Seems like his injury was a blessing in disguise. Instead of rebounding from terrible performance after being traded here, he had to bounce back from injury. I see it as a reframing of a mindset, like the injury gave his mind a reset from the performance issues, and placed it on the physical rehabilitation. That's a different set of goals and determination. Regardless, I'm glad to see him being a monster for us. And he should deserve the cy young despite the number of innings pitched aspect of the award. He was flat out dominant
