I would not go into this game thinking it’s gonna be easy. If the Bucs were our toughest matchup offensively, this might be our toughest matchup defensively this season. A true test to see if the Kubiak offense can still operate under elite defense.

I expect a close game, I don’t think a win is in the bag. Plus, we have the homefield curse right now for whatever reason.
On paper I think we should win this game handedly, while not scoring more than 20. The issue is that it’s a home game so we’re nerfed

The Texans want to run the football. We have the 2nd best run defense in the NFL by yards per game allowed (79). In the games this season where the Texans rushed for fewer than 100 yards they are 0-2.
This Texans offensive line is one of the worst in football. This front 7 is going to feast on Stroud.
However, this Texans defense is elite. I’d say it’s a top 3 defense in the league.
I have us winning this game, but it is going to be an ugly defensive slugfest.
At the end of the day I think it comes down to the better offense, which is us by a country mile.

I think their OL is supposed to be bad so our DL should be able to mostly shut down their offense. Their defense should be good and might be the best defense we’ve played so far. So itll be interesting to see how our offense matches up against them.

Just hoping that one or two of the DBs that have missed time can come back. No matter what they’ve looked like this year it is much more likely that Stroud and Collins put up a performance like Baker and Egbuka than a performance like Lawrence and BTJ against a decimated secondary.
We are thinking if you cant beat bad teams then what does it matter? Go out and execute and everything should be okay with this one.
