Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers 10/16/25 NFL Pick & Prediction | NFL Week 7

What is going on guys? Brad here from pits.com and I got a pick in the Steelers first Bengals game going down on Thursday, October 16th, 2025. You can find all my plays there as well. That includes my $25 play of the day, which is my best pick every single day. But let’s get right into this one, guys. We got some Thursday night football action. We got the Pittsburgh Steelers headed into Cincinnati to play the Bengals. While I’m recording this, it looks like the Steelers are laying 5 1/2 points. Total set at 43 and a half. Looking at the betting splits here, looks like there’s actually some sharp money coming in on the Bengals money line. Uh 77% of the bets are on the Steelers money line, but 53% of the handle is on the Bengals money line. When it comes to the spread, looks like it’s pretty even. you know, 55% of the bets are on the Steelers, 53% of the handles on the Steelers as well. Kind of similar with the total. There’s not much of an edge there when you look at the betting splits, but like I said, man, it it looks like there’s some sharp money coming in on the Bengals money line to win this game outright. Very interesting. You know, looking at the Steelers last three games, they’re currently on a three-game winning streak. They’ve looked pretty damn good. But, you know, let’s be real, in their last game, they played the Browns. a Browns offense that is terrible at this point. I mean, Dylan Gabriel, he does not look good out there. I’m not putting too much stock into that one. Game before that, he played the the Steelers played the Vikings. Carson Wentz starting at quarterback. And then the game before that, they did beat a Patriots team who’s playing really well. But if you watch that Patriots game, I think the Patriots had Patriots had like three turnovers in the red zone. It was pretty wild. I was on the Steelers in that game. So, I watched that whole game. We were lucky to escape um with the win in that one. But all I’m trying to say is yes, the Steelers have looked good. They have looked really good. But I’m kind of scared they’re coming into this one a little bit a little bit overvalued. You know, this is a divisional game on the road, short week, and you got to lay five and a half. Not really a spot I want to be in. Don’t get me wrong, the Bengals have looked terrible. They look like potentially the worst team in the league without Joe Burrow. Uh they look bad, but let’s be real, guys. They played the Packers in Green Bay. They played the Lions, not an easy matchup. They went into Denver and then the game before that they went into Minnesota. So, they’ve had some really tough competition. Whereas the Steelers, in my opinion, have had some easy competition as of late. I kind of like the fact that Joe Flacco has another week under his belt. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t love how he looked in that game against the Packers last week, but we saw him kind of start to get these going at the end of that game. Um, he threw a touchdown there to Jamar Chase, so maybe he’s able to carry that momentum into this one. But overall, guys, this is just kind of a a play on the spot for me. I’m going to be on the Bengals plus five and a half. I know it’s gross. I know it’s ugly. I know this is a team that’s very difficult to trust right now, but this kind of reminds me of last Thursday night game. It was Eagles going into uh New York. Uh Eagles were laying what, seven, seven and a half. You know, we were on the Giants in that game. They end up in winning outright. This is kind of the same exact sit uh situation. Yes, you got a Bengals team with a new quarterback who’s looked terrible, but do you really want to lay five and a half points on a short week in a divisional game on the road with the Steelers? I don’t. So, I’m going to be on the Bengals here. I think they could put up a fight. I’m not sure if they win this game, but Joe Ver Flaco is a veteran quarterback. I feel like just another week under his belt with this offense is going to be huge. Let’s just hope the Steel the the Bengals defense could do something. I know that’s a that’s a tough ass.
