Blues complete successful road trip #letsgoblues
Hi everybody, VIP Patad here. The St. Louis Blues have started their season in a pretty good fashion here even though they were shut out on opening night five to nothing against the Minnesota Wild. Uh they just completed a very successful road trip in Western Canada. First of all, they uh beat the Calgary Flames Saturday afternoon. Jakey Neighbors scored a couple of goals. Pia Sudter was in front of the net. He scored a goal. Pico scored. Uh, opening night, Bennington was not too good. So, in came Hoer against Calgary. Boy, was he good. He was stellar. Uh, really, I think he was a difference in the game. And, uh, last evening, the Blues beat the Vancouver Conucks 5-2. Uh, they’re getting good play in all zones. Uh they’ve got the best goalending tandem in the NHL. Bennington was outstanding last night. He was Binner and Hoffer Stellar and Calgary. And here’s some good news. The Blues defended six on five twice already this season, which was the Achilles heel and uh really delivered that gut punch at the end against Winnipeg in the playoffs last year. So, the Blues are two- one. They play the Blackhawks tomorrow night in a late game that’s on TNT. Let’s go Blues.
