So, this is shocking. I definitely did not expect this to happen, but the Charlotte Hornets are waving guard Spencer Denwidy. Sources tell ESPN Denwit, who is 11-year NBA veteran, signed a one-year deal with the Hornets in July free agency. Charlotte had to release a guaranteed salary ahead of the season opener next week. Now, the big question is, does Spencer Denwy find a new home before the NBA season starts or is it going to take a while for him to find another team? Now, when we look at Spencer Dim with these numbers last year, played 79 out of 82 games with the Dallas Mavericks and 27 minutes of action, 11 points, 4.4 assists. Now, I don’t think Spencer did what he is the greatest player. I think there’s moments where he’s good and there’s moments where he’s really bad. And you can kind of say that about every role player, right? But doesn’t have the greatest shot, not the greatest playmaker, you know, lacks a lot of stuff. But I still think he is a solid player at the end of the day, right? So, we’ll see what happens with that.
