100%, I’m glad they mostly wore the white unis during this era, a lot less offensive

What Rams fans need to understand is their wearing of this combo was a giant middle finger to the NFL, they wanted to switch to throwback LA unis until the rebrand and the NFL said NO.
The owners who wanted the Carson stadium and Raiders & Chargers were mad about the rebirth of the LA Rams and hindered the very obvious marketing opportunity
So the Rams found a loophole that let them change helmets and said okay, we’ll just do that and wear white unis all year.. and if we have to wear darks then you get what you get NFL.
The NFL relented in 2018 and let them wear two uni combos for home and away. The home main uni became the LA throwbacks.
Imagine what that combo would look like without any gold on the numbers, collars and shoulders 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
The first thing that comes to mind with this uniform is that batshit crazy 2017 Jacksonville game
The helmets were a step in the right direction but that StL gold was always a terrible color
