[BREAKING] DANIELLE HUNTER TO THE COWBOYS? JERRY JONES HINTS AT MASSIVE TRADE DEADLINE MOVE

Before we make some picks on games this weekend, let’s go back to one that Willie C got right. Love the Panthers this weekend. Dallas on the road again. Panthers 2 and 0 at home. This is a Rico Dowel revenge game. Look at him last week. 23 carries over 200 yards, 169 after contact. Like he said in response to coach Shotty, get your seat belt. Buckle up. I love the Panthers. The question is being raised. Is that the same shirt? Yes. Yes. I I have a couple that, you know, I got a little rolodex of two, maybe three, but this is the same shirt from last week. You only own two or three shirts. Well, there’s just a couple go-tos you want to have. You don’t want to think about it too much when you walk in the car. No, I understand that. Get this shirt washed. Let’s go. All right. Let’s play a game. Let’s play a game of who you got cuz we know that at week see I’m getting done here. All right. And finally, Will, how about Commanders Cowboys? Who you like? I like the Commanders. I got to stick with the Commanders here. They do have some question marks after the Chicago game. the way that they were uh Chicago was having success running the football. Washington came into that game one of the better run defense. They were playing a lot better, especially when you look at last year, but uh Chicago was able to expose them a little bit in that area. I know CD Lamb’s coming back for the Cowboys, but they still have to fix that defense. It’s still broken like the McDonald’s ice cream machine. So, I like uh the Commanders here. Let’s stop down on that game for a minute here. Cowboys command. is a big game, a ve a very important game with both of them coming off losses last weekend in games that you figured they probably would win. So, if I were to say to you to crystallize it down to one thing, what does this game come down to? Washington’s defense, and they’re not a playoff team unless that defense gets better. This has been a bad defense so far this year. Right now, this defense gives up 13 yards per completion in the NFL. That’s an astronomical number. And unless they get better or make a move at the trade deadline, this is a defense run-wise that’s been okay. They’ve got matchup problems on their back end. Dorance Armstrong’s really been the guy that could get after the passer. He’s got a hamstring injury. This game’s not about the Cowboys defense. We talked about them enough this year. This game’s about Washington defense. They have to get better or that defense will keep them out of the playoffs. Well, the as for the Cowboys, the comparisons I’m getting here all week are to Burough’s Bengals of a year ago. offense so good, but defense so bad it keeps them out of the playoffs. If they get CD Lamb back this week, and it looks like they’re going to, what is this offense going to be? I think this offense is able to score enough points to outscore the worst defense in the league, which is the Cowboys defense because it gives them George Pickkins and CD Lamb, especially when you look at the Washington Commanders last week against the Bears, they gave up so many perimeter runs to Swift, like 10 plus yard runs. and down the field to Dan’s point of 13 yards per reception. You have two number one receivers. By TD being out, George Pickkins has kind of stepped in and he’s kind of like gotten used to this offense. He’s gotten comfortable with Dak Prescott and now you’re going to add CD Lamb back into the lineup. You can’t cover them one-on-one. You can’t double one and leave the other one exposed and it’s going to be tough for the Commander defense. It’s I think it’s interesting getting CD Lamb back because George Pickins has done such a good job since CD Lamb’s been off the field. What happens when he has to now have the ball can only go to one guy at one time? What does happen a week a couple weeks ago we sat here we’re like someone’s got to get in George P’s ear and tell them hey if you ball out this year you’re going to get 25 $30 million a year he’s been doing that since then but C L they’re going they’re going to have to make a decision of somebody to take away you’re still going to see one and Dak Prescott is playing in a way where the number one receiver is the guy who’s open and him just know how he’s still just as important as everybody else even if he’s not getting the ball to but this is the biggest question like if you want to know what George Pickkins is going to be whether he’s going to get the contract be the number one guy it will be when CD Lamb gets back into this lineup. Are you are you only a Batman guy or can you be a Robin as well? Not that he’s going to be a Robin, but his ability to still be productive like we’ve seen him without CD Lamb is kind of what we’re looking at. So, you don’t think he’s answered the question of being a number one receiver? Absolutely. I don’t think that was a question. I think everyone understood he has the talent to be a number one receiver. Pittsburgh understood it. Dallas Cowboys understood it. But with CD back it to the line number one guys with Dallas and how bad their defense is. I actually don’t think it will because they have to score so much that they’re going to throw the ball 40 to 45 times a game. I would actually argue as outrageous as it sounds the Cowboys should not kick field goals once you pass the 50 yardd line unless it’s like fourth and six plus. If I was Dallas, my defense is as bad as it is. Fourth and six, fourth and five or less. I’m going for it all the time because those two receivers I’m going to steal possessions in that way. I don’t think this becomes an issue. I was going to bring that up. Exactly. The good news for if you’re George Pickkins is we have to score 40 in every game, right? And if if a team against Jamar Chase, there’s that many there’ll be that many opportunities for them out there. That’s my question. I’m looking up here as a Compton. You’ve got the the commanders in this game and you said it originally at the beginning also. So, you’re not buying into it? I have been trying to make the case this week that the Cowboys defense has to get a little better. No offense is no defense is this bad. You can’t be this ridiculously bad all year long. I think the Cowboys, they’re this bad. But hey, he was saying you need him to score more than the worst defense in the league, which is the Cowboys. The only flaw with that is like the Cowboys are averaging 30 on offense. They’re they give up 31 per game defensively. So, it’s kind of I’d love to take go for it no matter what. Once you cross the 50 yard line, you know, once you give the ball back to the other team, they’re getting points. So, why not keep it with your quarterback and two star receivers and go for it on fourth down? Adopt like Dan Campbell’s mindset. Once you go past the 50, we’re going for We’ll see with the Eagles looking like they’ve opened the door a little bit in the NFC East. We see if one of these two teams Could I ask one more question? Taylor and I Taylor was bringing this question up last night on the plan. He was saying, “Hey, winner of this game takes the East.” That is what I’m bring That’s what I’m saying. The Eagles have opened the door a little bit. What he said? I think we all thought it was the Commander, but also Hey, real quick. I know no one said this yet. Does the winner of this game take these? Let me I was just asking that question. Let me just throw one more thing before we get Jess back in here. Let’s do it side by side. Who wore it best? Was it uh did did Will Compton wear this shirt better last week or this week? So, one week you go with it open. Hey, you see I got the fade going on right now. Who cut your hair? What’s the name? They shaved it. Cowboys Nation, here we go again. The trade deadline is right around the corner and the buzz in Dallas is starting to heat up. After years of staying patient and calculated, Jerry Jones might be getting ready to make another bold move. And this time, the name on the radar could change everything. Denil Hunter, the Houston Texans pass rushing beast. Now, let’s set the stage. Jerry Jones has made it clear. If there’s a move that can make this team better, he’s ready to pull the trigger. Over the last seven years, Dallas has made six inseason trades before the deadline. From Amari Cooper in 2018 to Jonathan Mingo last season. Jerry doesn’t talk just to talk. When he says the Cowboys are open for business, that’s not smoke. That’s preparation. Right now, Dallas sits in the middle of a makeorb breakak stretch. If they win these next two games, they’ll have momentum, confidence, and the justification to go allin before November 4. Jerry himself said it, “If we see a way to improve this year with a trade at the deadline, we’ll take advantage of it.” And when you look at how this defense has been performing dead last in yards allowed, it’s clear where the help is needed. That’s where Denil Hunter comes in. Cowboys fans, imagine that star on his helmet. Hunter has been one of the most feared edge rushers in football for a decade. Four sacks in five games this year, ranking eighth in the entire league in sack percentage. His get off time is just 0.84 seconds, top 10 among all defenders. The man is a nightmare for quarterbacks, and he’s not slowing down at 31. He’s a Texas native, born and raised for this kind of moment. The type of player who could immediately transform Dallas’s pass rush and stabilize this struggling defense. For the Texans, it might make sense to move on. They’ve got big extensions coming for CJ Strad and Will Anderson Jr., and their playoff chances are fading. Hunter’s contract runs through next season. And with Dallas holding extra first round picks from the Micah Parsons deal, the Cowboys have the draft capital to make it happen and the motivation to strike before it’s too late. Let’s be honest, this defense needs a spark. They’ve been out of sync, missing tackles, giving up huge plays, and struggling to stop the run. Hunter could change that overnight. He’s not just a sack artist. He’s physical, relentless, and one of the best rundefending edges in the league. He brings leadership, swagger, and that dog mentality this defense has been missing since Parson’s left. Jerry Jones said it best. If there’s a trade that would help the defense, we’re in position to make that trade. He’s not promising anything yet, but the door is wide open. And you can bet he’s watching these next two games closely. If the Cowboys can string together wins, if Dak Prescott and the offense keep rolling with CD Lamb and George Pickkins lighting up the scoreboard, Jerry will smell blood. And when that happens, anything is possible. So, here’s the question for Cowboys Nation. Should Dallas go allin for Denil Hunter? Should they trade some of that draft ammo to fix this defense once and for all? Or should they stay patient, trust the young guys coming back from injury, and ride it out? Let me know what you think down below because this is the kind of move that could flip the season upside down. Hit that like button if you think Jerry needs to make the call and subscribe right now to Dallas game day for every trade rumor, locker room update and break line as it happens. Because if Denil Hunter walks through those doors at the star, this defense won’t just get better, it could become dangerous again.

Jerry Jones just dropped a hint that could shake up the NFL — the Cowboys might be eyeing Texans star Danielle Hunter before the trade deadline. With the defense struggling and the season hanging in the balance, Dallas could be ready to make another blockbuster move. Here’s what it would mean for the Cowboys’ future.
