Roy says Rittich starts tomorrow vs. Edmonton, Sorokin Saturday in Ottawa

This could go horribly wrong
Give sorokin a reset, I think it’s better than having sorokin maybe going 0-4 and rittich has to start a do or die Saturday.
Thursday will be fun.
It makes sense but man it’s dumb at the same time. Gives us a way better chance to beat Ottawa but is basically saying we’re punting on the Edmonton game

Good lord this could either be surprisingly good or horrifyingly bad
Great call. There’s no cake walk matchups, but there certainly is tougher ones. Let Sorokin rest and refresh, and give Rittich a chance to prove himself. Also let’s see how the team responds to Rittich being in net vs a Cup finals team
Sorokin was bombarded these first three games against really good shots. Including some really baffling defensive misplays. I’m honestly not upset if we go down 4. Edmonton is hot and hell they were in the same position before and made it to the cup. Anything is possible In an 82 game season
