How disappointing that Neto wasn’t on the list. Fangraphs has Neto #1 among AL shortstops in DRS, but SABR’s Defensive Index has him in the second tier behind Witt, Walls, Peña, and Seager. I’ll have to ask what that discrepancy is about.
EDIT: The SDi guy told me that Neto’s OAA is -7, and that plays a big part in SDI. DR is good, but it’s a compiling stat, and SDI weighs rate stats more heavily.

This makes me question the list tbh. This guy should not be sniffing any gold glove consideration
I imagine Schanuel and Neto will take some leaps next year and be in contention for gg
