Robless coming over, jumps and makes the catch and the one and that is swung on and missed but it’s going to the back stop and a run will score. So Raleigh could not block that one and a wild pitch has given the Blue Jays the lead. And now a well hit ball to right off the wall. Guerrero is in. Kirk is in. And Varo has driven in two with a double. Two down. Here’s George Springer who hits a fly ball to center. Rodriguez back turning. It’s gone. A rocket to straightaway center field. And George Springer has his second home run of the series to give the Blue Jays a 6-2 lead. run in game one. Turned around to his side and says, “Springer’s doing it to us again.” He gets another breaking ball. Hits it to center. This one’s going a long way. Gone. [Applause] A first pitch slider deposited over the center field fence. And it is seven to two. Glad he’s back. 0 for seven in the first two games. He’s three for three with a double a home run and two runs score. The slider from Kirby and he’s out over the plate and down. And he got to it. He smoked it right out of here. Third home run for the Blue Jays. And that’s going to be the end of the game for George Kirby. Ernie Clement shoots the ball to right for a base hit. Santandere is getting the wave and will score. Kirk is out at third, but Santandere was across the plate already and a swing and a weak ground ball towards first. This will get a run in. Jimenez will come in to score. Lucas retired on the ground now, but give him an RBI. They swept the next game to sweep the series. Kirk hits one to the opposite field. It’s hit well. It is gone. And they are pouring it on here in Seattle. retire a batter gave up some walks and a Rosarena is going to take him deep. That is gone and it is 12 to three. [Applause] Well, we mentioned the Mariners, they lean heavily on the home run to score runs. 50% of their regular season runs came in on home runs. Oh, now Raleigh with a fly ball deep to right. Great effort by Lucas, but it’s gone as well. And it is 12 to four. There’s one that’ll get him going. Look at this one go way back into the seats. Fifth home run of the night for the Blue Jays. It’s 13-4. Well, first hit of the series for Addison Barger. And what a good feeling that is. He had a great series against Seattle here in May, including a three double game. 10 in the series before this swing. That pitch was down and in. And that is a no doubter to the seats in right field. You can bet the Barger family is celebrating. Up 13-4 in the bottom of the ninth. This is Victor Robless down to Guerrero. And that is going to do it. The Blue Jays make a statement. Both Shane Bieber on the mound and with their bats hitting five home runs in this game. And the series suddenly feels a little bit different. It’s now two to one for the Mariners. Feels dramatically different. And the Blue Jays never lost their confidence. [Music]

  14. Starting Max in the fourth game is a mistake. Chris Bassett or Jose Berrios should be starting. Max has not pitched well lately. Schneider has made a mess with the pitching rotation.

  21. Just nice to see the teams being so classy. Vladdy and Robbles exchanging what appeared to be "pleasantries" shows such great sportsmanship.

  35. Seattle being so close to Vancouver, and all BC fans (who drove to Seattle) rooting for the only Canadian team (Toronto) made this away game feel like a home game for the Blue Jays.

    Don't be surprised if it ends up 2-2 by end of night.

  39. What a statement game. I had a feeling all day that this was their game, and clearly, they felt the same. Bieber was brilliant. What a performance in the clutch. It was quintessential Blue Jays, with the entire lineup contributing. Jimenez's bomb was absolutely vital; it jumpstarted the team and completely changed the complexion of the series. It was so crucial for Kirk, Guerrero, Varsho, and Barger to get it going. Also, I love the poetic synchronicity between Vladdy and the sunset sky at 2:35; I noticed it during the game as he was rounding the bases after his homer. What a moment.
