the season. Not just offense, but defense as well.
Is Nolen ever going to play ? Is Robinson worth a damn ?
