Well that is bad for everyone, damn.
Yeah, this sounds like it’s a serious mental health issue. Fuckin feel for the kid, I hope he’s getting the right help that he needs. If that is why he left so abruptly and at such a weird hour, then he made the right choice to seek family instead of the alternative.
I don’t understand any more than I did last week. I hope everything is ok.
Damn, this makes it sound really bad. Just have to hope the best for the guy at this point.
This seems like a really bad scenario hopefully everything figures itself out
Obviously I want the kid to be fine and I’d love for him to come back sooner than later but only if he’s good.
But I swear to christ if all of this ends up getting blown out of proportion in the end and turns out to just be NFL media doing NFL media things, I think I’m just done consuming any of it. NFL media has been insufferable lately. I know this is Nate though and he’s far from the folks I’m talking about.
Hope it all works out for him.
But damn the Chiefs luck with tackles continues lol.
This is starting to worry me. Don’t get me wrong i was already concerned but I’ve never seen anything like this where everything is hush hush. It must be pretty fucking serious. You’re in our thoughts buddy, hope everything turns out ok for him.
Bro is dealing with some shit and everybody is up his ass. Must be fun.
This did nothing but give me anxiety so thanks I guess. Hope Josh + family are okay.
Take your time, Josh
Sending this man some good energy. Hoping his strength will win the day for him and his family.
Well whatever that means seems less than ideal. This feels more vague and ominous than anything we’ve had on this before. Reading between the lines it seems like possibly a mental health type of situation, but framing it as a family matter certainly muddies the waters. Hope the best for him.
Obviously he loves football, else he wouldn’t have made the highlight reel tackle on the interception during the Eagles game. Half the team had already given up, but he turns on the jets and makes the tackle. I’m not going to question a guy’s want-to after that. Personal stuff is personal.
Are we certain this whole statement is legit? I’ve only found part of the quote. I haven’t found the part about maybe being out a month or longer.
What the fuck does this even mean. This reads like a reporter trying to be framed as “in the know” without actually knowing shit, then vaguely alluding to things that if he DID know, is probably the exact shit the Chiefs would be hoping to protect Simmons from hearing or reading.
Give the kid his fucking privacy and stop pretending like there’s a vested public interest like this is an elected official.
Literally all Nate Taylor has done this week is make everyone panic with the vague ominous bullshit he’s put out there. If you can’t give anyone clarity on the situation then you may as well keep your mouth shut instead of talking like it’s doom and gloom.
We ❤️ you Josh #71.
Man.. I really hope for nothing but the best for him, at this point I’m more curious than anything about wtf happened
Just so everyone knows, this is not a verbatim quote of what Nate said. There are additional comments that were interspersed in his report. It looks like what he said has been edited to fit the graphic.
One thing that isn’t included in the above graphic that is very newsworthy is that Nate was told that Simmons’ addition to the injury report against Jacksonville was related to why he disappeared Sunday, which probably narrows what he’s heard about what’s going on.
What is the point of “FROM WHAT I HEARD!!!!!!! jdkskdhdjkd d jdjdj jddjdjdjd hdbdheisu” dude. Relax until you can say what you heard. This just makes people panic.
Sounds more and more like someone going through a very serious trauma response to a tragic family emergency which is probably why all the secrecy. The last thing Josh (anyone) needs in a scenario like that is a bunch of unempathetic freaks online and on tv talking about how “Well I had such and such happen to my family and I didn’t react in such and such way so what’s his PROBLEM?!?”
“Plays again this season?” I didn’t know him not playing again was on the table. Man I hope he’s okay. Sending all positive thoughts and vibes his way.
I miss Terez, especially in times like these
Ngl, this makes it sound like the dude got a cancer diagnosis and asked the team for privacy while he explores treatment options. I sincerely hope that isn’t the case
Wtf a month from now, or he may not play the rest of the season

All speculation. Nothing new
It’s none of my business but I definitely want to know what’s going on!
FFS. Why can’t reporters just the Simmons topic alone until Coach Reid gets behind a podium and tells us he practiced?
I personally think someone in his family committed suicide but I don’t fucking know. I know if someone close to me did that I’d be out of it for a while.
Moore signing could arguably go down as Veach’s greatest signing
Guys, everyone, please…
This is one of those instances where we all back the fuck off.
I probably could forget about it if they’d stop updating me and telling me nothing.
