  1. I mean… yeah… I get it lol it’s like when you have a friend that’s relapsed 10 times in the past year but they start going for runs and they’re being productive

  2. I’m honestly fine with this, this team needs to prove it in the games. I’ll pass on pre-season hype

  3. Optimistic outcome would be making the 8th seed for this team after the debacle last season.

  4. Not even asking for a contender anymore. Just give me another fun 45 win+ season with a lot of our young guys showing potential. Last season was hellish

  5. Even if Embiid had an MVP type season, we’re not winning anything because we don’t have a roster for that. Just be competitive though.

  6. Weirdly the first sentence doesn’t seem to match the rest of the paragraph.

    1. You can’t be optimistic because of past history. Totally makes sense.

    2. The team seems to be cautiously optimistic, but are afraid to tell fans that. Also makes sense, but sounds like a good thing?

    Am I reading that right?

  7. In April most of this subs members kept trying to convince the rest of us Embiid was never playing again.

    Chance he plays tomorrow

  8. I mean that’s totally the vibe I got from the morey/nurse press conference. Every time the media asked about their expectations, whether they’d contend, etc. they were like “there’s nothing we can say we just have to try to prove it”.

  9. maybe we were just cursed by Franklin this whole time and hip hop the black jerseys and nobody still trusting the process is all we needed to finally win a chip
