Michael Misa NHL Debut Analysis for San Jose Sharks
uh Michael Misa who made his NHL debut and I think had a solid night. Uh nothing spectacular. You saw some couple plays here and there. Uh nothing too like groundbreaking uh or anything like that, but that’s okay. Um you know, so for Michael Misa, uh he played about 15 minutes tonight. Uh which I was, you know, a little over 15 minutes. So that was over what I had projected. I was in the kind of 14minute range for him. But I thought Misa handled himself when given the opportunities.
There was nothing spectacular in Michael Misa’s NHL debut, but he made some subtle plays and showed his high hockey IQ when given the opportunity.

Misa looked like he was scared to make a mistake and got rid of the puck quick every time he got it. Felt like he thought if he made a mistake Ryan would bench him for 5 games like muhk…
He didn’t look that great tbh but it’s his first game. Can’t say solid and then say “nothing spectacular”.
100 percent agree! He looked tentative. Played hot potato with the puck. Understand why, but that leaves the team a man short on the shift unless someone lays the perfect play out for Misa. He needs to get from 60 percent to 100 percent out there as time will do for him.
