The Chiefs offense is BACK and the NFL isn’t ready for it…
So, the Chiefs offense is really starting to heat up, and it’s honestly terrible news for the rest of the NFL. Since the return of Xavier Worthy three games ago, the Chiefs are averaging 31 points per game, and through the first six weeks of the season, their offense is second in offensive DVOA, third in points per drive, fourth in EPA per play, third in success rate, first in plays per drive, and first in average time per drive. All that means the Chiefs are moving the ball well, sustaining drives, and also putting up points more times than not, which also in turn helps out the defense. And they aren’t just dinking and dunking down the field either. Casey is 11th in explosive play rate despite facing two high safeties more than any other team. And they were dead last in explosive play rate last year. The craziest part is they’ve done all that without Rashi Rice who returns this week from suspension. Worthy basically missed the first three games and they don’t really have a dynamic running back room. Sure, the running backs have looked better the last two games. More under center runs has helped with that. But Mahomes has still led the team in rushing in three out of six games. So, return of Rice is only going to help everyone involved as well. He’s the short and intermediate Yak threat, which will open up more opportunities for Kelsey and Guju there. The attention from that will of course open up things downfield for Xavier Worthy and Taekquin Thornton. And all that should help take a bit more pressure off the running back room and hopefully help them too. All that to say, the Chiefs offense is officially back, and I’m not sure the league is ready for

Hopefully we see better over player balance against the raiders…. we'll technically be at 100% with all our starters….. this will be a definitive game.
With Rashee coming back I’ve been doing some film watching of his last year first couple games. If he’s covered (double is required within 30 yards) Brown or Juju is gonna be open if worthy isn’t able to break free. Our offense is going to come down to O-line and and if Pacheco and Hunt can pick it up 2 more notches I think we’ll be alright

The key is the run game.
The only still concerning things is the inconsistency and getting dumb flags from the wirst 5 weeks. If they get this under control I can see them go something like 13-4 if not a lot of injuries happen.
