[0:00] “It wasn’t a pretty game by any means, but, you know, 2-1 lead with 20 seasons to go and unfortunate that, you know we almost think we’re going to get one there in the empty net. HTey turn around, make a pass and it’s a 2-on-1…it sucks when you’re 19 seconds away from pulling out a win and you only get one point.”

[0:31] “It seems like we’re trying to find some offense, but it’s a little tough to come by.”

[1:05] “We got to try to go out, you know, win a game [in Winnipeg] and make it half decent trip, right?…It’s just sometimes, you know, you need that killer instinct to put teams away.”

Bruno

[0:00] “I liked our game. We gave ourselves some really good chances to win and I guess every second counts…when Marchy had it, you know, I think we thought it was over and kind of gave up on the play a little bit and turned around.”

[2:04] “The power play is a little bit better…I think offensively, we’re a little slow right now with our decisions with the puck, a little slow to shoot it. We got some looks, but I think we got to do it a lot faster.”

[2:25] “We should feel good about it. We played a really good game, put ourselves in a position to get two points in a tough game against a playoff team. There's not a lot to complain about.  We just got to learn some little things…These are great learning experiences if we can learn from them.”

  1. I dont disagree with Bruno, for 59 minutes and 41 seconds we were hanging with, and beating, a team that should be much better than us. It wasnt perfect but like every game so far we were competitive, and thats great. This one just stings real bad because of *how* it ended

  2. It is shocking the energy difference between Stamkos and Bruno.

Stamkos looks like he is dying inside. Bruno seems like he is pleased.
