Josh Rosen is now pursuing a Master’s degree in business #nfl #football #sports #arizonacardinals

remember Josh Rosen. There were nine mistakes ahead of made ahead of me and I um I will make sure over over the next decade or so that they they will they will know that they made a mistake. Rosen was projected as a top 15 pick and he was selected 10th overall by the Arizona Cardinals. He was deemed to be the most pro ready quarterback in that 2018 draft drawing comps to Eli Manning and Matt Ryan. Rosen had arm talent and good poise under pressure which is why the Cardinals traded up to the 10th overall pick to select Rosen. They felt his ceiling was high, but quickly this proved to not be the case. He started 13 games that season going 3- 10 in that span while throwing for 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions amongst qualified quarterbacks. Rosen possessed the lowest passer rating and he was also the worst firstround rookie quarterback in 2018 in your typical counting stats. Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks was fired after that failure of a season, replaced with Cliff Kingsbury later that offseason. Kingsbury and the Cardinals had the first overall pick in 2019 with all sides pointing to Kyler Murray as their pick and famously Kingsbury held firm stating that Josh is our guy. But as everybody could tell, he clearly was not. The Cardinals selected Kyler Murray with the first overall pick, then proceeded to flip Rosen to Miami for a 2019 second and a 2020 fifthround pick. Rosen only saw action in six games with Miami and the following season, the Dolphins selected Tua wave Josh Rosen. He didn’t see game action until 2021 with the Falcons where he threw two interceptions in 11 attempts. And despite expectations of being a pro ready quarterback, Rosa never found his footing at the pro level. And right now he is getting his mers in business administration at the Wharton School. How do you like that?

  1. Both the cardinals and Dolphins made no sense when it came to Rosen.

The cardinals trade up but then get rid of them after a season.

Then the Dolphins give away a second and fifth round and only start the guy six games?

Kyler, Murray and Tua really haven’t done much better in the win column. They might have better stats because they were given more chances and more reps, but in the end you’re gonna pay these two quarterbacks max contracts for what?

Both franchisees will continue to be mediocre for the next five years minimum

  2. You forgot to mention that was Steve Wilks first year as head coach and he wasn't the GM that picked this crappy QB; so they penalized a black first year HC for a choice that wasn't his, then when they replaced him with a white HC they allowed his to pick the QB he needed to be successful, and they kept the GM (the one who made the bad call twice, one for moving up giving away draft capitol, and two for selecting him) on………..
But people claim theirs no such thing as white privilege………SMH

  3. I mean didn’t he make enough in the NFL to basically buy rental properties and just chill with life on ez mode? Surprised he went back to school.

  4. It’s almost a curse to become the starter in the NFL immediately because they’re not ready for the skill and speed difference but they’re thrown into it and when you get you ass handed to you every week it destroys your confidence, I bet if he would’ve been in a situation where he was behind a good veteran qb it would’ve been different for him
