BIG MOVE COMING? Miami Dolphins Trade Rumors On Jaylen Waddle Are HEATING UP!
[Music] It does not make me happy to make this video, but could Jaylen Wadd potentially be on the move before the November 4th NFL trade deadline? Well, there is a Giants reporter out there that said New York is big game hunting before the trade deadline at the wide receiver position. And there have been multiple fans speculating and writing fanfiction that this could be about a Jaylen Wadd trade. And honestly, if we’re going to be straight up, it disgusts me. There are a lot of players on the Dolphins that don’t deserve to be here long term. Jaylen Wadd is not one of them. He is one of your building blocks. And I could understand if you get offered an unbelievable good package to move off of Jaylen Wadd to start up a rebuild. I do understand that line of thinking. But when you factor in all of the positives around Wadd, age, contract, production, it does not make sense whatsoever to trade him. But we are going to get into all of the reports and rumors around the Giants and Jaylen Waddle. But make sure you’re subscribed and have your notifications turned on because we drop two videos every single day and we go live three times a week. So click that notification bell icon. And how about this? 59.1% of our viewers are not subscribed. Change that. Join the channel and make sure those notifications are turned on. All right. This is the report. comes in from SNY Connor Hughes. He said just the other day on Wednesday that multiple sources familiar with the discussions told SNY that the New York Giants have been aggressive in its pursuit of adding a pass catcher for rookie quarterback Jackson Dart. It takes two sides to make a deal and it remains to be seen how much the Giants are willing to give up, but sources said the team is big game hunting. And the three wide receivers that have been speculated to be moved potentially before the trade deadline or be one of the wide receivers talked about in these reports by Giants reporters is Chris Olive from the New Orleans Saints, Jaylen Wadd from the Miami Dolphins and Jacobe Meyers by the Las Vegas Raiders. Now this is all like corroborated if you will by our guy Pretty Ricky or not Pretty Ricky anymore. Ricky Scoops is the name used to go by pretty Ricky who returned from retirement on Twitter and tweeted out about how the Patriots are being aggressive at wide receiver. The Saints are listening on Chris Olive for the first time ever. The Raiders are likely to trade Jacobe Meyers and that the Dolphins may have a fire sale where they trade Jaylen Phillips and Bradley Chub, but they’re also receiving calls on Jaylen Wadd and Devon Ach. That doesn’t mean they’re actively negotiating on Wadd or Ham, but that report does indicate Miami is not hanging up and they are getting calls on those two young weapons at running back and wide receiver. Well, another reporter for the Giants, Ryan Dunlevy, when asked how likely are the Giants to trade for a wide receiver before the November 4th deadline said higher than 50%. And it does feel like with all of the momentum in New York right now with Jackson Dart and that young offense, even though they are two and four and a team that is unlikely to make the playoffs slashcontend in the NFC this season, they are looking to add a wide receiver to help out Dart the rest of the season, but also be a long-term piece for them when Malik Neighbors returns from his injury the following season. So before we get my thoughts and more, pin comment, be the GM. Would you consider trading away Jaylen Wadd for the right price? Type Y for yes, type N for no. Pin comment. Go give me your thoughts. So here is the trade offer that was offered by Marshall Green and Giants. Now I’ve also already seen it on Twitter by multiple different fans and other reporters, if you will. It was a 2026 second round pick and a 2027 fifth round pick coming to Miami for Jaylen Wy. I don’t know how I have to say this. I’ll try to be nice. This is a ridiculous and insulting offer. It is. And maybe I just think really highly on Jaylen Wild and he’s my favorite player and I want to stick around. But for Miami to part with Jaylen Wadd and for me to even think about it starts at a first round pick bare minimum and then we can have a legit conversation about trading Jaylen Wadd. I think it would be borderline malpractice and a fireable offense on spot if you traded away Jaylen Wadd for anything less than a first. Why do I think he is worth at least a first round pick? One, he’s only 26 years old. He’s got a lot of shelf life left in him. And yeah, he had a serious injury while at Alabama. And yeah, he’s picked up some minor injuries throughout his NFL career, but none major. None major at all. So, there’s no really injury history there since he’s entered the NFL. He’s had a thousand yards in every season he’s been in the National Football League besides one, and that was last season when he had the deal with Tyler Huntley, Tim Bole, and Skyler Thompson for a combination of six games. He has three years left of team control. He begins his three-year contract extension next year, and it is a very fair contract. We’ll show it coming up here in a second. He’s also one of the most dynamic weapons in the NFL. He is without a question, when you just look at pure speed and shiftiness, top five, top seven in the National Football League at wide receiver. But his route running is a part of his game that doesn’t get talked about enough. When people look at Jaylen Wadd, they just think speed, deep threat ability, which is fair. He’s elite at those things, but he has really improved as a route runner in the intermediate, the 8 to 15 yard range, whether it’s inb breakers, out routes. He has really honed in on his craft. And you combine that route running with his speed and he becomes one of the more dangerous wide receivers that you have to game plan against and be concerned about as an opposing defense every single week. Now, the one negative on Wadd is certainly his issues dropping the football, but the positives outweigh the negatives by an absolute landslide. We’re going to get to more on Wadd here in a second, but this episode is brought to you by Mando. And boy, I trust Mando to make sure I am always the best smelling person in the world. Here it is. signed a three-year extension a couple offseasons ago. Still on his rookie contract this year, so he starts in 2026. He’s got absolutely no cap hit. I mean, it’s a backloaded deal, but it’s still a good one, man. Like, the fact that he’s under contract for $1.2 million base and only a 3.8% cap hit of 11.6 mil next season is one of the biggest bargains of a contract, I think, in the entire National Football League. I I I really do believe that. And even when it takes a massive bump up in 27 and 28 where he takes up 10% of the cap in each of those two seasons per projections of where the cap will increase, it’s still at 33.8 and 37.2. Listen, T. Higgins just got paid $30 million. I think Wadd is a better overall receiver than T. Higgins. And I think that’s abundantly obvious. I also think that when we see the inflation of the cap continue to increase, wide receivers are going to continue to get 35, 38, $40 million on their contracts as an AAV as we get more and more extensions coming into the works. So with that extension already put in, Waddle is going to be fair market value or borderline a bargain in two to three years. And if you feel as if it’s not, you can always do a mini contract restructure to lower that cap. Like we mentioned it earlier, Wadd has had a thousand yards in every year of his career besides last season. He’s on pace currently to have 82 receptions,00 yards and about eight and a half touchdowns. Like the guy is a certified wide receiver one. Does he have issues with the drops like I mentioned? Yes. Is he the best contested catch guy? Absolutely not. But he gets open consistently and he stresses the opposing defenses with his blazing speed. And it’s not like this is a guy who has seen the success he has seen because he’s been opposite of Tyreek Hill who has guarded the most attention. No, as a rookie, he had, 100 yards and he had 100 receptions. And in the last two weeks without Tyreek Hill, he has combined for 205 yards, 12 receptions, and a touchdown against two teams that have been relatively solid defensively. Again, he’s their only really deep receiving threat. People aren’t concerned about Malik Washington. They ain’t concerned about Nick Westperini. They’re barely concerned about Darren Waller. Now, Jaylen Wadd is the only receiving threat Miami has on the outside, and they still can’t stop him. You’re not trading this for anything less than a first round pick, you shouldn’t trade it at all. But if you did, and you need further evidence that anything less than a first round pick would be egregious and malpractice. Let’s take a look at the last five wide receiver trades that fit the same bill in my opinion in terms of age under the age of 30 and a true legit wide receiver one in the NFL. Tyreek Hill in Miami. The Dolphins traded a first, a second, two fourths, and a six to get Tyreek Hill. Is that what you’re going to get for Wadd? No. Tyreek Hill was a top three receiver in football. I have Wadd anywhere between the 12 to 17 range. Maris Brown was traded from the Cardinals to the Ravens. The Ravens gave up a first. Now, they did get a third in return, but the point remains that a first round pick was still swapped in that deal. AJ Brown going from Tennessee to Philly garnered a first and a third. Devonte Adams going from the Packers to Las Vegas, first and a second. Diggs traded the first time from Minnesota to Buffalo, a first, fourth, fifth, and a sixth. I think you can equally say Wadd due to his age, production, contract, being under a deal for three years, plus the team friendly rate of it puts him in the same category as these five guys that got traded over the last five to six years that all went for a first round pick and more. Chris Greer should not trade Jaylen Wadd regardless. But if Chris Greer ultimately traded Wadd before the November 4th trade deadline and did not get a first round pick in return, you should try him for war crimes. I am so serious. It would be, I think, one of the worst trades I have ever seen. If you do not get a first round pick back for Jaylen Waters, but as I mentioned, you should not trade him anyway. I just need the fanfiction to stop. I can’t do it. I am losing my mind. I tweeted it out. The fact that people believe that he should be traded for and all the team would have to give up as a second and fifth round pick, it kills me. And I’m looking at Giants fans in particular. I really am. I mean, the amount of tweets I’ve seen from these guys is unbelievable. And you want to know how I know it’s not fair enough value in return for Miami is because I have not seen one person on Giants Twitter since these rumors have started come out and say, “You know what, guys? I I think a second and a fifth round pick might be a little bit too much for Wadd.” Every single person goes, “Yeah, I’m doing that immediately.” Which means they’re trying to rob you. And I know it’s just the fans. It’s not what Joe Shane might be offering for Jaylen Wadd at this point, if he even has made a formal offer and Miami is listening. But the fact that you’ve seen media talking heads out there, say a second and fifth round pick, that’s just egregiously bad. And if I’m wrong and the Dolphins trade him for a second and fifth round pick, I’ll call hand up and say, “Man, I knew Chris Greer was bad. I didn’t realize he was the dumbest person on the planet.” That will do it for today’s show. Appreciate everybody for watching. Hopefully these rumors die down because I don’t want to trade Jaylen Wadd. But if they do trade 17, I will cry and it will be on a live show. Subscribe, turn on notifications, and join us for it. Jaylen Waddle trade rumors have been heating up in the days leading up to NFL Week 7 where Dolphins vs. Browns takes place. After the Tyreek Hill injury, Jaylen Waddle has been Tua Tagovailoa’s WR1 for the last two weeks of the 2025 NFL Season. Would Dolphins GM Chris Grier, who gave the Jaylen Waddle extension the green light, make a Jaylen Waddle trade ahead of the 2025 NFL Trade Deadline? It seems unlikely, but Waddle is among many potential Dolphins trade candidates, which also include Jaelan Phillips, Bradley Chubb, De’Von Achane and Jaylen Wright. I am an extremely huge Jaylen Waddle fan.
NO WAY on Waddle
Grier needs to go😮
So who is Tua supposed to throw the ball too? 😂🤦🏾♂️
Not Waddle. He is the reason I watch the Dolphins
Grier shouldn't trade a single player because he hopefulness be the general manager next year. He won't set the next general manager up correctly with draft picks.
im getting close to getting rid of my dolphins gear!!
No! It would have to be an outrageously awesome haul to trade him
They better not trade waddle im going to be pissed
Trade fucking Tua
Don't trade Phillips either
I have a bad feeling Grier might go full stupid and send Waddle to Buffalo
