What Jets could get for Breece Hall, Quinnen Williams, and Jermaine Johnson trades

Most of the time Andy when a
team is Owen 6, I mean no team in NFL. History is made the
playoffs, our own six, the Jets are not going to be the first That’s when it’s a fire sale and
that’s when it is. We’re blowing this thing up.
We’re tearing it apart. Anyone who wants our guys come and get
them will trade you for the pick, the highest bidder,
you guys get him. And we’re
good, that’s what they do. It’s kind of unique because I don’t think the
Jets can go full fire sale because there’s still like Pride factor and a competing factor and that
they’ve been so bad the last couple years, I don’t think
They’re really willing to like bottom out, I don’t I don’t get
that sense with them. With that said there are players
that are that teams are calling on. So I made a handful of crawls over
the last probably a week or so. Especially the last
24 48 hours, just to kind of give an idea of what I’ve been
hearing. From NFL sources. Teams are calling the Jets on
Bruce Hall, teams are calling the jet Saint-Germain Johnson. I
heard teams of called on Will McDonald. Quinn and Williams is somebody
that there are people around the NFL that believe that he is.
Mobile, there’s from what I’ve heard for some people,
there’s quinton’s, very passionate
player. And Quinn is a guy who’s been here for a very long
time, and is very sick of losing. I think he’s somebody that might
welcome a change if the package was right, but the
Jets aren’t going to give him
away. Like that would be a substantial
offer Michael Carter. The corner and Allen
Lazard as well. As far as just specifically the value that I
have heard tied to these players. If so to give fans just a
general idea of what front office sources across the NFL,
believe they could get for these guys. Bruce Hall who tweeted out free
20 last night and I don’t know if you saw that one. That was
that was quite just something to show up on Instagram briefs Hall. Did you say last week? Yeah. So I’m going to
I’m going to tell you, I’m going to tell you what I
heard these players could Fetch and you tell me if you would do
it if you’re the Jets. Does that sound like a fun game
to play? Yeah, so I’ll tell me it’s going to depend on who we get rid of, if I’m
Willing to get rid of other guys. But yeah. Okay. So yeah,
this is just general idea of who you do. So with Bruce Hall, I heard that. I talked to two
literally six front office sources on this and I hate
doing, I make fun of Ryan Dunleavy. The New York Post for
doing this all the time, because any time
he writes a feature that’s Source, he tells you, like, I
talked to 13 this 13 that, but just so you guys know, like,
I’m, I talked to two general managers to assistant general managers, a
director of pro personnel and also a head coach, and they help
me piece this all together. Bruce Hall. I was told he is a good player
explosive player. There are questions about his
willingness to get the tough yards. He is also quote a rent,
a player. What that means is that because
he’s on the final year of his deal, whatever team trades for
him, is going to have to pay him or franchise tag in which
drops his value down. Because of that I heard most likely
you’re looking at a fifth round, pick for Bruce Hall. The best-case scenario for the
Jets is that they might be able to pit two contending teams against
each other and get a fourth-round pick if they Let
him play out this season and then go to free agency. They
might be able to get a third or a fourth round pick, probably
not third most likely fourth-round pick and
compensatory value, but that’s not going to come
until 2027. So they want to 2026 pick, they got a trade
them, most likely fifth potentially a fourth. I asked a
general manager about the idea of the Jets, could get a third,
and he said, quote way way, way too rich unquote. So that’s
probably not going to happen. So would you deal briefs for a
four or five? Probably not just because what
what are you can do on offense? Okay, you’re down Braylon Alan. Like I just think like for your from your overall
point from the beginning, like they can’t do it, they can’t do
the whole fire sale thing because they just signed to young players to huge deals and like, what’s that going to
do for them? You know, two young players are
already frustrated with the losing so I think like that
has to be factored in and you’d
be doing a guy like Garrett, no
favors. Jermaine Johnson. I was told on him that calls have been made in
regards to Jermaine Johnson and one team that had communication
with the Jets told me that their asking price right now is
quote, too high aaden. Tell me what it was. He
didn’t get into the specifics, but he said when the Jets and
this team had conversations about Jermaine Johnson, who
traded remain Johnson. The Jets asking price was too rich for
this team so they so they backed out of it. I talk to a coach about Johnson
and What he believed his value was with Johnson. And I heard definitely A3 obviously The Jets quote, probably could
get it to because there is team control and Johnson. Now,
they’re not going to get a first round pick because this
is a guy that was already dealing with an injury and Miss
time. This year coming off the Achilles injury
last year, but he has team control the fifth year option of
next year, he’s been a pro bowl player. He’s a leader
within the locker room, good pass rush. I don’t think a great
pass rusher, good pass rusher, very good run stuff for edging.
He’s a he’s a ten year starter in the NFL
defensive end. They might be able to get it to
probably a three. Would you do? Al Johnson for either of those
two. I think if it got up to it to,
you have to seriously consider it but you know I wouldn’t want to I think like
he like you just said is true like he ever there’s all the
signs of him having a really really you
know close to Top End next five years of his career
and they’re going to need specifically like a Savvy experience pass rusher. So you know, I would there’s other
guys, I would trade you know who who would fetch more value
before him. But if you’re getting down to it
and you can’t part ways with anybody and it’s you’re getting
a second, I could see it happening. But yeah, I would
make that a last resort if I were in charge Will McDonald. I heard it was
going to. The Jets would be looking for like a one or
something like that. I don’t think any teams going to give
him up so I don’t even know if that’s worth talking about. Like
I don’t think of teams going to give up a 1/4. Well I
don’t think the Jets we willing to do
that. Quite and Williams is a
fascinating one, anything for Quinn and starts
with a one and most likely something else,
a one in a Or potentially a one, and a three. I think if you get a first and a
third round, pick from a team, like the Dallas Cowboys
for Quintin Williams at that offers on the table and you from the Jets aren’t necessarily
willing to redo his contract because
he’s out of guaranteed money next year. So he’s going to want
his base salary, even converted to guaranteed or
converted to a converted to signing bonus,
which would give him the money right away. If you’re not
willing to do that and the Cowboys come at you and say,
we’ll give you a 1 and a 4 or 1 and a 3. I think you have to do
that. I think that’s all. Legitimate pick when you’re
trying to rebuild this roster. Yeah, I don’t think I mean I
think it’s like the right thing to do by
him as well. Like he’s you know, not his
instead everything. Perfect hasn’t been perfect this time
here. Obviously, you know showed the frustration
with the Rogers departure and all that but like that’s the
point he’s super frustrated. He’s like you said he’s a guy who won his whole life and
then he came here and it’s been nothing but this. So yeah, you know, he’s tried to
obviously be more. It seems like he’s trying to be
more engaged the leader this year like saying more of the
right things. But you know, the frustration has to be at an
all-time high and you know the value is there and you don’t really
know how much longer be on next year. He’s going to be here. So
all of that combined, it makes sense to move on. I
think it just makes sense into many ways. And I think that
there’s a good chance of that happening because I think some
team is going to want him. Yeah, Michael Carter. Nickelback I
heard day 3. Pick like 656 something like that. That
he’s been falling out of favor. He’s been injured a lot. I think
if you get that, the Jets probably do it and then you just
hand the nickel job print to Brownlee. Yes, really, really good in London. If you’ve got, I mean even a
fifth. Again, I hate to this guy’s one of the best slot
corners and the league the last few years,
but it has been, you know, since the injuries
last year and it is, it’s not look the same this year. I don’t
think, I don’t think they’d get a fifth. I think I don’t think anybody’s gonna
give that to them, but if they got it, it would, it would be
the right stay. There would be the right move. Yeah last one. This is funny Allen
Lazard. I was basically told like the best case scenario with
lizard is it’s like Lazard and a seven for a six. Maybe like
maybe a team, does that? And even then they actually one team
told me the Jets might actually give a
lizard and a 6 to get a seven like something like that. Just
to try to offload them. So I think if you can, I think if
you can move Lazard for literally anything you do it,
anything you can get from you do, Yeah. I mean yeah. I don’t think that’s gonna
happen if it. Yeah, I think it’s somehow get
something out of it. That would be great. I mean, Joe Douglas
made a couple of those trades. We were like hot. Why? Why? Why did are already training?
Who is the sum of the Vikings? Who wasn’t
it was though? I’m backer Blake Cashman and we were all like oh
my God. How do you have it in cash? Was like a pro bowler. I
cashman’s on believe ya? Think they should not have gotten
anything back for him? Yes. Hey, it’s you. That’s pretty much everything
for the trades. I think we’re pretty much in lockstep and E
with everything. Ultimately, I think you’ll probably see two
guys traded from the Jets. I’m just not sure which Quentin
would be. The one I’d keep an eye on because you can get a
1 and a 3 for him. I think I think you really have
to do that. I do. I think that’s such a ridiculous haul
back, especially from the Cowboys who could I don’t
know they’re weird team with their
wins and losses. There’s lots of the Panthers
