Rockies replacing field for the first time since 2019

Haven’t made postseason since 2018. Superstition says this change is good for rox.
Yes! The field has most definitely been the problem.
Alright! This was the change we needed to light a fire under this team. Here comes the Rockies’s next pennant.
I look at as a fresh start for 2026. New Manager, new GM, new field. Since new owner is out of the question, let’s hope the new GM has some authority to make good baseball hires and good baseball decisions.
They should try changing the ownership instead.
Don’t the Broncos do this after almost every concert they have at Mile High Stadium?
Obviously lots of more important changes need to happen, but unironically this was a needed change. At the end of the season there were obvious dirt spots where high outfielder traffic wore the grass away. This was the first time I noticed the field being kinda run down, so this is a good thing
