No news is bad news
There’s no need for us to know the details of why he is gone. I’ll probably get downvoted for it, but I think it’s reasonable to at least be curious of some sort of timeline for him to return.
Do I think we *have* to have it? No. But I understand people who are curious. And you know for a fact no matter what happens he’s going to be bombarded with questions about it when he returns unfortunately.
Really hope he’s okay and takes all the time he needs to get back on his feet. Don’t wanna speculate, but hard not to worry. NFL is as mentally challenging as it is physically challenging sometimes.
Ultimately we aren’t owed an explanation.

Yeah, knowing this happened last year, in the same circumstance where the team gave zero information, was interesting to see. That’s how it should be.
And yes it’s still a rare thing, but it shows that these things have happened before and that teams have handled it similarly in not giving any information out.
Hope he gets better. Moore shut an elite DE down though, so thankfully we have someone who can hold the line

The people that need to know are in the know. The media, fans and haters don’t need to know yet or ever. Period.
Moore was “supposed” to be playing now anyway and we’re paying him as such, and he played well Sunday with little notice against the Lions.
Simmons can take the time he needs and will be back when he’s back, we don’t need to keep hearing nothing new every day.
Some people are way more private than others when it comes to their personal life.
All we can do is speculate, lots of weird family issues can take multiple weeks to resolve. It’s just that most of us aren’t rich and don’t have the leisure to just stop working to help out with things… Maybe one of his family members is on life support now. Maybe someone disappeared or was kidnapped… Or maybe it’s a mental health crisis.
Simmons seems to be very professional and has the drive to succeed… For him to disappear like this, it’s probably pretty bad. Best of luck to him
