  1. Love to see Yamamoto locking in after that HR, and Muncy getting his revenge HR was awesome.

Losing two games while having the 8-6-2 double play and forcing a NOBLETIGER has to be demoralizing for the Brewers.

  2. The Dodgers are so funny because they have a very exploitable weakness in their bullpen, but seemingly no one can get through their biggest strength, their starting pitching, in order to actually take advantage of it.

  3. Appreciate this starting pitching staff while you can. This is an all time rotation. We will tell our kids about how the 2025 Dodgers had a rotation of Snell, Yamamoto, Glasnow, and Ohtani

  4. Barring comebacks from the other two teams in the LCS, Mariners/Dodgers is gonna be the biggest underdog vs. evil empire series in a long time

  5. Can’t have bullpen issues if you don’t use the bullpen.

  6. Two more wins for the Dodgers and Mariners and the ultimate middle finger to the East Coast media World Series will become reality

  7. Brewers fans put up way more of a fight in the game thread than the Brewers did on the field

  8. It’s funny how Ohtani went from “Ohtani goes 4-5 with 2 homers as the Angels lose 4-2” to “Ohtani goes 1-5 with a single and 3 strikeouts as the Dodgers win 5-1”

  9. That was a total suffocation from Yamamoto. The kind of game that leaves opposing teams defeated in more ways than one.

  10. Did not expect to see Jose Lima’s name on the broadcast tonight, yet here we are

  11. ![gif](giphy|d6rGZmTP9ESis)

Rooting for this team is the Charlie Brown kicking the football of fandoms

  12. For the people who say the dodgers bought this. They did. But you can spend all the money in the world ie Mets / Phillies / Yankees you still need to work hard as a team and a franchise to get to this level

  13. The US Debt has rose 16.1 Trillion US Dollars since Christian Yelich last had an RBI in the postseason

  14. Clown on the Dodgers for losing back to back World Series? They take Mookie from the Red Sox. Clown on the Dodgers for losing to the 88 win Braves in 2021? They take Freeman…

Clown on the Dodgers for getting stomped on and swept by the Sneks in 2023? They sign Ohtani and Yamamoto, win the World Series the next year, then sign Sasaki and Snell for good measure.

Guys.. we might’ve clowned too hard.

  15. Last year we were lucky to get 4 innings from our starters. This year we’re lucky if we get 4 outs from our bullpen. Amazing how wildly different the pitching is.

  16. Tons of credit to Yamamo but the media needs to slander this brewers lineup. Absolutely pathetic to be swinging at bullshit up in the count and on first pitch. If you know the bullpen is weak you gotta do everything to at least get him out of the game

  17. One of the best parts about tonight’s game is that it reminded us about another very special game 21 years ago – the Lima time game.

Back then, the dodgers were in a playoff drought, and hadn’t won a playoff game since the 1988 World Series. Jose Lima was basically a journeyman pitcher who was mostly known for his personality rather than his pitching. One of the best things about baseball though is that sometimes even the most average of players can have a special night, and the Lima time game was that for Jose Lima. He threw a complete game shutout vs. the heavily favored cardinals and wrote his page in dodger playoff history. Unfortunately Lima passed away too young, but it’s always nice to get to remember a special moment from a very unique player.
