Uh what’s uh what’s what’s Andre’s status uh for tonight? Uh he’ll be a game time decision. Okay. Nothing new, no change or saw another fell in red right out there today with Burr. Just nice to see him progress from kind of skating on his own for the last couple weeks to today’s skate. Yeah, I mean as a player it’s the worst to be out, right? And then what’s even worse than that is to be out there by yourself. So just even to get out with the guys and be able to feel like you’re part of the team again goes a long way for your um your mental recovery and obviously his physical recovery has come along nicely. What what kind of conversations have you have you had with the group regarding penalties and the need to be more disciplined? Just Yeah, I mean we’ve had a couple and uh you know the first time obviously it didn’t either didn’t resonate or we just didn’t um put ourselves in the right spots. uh when I look at it, I don’t think they’re undisiplined penalties necessarily after the whistle and you know kind of taking selfish penalties. That’s the biggest concern. And then the next concern is we’ve taken too many in the ozone and too many with the sticks and the hold. So it’s just it’s just being more diligent in that area, getting body position, I think probably more important than anything else. And they have to come down. I mean we we’re shooting ourselves in the foot in that regard. The five on five game is strong. Is there typically this time of year too there are more whistles. Is that I don’t know if it’s part of it at all or whatsoever and and and and like you said just the to fight against it. I mean do you do you expect that right now there’s you know the refs are going to be a little bit more not whistle happy but that there’s just going to be a little bit more around this time of year. Yeah I think that’s how it goes historically. Uh but it doesn’t mean that we have to be among the tops in the league taking them. You know what I mean? And so we can say that, but it’s on us. It’s on us to make sure that we’re uh you know, maybe up over what our average would be, but certainly not where we’re at now. Timing may be fortunate here, but to get Phoenix back when, you know, Darcy has dealing with a little minor thing. How nice is it to be able to add a goalie to the group who everyone is very familiar with and who is obviously familiar with you guys? Yeah, I mean that’s great. Uh, you know, for us, um, he’s somebody that fits in, has played very well for us in the Kings jersey, so knows his way around, knows the guys. There’s no um get to know you period there at all and I haven’t had a chance to speak with him yet. I hope he’s happy to be back. Um um but he’s somebody that we really really lean on and and he’s somebody you can always trust. He’s got the greatest attitude, good teammate. So those guys, you can’t have enough of them in your locker room. That that time of year too when you’ve got to make those those cuts whatsoever. I mean I imagine you guys probably didn’t even want to lose them in the first place, you know. No, you never you never No, it’s but those are the rules, right? there’s opportunity. Um, you know, he’s on waivers, so he’s got a chance to go get picked up. Um, but yeah, we’re we’re really happy to have him back.
