We we’re 17th in defense last year. If we could just be slightly better there while significantly improving our offensive rating from 11th we’ll be great. That’s the key.

It’s true and the biggest cap on this team’s playoff ceiling until it’s fixed. Team defense can get you through a successful regular season. But when it’s playoff time, it’s all about the best players targeting the weakest link. Lakers unfortunately have a few too many as currently constructed.

right now if we’re chasing a championship, our hope is we get depleted rosters in the playoffs with the injuries being key guys out of their rotations. we can get up to the same 3rd seed but we’ll struggle as we’re still an offensive team with lackluster defense. giannis for maxi kleber trade soon! 😆

We were playing second string but eye test wise i was quite impressed with the defense against the suns, at least in the first half. I didn’t watch much of the second closely.
