Keith sounded off on the “negligent” Yankees when reacting to Anthony Volpe’s shoulder surgery:
Like I have a question. Why do you guys always misdiagnose injuries, lie and try and cover it up and then after the fact it’s like, “Oh yeah, Rizzo was actually concussed. Oh yeah, DJ had a hip issue. Oh yeah, Judge had a rib thing.” And then it end up being, “Oh, Vulpi played from May 3rd.” I remember watching that Saturday game against the Tampa Bay Rays. They stopped the game for at least 10 minutes. He heard something pop. So, you mean to tell me you ran that kid out there, a 24 year old kid who grew up in this area, diehard Yankee fan that, you know, you got to kill him before he’s going to just bow out and say, “I’m hurt. I can’t play.” He finished that game. It’s negligent. It’s irresponsible. And honestly, it doesn’t make any damn sense why the Yankees ran Anthony Vulpi out there hurt for four or five months.
Keith McPherson says Anthony Volpe’s shoulder is the latest Yankee injury that the team mismanaged or downplayed despite fans knowing better all along.

The medical team for the yankees is very concerning in how they handle the players.
