I feel like the narrative about him this year has been getting really skewed by all the penalties. Which he absolutely does need to clean up, for sure, but he’s been playing at a pretty high level all year
I owe than man an apology. I saw him mauling folks in the run game, but thought he was struggling a bit in pass pro. Seems I was wrong. Damn do I hope he and Benedet lock down those spots. It would be so damn nice to go into the offseason and draft truly able to just go after the BPA across the roster.

Penalties were a concern but he has been trending down so kudos to you Darnell! Hopefully that is not much of a concern anymore. Ben and co really seem to be unlocking a lot of these players, maybe Poles picks weren’t horrible they just weren’t getting developed?

Wright’s return made a huge difference.
Could you imagine if the bears would have traded up and drafted Joe Alt? The o-line would have its two bookends of the future.
