Josh Naylor and the Mariners strike first with a blast in Game 4 of the ALCS💥

Second we go in a scoreless game. Mariners lead this series two games to one. Josh Naylor leads off this inning. Comes up empty on a first pitch fast ball from Max Scherzer. Making his first start in three weeks. Got through that first inning. That’s been the big hurdle for him. Here’s a highf fly ball deep center field. Verso to the track. Verso to the wall. It’s gone. Josh Miller goes deep and the Mariners are on the board first. Well, left it up and it was a question of whether or not this man was going to rob it. And just outside the glove and another good start here at home for Seattle. They saw this yesterday, but it didn’t last very long. It’s the eighth home run of this series for the Mariners. 14 of their 18 runs have come off the long ball. Naylor’s second. The ball flying out of here yesterday like it was Kors Field. Eight home runs between the teams combined. Two and0 on Suarez. This was the most home runs this park has seen in a game in two years. 20 strike one. Not a fun lineup statistically for Sher to go against with all the power that the Mariners have. And Sherzer the worst home run rate in baseball. Even when he was at his best, home runs were always a part of it. Flipped into right for Barger. One gone in the second inning. Now, for those of you that uh have been with us, not seen the finish of this game, Dodgers again shut down the Milwaukee Brewers, who one of the best offensive teams in baseball this year. Just three runs on nine hits over the first three games. And if you’re flipping over from that game and watching this one now, you just miss Josh Naylor going deep to start the scoring.

  8. Who cares about the MLB playoffs, the World Baseball Classic in 2026 is better anyways as players will be playing for their home countries at that time. I'm greatly looking forward to seeing and watching Josh Naylor represent my home country of CANADA at the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

  11. No matter who wins, it'll be frustrating, but I think the Dodgers will win back-to-back championships.
    It would have been better if the Mets had made it to the postseason in the National League.
    There's a chance the Dodgers would have lost in the WCS.

  13. I've been a mariners fan since I was 2 in 1977. I'm getting that sinking feeling again. It wouldn't surprise me if they lost in 6, losing 4 straight to the blue jays. I feel like a beaten wife. I now it's not good for me but I keep letting myself hope this time will be different.

  17. I have never been more pissed off at the Seattle Mariners. They can’t hit anything — it’s absolutely pathetic. Luis Castillo was out there pitching like it was Little League. I’m actually furious that the Blue Jays get another home game while Seattle just folds like this. We’re officially cooked. Guess it’s ‘Go Dodgers’ now, because our so-called home team can’t do a damn thing
