Main issue is we’re too dumb to use his rushing. No idea where the zone reads have gone or if Justin refuses to rush now

We need rushing through instinct. He looks like a deer in headlights when in the pocket like he’s forcing himself to be there.
It’s lookin real grim, boys. HOWEVER, 0-17 in the middle of a historic playoff drought can put us in the history books. We have a chance to do something special this season.
He’s not an NFL qb. He has the same processing ability as Zach Wilson but has elite athleticism/speed to make up for it. Where as Wilson would hold the ball too long and spin move till he got sacked, Fields will hold the ball to long and sometimes gain yards running.

Horrible player and a horrible blunder by the team, They could have tried for a half dozen better far cheaper guys. Our backup is far better.

Pair him with Adam Gase and I’m pretty sure a singularity would be created that would destroy the universe.
Why is this a shock? At best Justin is what he was during the Steelers game, a run first QB that can maybe help an offense with accurate passing if first reads are open.
This was a bridge QB with a low ceiling and rock bottom floor. Capable of great athleticism and also capable of some of the worst QB play possible.
Difference between him and ZW is that Fields can run exceptionally well. Both can’t read D’s. Both can’t throw anticipation. Both mostly throw passes that are inaccurate. And overall, streaky would be a compliment for either.
