Patrick Kane joins the panel after Red Wings win over Panthers | NHL on TNT
We are ready. Patrick Kane. Showtime. Showtime joining us right now. Patrick, thanks so much for coming on. Appreciate congrats on the win. We were talking about how this team just looks a little bit different maturity wise, even though there are so many young guys on the ice. It just felt like this is a team that knows what it’s supposed to do, goes out, does it, and can handle a little adversity throughout the game. Are you feeling differently about this club? Yeah, for sure. I think um you know just with um Todd coming in last year and kind of implementing some things about uh the way we wanted to play and then um you know some good roster moves over the summer. Um obviously we’ve added some youth with um you know a lot of speed and um guys that can play physical as well. So, um, you know, I think we’re feeling pretty good about our group in here. And we’ve talked about that, you know, game management type of stuff when, uh, kind of knowing where you’re at in the game, whether you have a lead or, um, you know, what the score is and and certain important shifts and, you know, at the end of the periods, things like that. So, um, that’s been a main focus here, uh, throughout training camp and the start of the season. Patrick Hank here, congrats on the win. Uh, you’re looking incredible out there. How would you rate your your own game right now? how you feel physically and technically for us watching. You look like the going back 10 years here. You’re flying out there. Yeah. Thanks. Um I’m waiting for Biz to to ask me how I feel. I know that question. Oh, it’s coming. Oh, it’s coming. Don’t worry. Every every time I’m on, I know that one’s coming. So, I’ll save uh I’ll save my answer for that one coming up. But um you know I I mean I mean I think there’s always things you can improve on and get better at. I mean I’d like to have the puck a little bit more throughout the game and um you know I think our our line can have some more shifts in the offensive zone and um you know create some pressure down there and some some momentum. So um yeah there’s you know I mean my I’m feeling good uh feeling good about where I’m at but um there’s always things you you think you can improve on and get better at. Kainer, we’re running out of time and we got to throw it to the next game. I look forward to watching you in the Olympics though, buddy. All right. Yeah, thanks. That would be amazing. Um, appreciate that, Patrick. Thanks so much for your time. Really appreciate it. We’re game designer.

Show the islanders……. I ❤ me some islanders.
Maintenance lady really pissed this interview was happening in the hallway. She was having nothing of it.
It would be interesting to see if he makes the Olympic team. However, Team USA always screws it up for the Olympics. If everyone from Canada is healthy going into Olympics, they will be tough to beat. Crosby will be on a mission 🙂
Showtime is worth the price of admission alone. Glad to see the wings turning it around.
LGRW!!!
The Olympics is the last thing this team needs this year. 4 nations face off completely derailed their momentum last season.
Getting closer to 500. Hopefully he get #500 at a home game matters most to us.
Just chipping away 88
show-time!
