Travis Kelce defended Rashee Rice as a person and called him “one of my favorite teammates I’ve ever had.”

  1. Sir this is reddit – any person who has committed even a singular criminal, or immoral, act is a horrible person who shall never find redemption.

  2. I’m struggling to think of a teammate Kelce has talked about and not called “one of his favorite team mates ever” and I also believe him every time lol

  3. The way the dudes talked about Kelce in the Kingdom documentary gave me goosebumps. He’s a good locker room guy

  4. I like Travis, like what a good teammate he is, but as someone who lost a family member because a kid was speeding like Rice, Travis is really underplaying what Rice did.

  5. We all did stupid shit when we were young, I’m all for second chances.

That said, don’t fuck this one up Rashee

  6. As much as I love Travis, I feel like he has 20 favorite teammates. That being said Rashee definitely doesn’t seem like a bad person, just had a major fuckup with devastating consequences. Until proven otherwise, ill assumed the whole experience allowed him to mature up real quick

  7. I am all good with his second chance. But dude better be extra careful here on out. That was some very serious crap.

  8. Travis is PR trained to a T lmao. Always has nothing but great things to say on his podcast, but then yelling at teammates and slamming his helmet on the sidelines lol. He’s still a great player and we’ll miss him when he retires, but it’s just funny to see both sides of that

  9. this the same kelce that said he expects kc to give tyreek nothing but love for all the charitable work he did? maybe he’s not the best source on the quality of a person (to say nothing about rice! he could be a standup dude who really only had the mistake – kelce just isn’t the best messenger for that).

  10. I’m sure he’s a nice guy to be around and all that but “the world’ didn’t make him do the stupid shit he did

With that being said, hopefully he doesn’t fuck up his second chance

  11. I love Rice, and i’m sure he’s actually not a bad dude but what he did was so unbelievably stupid and unacceptable. Let’s not even do the whataboutism shit here, he almost got multiple people killed. You don’t have to be a purely bad person to do what he did.

But, he deserve a chance to redeem himself and his image. I’ll gladly root for his comeback
