This is the best way to word it. They should at least leave it all out there on the ice. They’re not.
But guys, how would you feel if you’d be one of Sabres players?
Booing everytine you show on ice.
Reading all the comments about loosing even the season did not start yet.
Fans making fun of players when out with family/friends.
They are under extreme pressure from everyone.
I would be totally bored on the ice.
I just can’t boo the Sabres. As players, they must see the roster that has been assembled and think, wtf is management doing. Promises of improvement and growth upon contract signing are just empty. I wish someone on the team would ask the media what their expectations are when we’re skating a 32yo journeyman AHLer top 6 as we have no contingency plan to deal with injuries. Usually people that run any business this way fail.
The way the media handles the Sabres as opposed to other ass level teams is just annoying.
I get it, it’s a story line and lots of fans of garbage squads will click to feel better about their own team. But does anyone think that Detroit, Montreal, Ottawa or any other mid team in the Atlantic would be looking good missing 2/3rds of their 1st line and half their defense?
Once benson is back we go undefeated the rest of the season!
I had a feeling this season would be bad, but they just drove straight into a ditch.
